Pampered By Billionaires After Betrayal

Chapter 325 Be My Girlfriend

Ten minutes later, Allen Parker was standing outside room 2307 at the Hilton. Emily opened the door for him. "Hello, Emily." Allen was polite, but Emily could see the sweat on his forehead. In this late autumn weather, with the wind blowing outside, the fact that he was sweating showed how anxious he was. "Hello," Emily said, "Come in, Olivia is inside." Allen Parker stepped inside. Hearing the noise, Olivia buried herself under the covers on the guest bed, wrapping herself up like a chubby caterpillar. Emily said, "You two talk, I’ll be in the kitchen." Allen Parker nodded, "Thank you." Emily smiled without saying anything, leaving the guest room for the two of them and heading to the kitchen. Olivia lay facing away from the door, not showing any intention of turning around. She felt a mix of surprise and anger. If what Emily said was true, that Allen Parker liked her, why didn’t he just say it? Why deduct her salary! She couldn’t stand the salary deduction! Just then, a warm hand reached over from behind, touching her forehead. "You don’t have a fever." The hand quickly withdrew. Then the bed dipped slightly as Allen Parker sat down. "How are you feeling now?" Olivia curled up a bit. "I’m fine."Allen Parker reached out to turn her around, but before he could, she moved away, putting some distance between them. Allen Parker smiled wryly. "If you’re not feeling well, we should go to the hospital." Olivia puffed her cheeks, "I told you I’m fine. I don’t need you to care." "Why not? You’re my assistant now. As your boss, it’s my duty to care." "But last time when Lucas was sick and still performed, you didn’t care about him!" At the mention of Lucas, Allen Parker’s voice turned a bit colder. "Are you blaming me for treating Lucas unfairly?" Olivia muttered, "Not really…" Allen Parker explained, "Being a star is different from being an ordinary employee. Lucas is a singer, a public figure with millions of fans. His actions affect not only the company’s profits but also himself. He’s responsible to his fans and all the staff, which is why he chose to perform despite being sick. If he didn’t, all the efforts of over a hundred people would be wasted." She knew that. Lucas was always a very dedicated artist. But... today's conversation had nothing to do with Lucas. Olivia slowly sat up, her round cheeks flushed. "Do you have something to tell me?" Allen Parker raised an eyebrow. "You need to eat in moderation." "And?" "How’s your dad’s health?" "Much better..." Olivia frowned, "Boss, I’m a bit slow and I don’t like metaphors. Since you’re not saying it, I’ll just ask. Emily just told me that you like me, which is why you make me work all the time. I just want to know, is that true?" Allen Parker’s expression became a bit odd. He was a seasoned businessman, but faced with an innocent person like Olivia, he was at a loss. He felt a bit stiff. "Ahem..." Allen Parker cleared his throat, trying to calm his racing heart. "Do you hope it’s true or false?""This isn’t about what I hope. Just tell me the truth." Olivia wasn’t shy at all, making Allen Parker feel a bit awkward. He gritted his teeth and admitted, "She’s right, I do like you, I..." "S.hit." Olivia swore, cutting off the rest of Allen Parker’s confession. He squinted slightly. "What did you just say?" Olivia glanced at him nervously, "I didn’t swear at work, so you can’t deduct my salary again! I took a lot of time off because of my dad’s illness. If you deduct my salary, I won’t be able to afford food." "I’m not deducting your salary," Allen Parker said. "I’ve given you a clear answer. So, do you have an answer for me?" Olivia blinked. "What answer?" "Will you be my girlfriend?" Olivia shrank back, answering quickly, "No." Allen Parker crossed his arms, looking down at her. "Because of Lucas?" "No, Lucas is just my idol. Idols just need to look good and sing well. Boyfriends are different." "Why?" "My standards for a boyfriend are very high." Allen Parker nodded. "Let’s hear them." Olivia wasn’t afraid of him anymore. He was the one asking her now, so she had nothing to fear! So Olivia started listing her conditions. "First, if he’s my boss, he can’t deduct my salary or make me buy coffee every day." "That’s a very specific requirement. Continue." "And, he can’t control what I eat." Allen Parker made a "stop" gesture. "That one’s not acceptable." Olivia quickly asked, "Why not?""When you’re on your period, you eat a lot and could get sick. Everything else is fine, but this one is negotiable." Olivia glared at him. "Then I won’t agree! I’ll stay single forever! I can be Emily’s baby’s godmother." Olivia’s firm stance made Allen Parker frown. Knock, knock, knock— The door was knocked. Emily came in. "Sorry to interrupt. Olivia, have some water." Olivia obediently nodded. "Okay." Emily watched her drink, then took the empty cup and left. "Alright, you two continue." "Where were we?" Olivia quickly got back into the conversation. "Oh right, you can’t control what I eat." "No." "Then I won’t agree to be your girlfriend!" Allen Parker took a deep breath. "I can’t deal with you, can I?" Olivia raised her chin defiantly. "What can you do about it?" The next second, she was tackled. Allen Parker didn’t give her a chance to think, pressing his lips to hers in a kiss.
