Ime The meeting with the Triad continued after my mate had left. it was clear to see the Triad was not impressed with Merna's behaviour. They had branded her as uncouth. As the Triad Council continued to slander my mate I thought for sure that the trip here was futile. I found it odd that My grandmother and Da had locked eyes, neither one blinking nor turning their head. “What is going on?” I whispered to my brother. Whispering back, “I'm pretty sure the Triad are thinking of other ways to kill your mate. you might want to say goodbye to her soon!” My brother lightly chuckled. “In all honesty I am not sure what is going on. besides the obvious that they are not happy with your mate I do not know if anything will come of this.” He shrugged his shoulders “we probably came here for nothing!” “Triad counsellor Da … Merna had pointed out that she knew you … how is this so?” My grandmother asked. Triad counsellor Da brought the tips of his fingers together, “Grimoire do not disregard that file that is in your hand so quickly. it seems that I'm not the only one that remembers!” He glared at the others, “There was no mention of when the dragon king came nor when the child's path crossed with mine! Though I will admit I prefer the younger version of the child.“ All of the Triad members' eyes glowed white, displaying that they all were having a private conversation. Grimoire had handed the file over to Da. Judging by all of their expressions and body posture it was precise to say that their focus was no longer on Merna's disposition but now focused on the information that had been placed in their hands. We had not been dismissed but the meeting had been paused so that all the Triad members could go through the information that was presented to them. We were given accommodations. Though we were allowed to wander there was always a surf with us following us everywhere we went. Any and all discussions were being monitored. Grandmother had warned me and my brother to watch our tongues. though the Triad was supposed to be mediators non-biased and their judgement. grandmother was not convinced that one of them could not be born off of her so called siblings. Splitting off from my family I found myself wandering into the Triads Garden. There were a variety of trees, shrubs and flowers. Only in storybooks did I read of trees bearing fruit and shrubs producing berries. Though I missed the comfort of my home this place was just as comforting. wandering over to the flowers I was amazed at the colours but what caught my attention the most was the fragrance it reminded me of my mate. “Do you see something that pleases you granddaughter of Iravu?” Counsellor Alround approached me. Displaying respect I gave counsellor Alround a brief bow, “it is not watch I see that is pleasing, but the scent … the flowers they remind me of someone I treasure!”Alround gave me a pleasant smile, “these plants originated from the homeland of Celestra. You will find them in no other realm but here. We were fortunate enough to collect them before everything was completely lost … alas … we could not save everything!” “Grandmother and Grandfather Zagi keep the memories of Celestra alive by telling us stories of the old ways. We can not follow everything … for the obvious, but we do try to keep some of the traditions going.” I was getting prepared to leave the location when Triad Alround asked me, “tell me about the human that intruded on the meeting with your grandmother?” I knew I could not lie though I could not give him any information that my grandmother would deem sensitive information. “Merna was to be there on my grandmother's summons. As you probably already know, she is wild, untamed yet with those distasteful characteristics … Merna has proven several times to be very resourceful. I am afraid that I do not know much past this!” “What does this human born mean to Chaos?” Two times he had referred to Merna as a human born, and I felt the need to correct him. “Triad Counselor Alround, I know you do not like how Merna has conducted herself earlier in the meeting hall. Do not downgrade something solely based on the fact that you do not like the untamed nature of the species!” I glared at the counsellor, “why do you ask me such questions when Merna mentioned your name … surely you remember what she does?” Alround took one step closer, “stay away from that one … she is trouble! I would hate to see you be punished because you associate with her!” I could not tell if that was a threat or a warning. Finding my grandmother, I told her what had transpired. The only thing she would tell me was to stay close to my grandfather, he knows how to handle the Triad better than I can. My grandmother and grandfather had been called to meet with all of the Triad. My brother and I had been told to remain in our assigned chambers until they had returned. The first time my brother and I were told to remain in our assigned chambers my grandmother came back fuming. Stating if their position had not been so crucial to the balance she would have ripped their heads off of their body. Grandfather consoled grandmother telling her that the council needed more time to digest everything that she had said. In a second meeting that my grandmother and grandfather had attended the results were much better than the first. Grandfather felt that things were progressing. grandmother told us that things could move a lot faster if the council members could pull their heads out of the rectum. I knew this was not the end of the meetings with a Triad Council. But what was great about this is that there was more than just one meeting. I prayed to all this pure and innocent there would be only one more possibly two more meetings then some action can be put into place. To my brother and my dismay, there would not be just two more meetings. There will be four more meetings before he and I will be brought in along with my grandmother and grandfather.
