If It's Not Me

Chapter 52 Get That Chick

Xavier's face was livid. For the past few days, he was already filled with frustrations—a girl stole his wallet, and Daniel beat him up. After that, he suffered another beating by Raymond and almost lost his life. Unexpectedly, Selena Murphy, the younger sister of the head of the Murphy Family, contacted and offered him a lucrative amount of money to abduct a woman and violate her to death. In addition, it would be even better if there could be a recording of it. Xavier had already done something like this a few times, but he had never received such a huge sum before, and he took up the offer without even thinking. However, he never expected that there would be another man in the car. Also, Selena had instructed him not to cause other trouble, and just to be sure, it would be better to call and ask first. After he gave it a thought, he whisked out his phone, paced to the side, and made a call. He returned in less than two minutes and pointed at Nelson, saying, "You can get lost. You're not the one I want." Nelson was stunned as he instantly realized that their target was Janice, and he started to hesitate but still said, "Who sent you to kidnap her? Do you have any idea that the woman in the car is from the Tillman Family of Atlasdam—" "F*ck you! Are you leaving or not?!" Before he could finish speaking, Xavier kicked him in annoyance. With fury written all over his face, he raised his hand, which was holding a shiny machete, and pointed it at him. "If you keep yakking non-stop, I'll even kill you!" If it wasn't Selena who insisted that he shouldn't hurt the man in front of him now, he couldn't wait to knock Nelson out with a hit of the club. As for Janice, Xavier couldn't care less about her identity and status. Regardless, he would just have some fun with her, get the money and flee. He highly doubted that these families would be able to find him afterward. In the car, Janice couldn't hear their conversation outside, but when she saw Nelson getting a kick, she jumped in surprise and quickly took out her phone. Alas, there wasn't any signal at all! "That's impossible. Why isn't there any signal here?" Panic-stricken, she looked around and suddenly saw that there was a device looking like a router in one of the cars in front, and a red light on it was blinking.''That's… a signal jammer?!" Her beautiful eyes widened in fear as she instantly connected the dots and realized that these people came with malicious intentions, and this was all an elaborate plan. She could feel her heart in her throat at the thought. At that moment, she watched as Xavier pointed at Nelson with his knife, and after saying a few things, Nelson fell to the floor with a pale face. Finally, he gritted his teeth, glanced back at her, and seemed to be in a dilemma. "What is he doing?" Janice muttered with a frown. Then, Nelson got up, brushed the dust off his bum, balled up his fists, and hopped over to the small road next to the highway with his head lowered, heading straight for the small forest and leaving! "Nelson, Nelson!" she shouted in terror as she rolled down the window. Yet, he didn't even turn back, and his figure quickly disappeared into the night! Where is he going? Did he dump me here and escape by himself? Instantly, blood drained from her face, and she saw more than twenty pairs of leering eyes roaming around freely on her body. A shiver ran down her spine as a horrified look washed over her face. "Get that chick out of the car!" Xavier shouted while raising the machete in his hand. After that, more than twenty thugs dashed forward. Janice squashed down her fear, quickly released her seatbelt, reached out to the driver's seat, and locked the car while quickly rolling up the window. Bam, bam! Unable to open the doors, the thugs began to hit the windows with their clubs, and some even jumped on the hood, smashing the windscreen so hard that it was starting to crack! "Ah!" Janice shrieked in horror, covering her head with her arms, her face filled with despair. Nobody noticed that hidden in the darkness, two pairs of eyes filled with a murderous intent were watching this scene unfold. On the grass, two fighters dressed in black lay on their stomachs, and without close scrutiny, they blended in with the dark.
