Pampered By Billionaires After Betrayal
The argument in the bedroom suddenly ceased. They didn’t come out afterward. Emily understood. She grabbed her keys and phone, and left the room. These two, one had love but wouldn’t express it, the other couldn’t see the other’s feelings. For them to finally express their feelings was no easy feat. She decided to give them some space to be alone together. With that thought, Emily felt that room 2307 at the Hilton Hotel was quite a magical place. It seemed like a room designed for creating couples. As for the movie? She’d watch it alone. There was a cinema not far from the Hilton Hotel. Emily bought a ticket and waited outside for the screening to begin. Mr. Satan called her: “You went out?” “Yes,” Emily briefly explained the situation with Allen Parker and Olivia to him: “I thought I should give them some space.” “Hmm,” Mr. Satan didn’t comment further: “Are you okay by yourself? Do you want me to come with you?” Emily refused: “No. Focus on your work. I’m just pregnant, not incapable of taking care of myself. I can’t expect you to accompany me every moment. Besides, you were tired last night too.” Mr. Satan’s tone turned teasing: “It was you who said you were tired last night, and I could continue.” “Aren’t you tired?” “No,” Mr. Satan firmly denied: “And I plan to go again tonight.” Emily laughed: “Alright, I know you’re amazing. The movie is about to start. I’m going in.” “Okay.” After hanging up, Emily checked the time. The ticket inspection line was forming. The movie had been getting great reviews and box office numbers lately. It had just finished its premiere last night, and today there were many people coming to watch. Emily wasn’t in a hurry. She crossed her hands over her belly and stood at the end of the line, slowly moving forward with the crowd. Just then, a young woman behind her exclaimed: “It’s you!” Emily turned around to see a young mother holding a small baby and a five-year-old girl by the hand. The little girl was dressed like a doll, incredibly cute. Emily didn’t recognize her immediately: “Sorry, who are you?” “Don’t you remember me?” The young mother smiled gently: “We met at the amusement park entrance. Your boyfriend… no, your boss, was driving a pink car with you, and my daughter kept insisting on riding the princess car.” Emily suddenly remembered, “Ah… I remember now. It’s you! Did you have a second child?” The young mother, slightly plump with a round face full of maternal warmth, smiled: “Yes, my baby is over three months old now.” “Do you remember me?” The little girl, still in a pink dress, asked. Last time, she had short hair, and now it was long and curly. She wore a small diamond tiara and a pink tulle dress, her big eyes shining as she held Emily’s hand, shaking it. Emily laughed and greeted her: “Hello, little princess. Of course, I remember you.” The little girl beamed: “Is that man not with you today?” “He’s busy.” “Oh, like my dad. My dad is also very busy. I hardly ever see him…” The young mother pulled her daughter’s hand, interrupting her, and turned to Emily: “Are you here alone to watch a movie?” Emily nodded: “I saw online that this movie got great reviews, so I thought I’d come and watch.” “Me too,” the young mother said with a somewhat helpless smile: “After having a baby, the time for myself became much less. You should enjoy your life now.” Emily smiled and nodded in agreement. “For the sake of the baby, I haven’t gone out in three months. Today is the first time I’m out since having my second child. I’ve always loved movies before getting married and having kids, and I finally got to go out to watch one.”The young mother was very happy: “But unfortunately, I have to bring these two children with me. As a mother, everything has to be sacrificed for the children.” Emily nodded: “Mothers are truly great.” “Greatness aside, I just feel like I’m losing myself more and more. If time could go back, I wouldn’t get married and have kids so early,” the young mother joked: “Haha, just kidding.” Not far away, a staff member gently reminded: “The movie is about to start. Please take your seats promptly and set your mobile devices to silent mode to avoid disturbing others…” The young mother asked Emily: “Which seat are you in?” Emily hadn’t looked closely before and checked her ticket: “Row 8, seat 25.” The young mother exclaimed: “Wow, what a coincidence! I’m in seat 26. We’re sitting next to each other!” “What a small world.” The line moved forward slowly, and many viewers had already entered. When it was Emily’s turn, she handed her ticket to the ticket inspector and entered the cinema. However, the young mother was stopped by the staff. The staff member looked troubled: “Sorry, ma’am, our cinema has a policy that one adult can only bring one child inside.” The young mother hurriedly pulled out the tickets: “I bought three tickets. I bought tickets for both of my children. Isn’t that okay?” “Sorry, ma’am, this is our cinema’s policy to ensure the viewing experience for other patrons. If both children cry, it would be difficult for one adult to manage. Please understand.” The young mother looked a bit dejected. The little girl stood beside her mother, too young to understand what was happening but old enough to know they couldn’t go inside. The little girl approached the ticket inspector cautiously and said: “I won’t cry. I’ll be good and help take care of my brother. Can you please let us in?” The ticket inspector, a young college student working part-time, looked troubled: “Little one, if I let you in, I’ll get fined…” “Sweetheart,” the young mother called softly, extending her hand: “Come here. Let’s not make it difficult for her.”The little girl’s eyes filled with disappointment: “Oh…” People behind them were impatiently urging: “They said no, let’s not hold up the line. The cinema can’t change the rules for one person. The movie is about to start. Don’t hold us up!”
