You Were Warned

Chapter 142 Seer

Seer I waited until I knew that Merna was alone! Without telling my mistress, I had been keeping a close vision of Merna. Something about her was bothering me. She was disappearing! I was accustomed to her acts but there was something about the way she was disappearing this time that was not of Merna’s norm. Once I figured out that she was opening portals in the physical realm, the strange disappearance act had been answered. Seeing that Merna was in her room and the house was empty. I started the summoning! In the casting circle, I set it on fire. Calling her full name, I waited! I know my Mistress wanted me to speak with her brother. As important as what had to be said to Chaos was dire. What needed to be said to Merna was a priority to me. I could have warned my Mistress of what was going on, yet I did not! I wanted no other ears to hear what needed to be said before Merna had the chance to choose her path herself. Century after century we have protected Merna to our fullest. Blinding her from her true nature. Each time she would be close to her nature the Mistress and I would intervene and conceal it again. For many lifetimes the versions of Merna lived in fear and continuously on the run. This life experience, something has changed within Merna. It could be the fact the timeline was forcibly changed to a different line. I will never be sure until this path plays itself out. I do know one thing is sure … Cancer will tell Merna the truth along with the rest of the constellation. Now that they have found her … they will not let go of their possible queen. I have no one to blame for my Mistress’ distress. I have only told her of the horrors that will befall Merna if she is ever discovered by her siblings. What I never saw was how things could be if Merna should join forces with the constellation. I also never saw how things could play out if Merna worked along with the Zodiacs. I knew how my Mistress would respond to such a thought. My Mistress would overreact and still want to cover Merna with her protection. With this, I saw Merna leaving! If my Mistress continues down this path of over protection, she will lose Merna not to her siblings but to Merna running away from her mother. My Mistress was not ready for her daughter to grow up and fly. I could sympathize with my Mistress, but what I see indicates that Merna’s nature has emerged and whether my Mistress likes it or not … Merna will fly! Studying the flames … I knew my summons had reached Merna! I waited to see what Merna’s response would be! I needed to get to Merna before she revealed her nature for everyone to see. This path could go one of three ways. Mannel will feel the change and attack her full force. Being the cause of her death. Cancer will aid her in the transition and lead her into the role of being a queen. The next possibility will be that she will be alone in the abyss. I was not surprised, Merna would have known that it was her mother's seer calling her. At this point, they were on a no speaking terms. I chuckled to myself … she would be a perfect queen to the paravai’s. As always ... This child refused to acknowledge the summons of an elder. I had to chuckle to myself as I realized that, unlike the other times, Merna ignored the call with no problems. Before now, it would take Merna several attempts to disconnect the summons. I had no choice, I had to take things in a different direction. There was no way I was going to let Merna go through the transition on her own. Focusing my mind, I summoned Pisces! In a short time, these two have interacted. I noticed they had a sibling like relationship. If there was anyone that could get to Merna quickly, it would be him. Yawning, ‘Yes!’ I felt bad for disrupting Pisces’ nap but I felt that this was more dire than his resting time. I allowed a representation of myself to show up in Pisces’ mind. A link had been formed! ‘Pisces listen to me!’ The young boy jumped once he realized who was speaking to him. With a hand over his heart, ‘It is only you! Here I thought death was coming to claim me!’ ‘If my visions are correct you will have a very long life, with great grandchildren playing around your feet. But I did not come here to speak about what your possible future may be.’ My chuckle may have sounded malicious to him, but I meant him no harm. ‘You must get a hold of Merna ... tell her she needs to get in contact with me once she receives your message!’ I was not prepared for his defiant display. With this, I was more confident in what I had to tell Merna. ‘What does Pirapancam want with Mirna? Why do you not get a hold of her yourself?’ Pisces crossed his arms, displaying his temper towards me. They have not even called her their queen and they were already protective of Merna. My words came out smooth and warm like the sun, ‘My Mistress does not know I am trying to get a hold of her daughter ... Merna needs to know what is about to happen! She must get in contact with me before the blood moon!’ To make sure Pisces understood the importance of this, ‘Merna’s nature is about to reveal itself to the world! You already know how dangerous that is if you are alone.’Pisces gave me a knowing expression. He was one of the many who had been attacked on his sixteenth birthday when he shifted for the first time. If it were not for the constellations being there to celebrate the occasion of his successful transition … Pisces most likely would not have been standing in front of me. ‘Are you going to tell her then?’ Pisces had relaxed a bit, not by much though. ‘No boy! That it is for Pirapancam to tell Merna! But if Merna does not get to me in time ... it will not matter! Everyone will know what she is. And the hunt for Merna will begin!’ I was no stranger to the paravai decline in population. ‘I will tell you this young man … the path has been changed! What I speak will bring more clarity to what Merna needs to do.’ I looked behind me, feeling as if someone was trying to listen to our conversation. ‘I can not say much more boy … get to Merna!’
