You Were Warned

Chapter 110 Kudiya, Master, Peirre

*Kudiya* This is the furthest we have gone, glancing around the location, something was telling me that this location was a place that we should not be. But father rules all of these regions so, I pushed the thought out of my mind. As the rabbit was proceeding further ahead of us, it dawned on me where we were. Dath shouted for her to stop … but it was too late. The rabbit was flung backwards and Iravu appeared. This is when I knew we were fucked beyond belief. I had only one fear that came before nonexistence and that was Iravu. The stories that my siblings told me about her and her offspring brought me nothing but terror. Ashur always told me that if I upset my father, he would send me to Iravu. It was her skills that he had become so persistent at being the punisher. As I got older Ashur told me that it was tales to only scare me, which worked. But I still could not move my feet. All I could do was show my respects and bow. Dath was quick to follow but the rabbit glared at Iravu like a deer in headlights. I thought for sure Iravu was going to slit her throat for the disrespect. I was astonished when Iravu examined her and announced that she knew the rabbit. ‘I am sure your auntie is not going to kill me, but you … I do not think your fate is looking so good right now my dear friend!’ Dath was chuckling in my head. ‘If we make it out of here alive, remind me to pound the shit out of you when we get home!’ I hissed at him. I could not believe what was happening, I was being reprimanded for the rabbits' doings. How was I supposed to know that this realm was Iravu’s? It is not like I had been here before! I was going to make sure the rabbit paid for this later. There was no way I was going to let this slide. I will just wait until I get home and speak with Zefer. She will help me, she has hated the rabbit just as much as I do if not more. *Master* All of the evidence I needed to hand to the council was here all this time. My arrogance was the cause of not noticing what my siblings and kin had been doing for who knows how long. I had given the task to Camile to go through all of the files and gather the evidence that I needed. I wanted to know how long this had been going on. Once again the portal to my private chamber had opened. The next round of recruitment had strolled through the portal. Roughly sixty- nine hundred heads were added to my arm. Kudiya was the last one to show up. Our sights connected, “I take it you have something to report on?” I said to my son. Kudiya nodded at me once, “we need to go somewhere private.” A brief nod, ‘I have to finish up a few things!’ I informed my son. Kudiya was waiting in the throne room when I entered. Everyone was ordered out of the location except two hunters who were to stand guard in the hallway. Inquiring, “What is it that you had to say that needed privacy?” “Merna portaled us to Iravu’s domain.” Kudiya did not waste anything getting to the point. “And Iravu recognized her the second she spotted her.” I raised my brows, “What about Merna?” Clearing his throat, “Your pet did not seem to remember her. Iravu mentioned that she was a lot younger the last time she saw your hybrid.” I started to rub my chin with my fingers, “Interesting! Why is Merna not here?” His brows started to frill, “She was convinced that if she came here, you would insist she stayed. So she is at the portal entrance, hunting down more places she wants to travel to.” ‘She is not wrong!’ I thought to myself. Kudiya seemed to show signs of getting tired. “She does not seem to slow down!” He huffed out. I almost started to chuckle, “is there anything else?” Motioning his head, “Yes! Iravu said that she will back you up in this war against our kin!” “Iravu has always despised our kin, she would not think twice to execute them if given the chance.” I thought about things for a moment, “When Merna has finished her task, I will send you to Iravu and arrange things!” Kudiya’s jaw opened and closed several times, “With all due respect Father but could you not send Ashur or even Alma?” I started to laugh, “Iravu will not kill you!” “But she bites!” Kudiya shouted. It was clear that Kudiya’s fear of my sister was still present. Even though it was stories fed to him by Ashur. He has not gotten over what he fears the most.A malicious grin crossed my face. “Are you scared of Iravu?” Overreacting, “Everyone with a shred of brain cells is scared of Iravu!” *Pierre* My task was to find Mannel. At last count, he was seen at Bogota, Columbia. From the information that I was given about my target, he was a direct line to the Master. One of his siblings is an original. It was reported that Mannel was possibly hunting down for human borns that possessed magical skills. “How hard would it be to find a five foot eternal that is wandering around the earthly realm?” I muttered to myself as I shuffled the bag that was on my back around. The first thing I needed to do was create a home base for myself. This was going to be no different than any other time that I go out for the hunt. The only difference was going to be that instead of being in the wilderness, it was the city I was going to be wondering about. After a while of hunting, I decided to locate myself in the slums of the city. Being close to the degenerates of society would be the perfect place to hide and watch the surroundings. I was told that the energy signature of Mannel would stand out above other spirits and entities. For the first day, I searched the south locations of Bogota. There was nothing of interest here. As the nighttime life sprung to life, I decided to go west. Again there was nothing of any use for me. The only thing I saw was half-dressed females flaunting their chests hoping for free drinks. Unimpressed, I journeyed North hoping that my search would be more fruitful. The surroundings seemed different, it was old but someone powerful had been there. Based on the intel that I was given, this was the part of Bogota they had been meaning. The hint of power tickled the back of my nose. It was like a bear coming close to you. You smell the bear long before you ever see the bear. Grumbling to myself, “It would have been nice if they had given more detail about what part of Bogota they had spotted Mannel.” Heading more North-East I was following a scent that was mingling in with the stench of Mannel. It had a floral sweet smell. I spotted a female, she was roughly twenty years old, no more than twenty-five. The aura around her told me that she was just starting to tap into her abilities. “Bait!” This would be someone Mannel would find appealing. Fresh, young and impressionable. Merna once told me that many times when someone is coming into their abilities, if they do not have someone to guide them, they become prey to tricksters. The night was still young when I spotted a black blob following the young female. It was clear that this shapeshifting parasite had no idea that as it was hunting its prey, it was prey as well. The mission was to kill Mannel, there was nothing said that I could not take down a few others while in the process. I spent the night standing in the darkness watching every move of the parasite. The bar that the young female had been at was getting ready to close. Instead of getting a ride home, the female decided to walk home. “Big mistake!” I thought of all of the bad situations that could happen to this female. Anything could happen from point A to Z. As I had protected, the bad situation was going to be this entity. Unbeknown to the female, the blob changed into a male eternal. It was not Mannel, but the hint of power hit my nose like a brick. He was ready to pounce on the female once the area was darkened with no activity. The female was swaying in her heels! The eternal took this opportunity to jump her. With no thoughts, I came out of my hiding and attacked. I have no idea who was shocked, the female who could see us fighting or the eternal who was pinned to the ground with a blade directed at his chest. “Where is Mannel?” I bellowed Sneering up at me, “I am not telling you a thing!” “Wrong answer!” I drove the blade into his chest, pulling it out, “Where is Mannel?” I asked once again. The male started to laugh, “You will pay for this with your existence!” “Hmm! I was thinking the same!” I had a wicked grin on my face. I pulled out a special blade that Sadragon gave me before we parted. “Last chance!” His eyes widened, “My father is going to torcher you, when he finds you, you are dog meat!” His bravado was back. “Interesting prospect, I like my odds!” I drove the gold blade into the son of Mannel’s gut. Twisting it sideways and ripping it out again. “Let us see how long it takes for Daddy to come and save his son from death?” I dangled the blade in his face. The smug expression started to fade away, “A death's blade?” “Rare indeed!” I examined the blade that had been gifted to me. “Majority of these blades have been destroyed because they can kill gods, eternals … oh pretty much every species that exists. And lucky me had one in his possession.” I taunted the now slowly dying entity. “He is not here!” The female said with a shaky voice. “You can hear me?” I glanced over toward the visibly scared female. “You are going to want to go to Brazil!” The female finally got up to her feet, “they have been after me for a very long time. I thought I could have one night of fun with my friends. I have been so stressed …” I could tell she was holding back tears. Trying not to sound cross, “Look lady … I am really sorry for what you have been going through but I am pressed for time.” The female inhaled once, “You are Merna’s friend … which means you are a friend of ours!” I stood up to my full height, “You now have my attention!” “My name is Fay … I am a hybrid fae and neruppu paravai!” She started, “You need to go to Brasilia, Brazil! Find two hundred and fifteen Central, and look for a shop that says Magic Shop. There you will find aid in your search.” Fay glared at the unmoving body. “Is it gone for good?” As she asked her question, Mannel’s son’s energy was drawn into the blade. I glared at the blade with a wicked grin on my face, “Most definitely!” I reassured her. With a slight bow, “Gracias!” I focused on my home base and opened a portal, stepping threw the door, I found my belongings. There was no rest for me now, I was on the hunt down for Mannel.”
