You Were Warned
*Ashur* My father's thoughts were pushed into my mind. ‘I need you to gather the best fighters, we will be attacking the areas that my siblings have occupied in the East, South and West in the Earth realm. Sadragon will take on the East, you will head West while Wematin will take on the areas that are between the two of you.’ ‘May I speak freely father?’ I asked my father. Huffing, ‘What are your thoughts?’ He responded. ‘Would it not be best if we take over each direction one at a time?’ I spoke my thoughts. Lacking all emotions, ‘That suggestion was brought up and I have disagreed with it!’ He replied. I cleared my throat, ‘I do not mean to question your methods, they have never failed us before, I am just worried that if we spread our army too far apart that we will be at a disadvantage.’ Father started to chuckle, ‘Each group has over six million heads!’ I nodded my head, ‘That will do!’ I was unaware of how big the war parties would be. I could feel the amusement, ‘You get the first pick, then Sadragon the remainder will be with Wematin!’ A grin crossed my face, ‘when does this start?’ ‘Get everything arranged … all of you are leaving once the earth's sun has set!’ Father paused for a moment, ‘son … Come back home! That is an order!’ I made my choice of hunters, and Sadragon and Wematin negotiated who they would take with them. While the recruitment that Merna had gotten us, they decided among themselves how they were going to divide themselves among the parties. Each of us eagerly waited for the sun to set, the second we stepped out of our territory, we were ambushed. They had been waiting for this move. Father and I had expected this, so we had prepared ourselves. As planned we fought through what was in front of us. Our opposition may have been waiting for us to make our move, what they did not expect was the numbers. *Merna* The location was the furthest I had ever been. The massive matter that I was hunting for was close by. It was not the lack of sight that made me pause, nor the feeling of exposition. It was the energy, the heightened smell that caught my attention.“Why have you stopped moving your feet?” Dath questioned my lack of action. Moving my head back and forth, up and down, “It is a feeling that I am getting! I can’t place it but … I feel like I have been here before! A feeling that I can’t place.” Kudiya snapped, “We have no time for feelings nor your emotions! We came here to get a job done!” Dath snapped his head towards Kudiya. I mentally gave my head a shake and glared at Kudiya. “You are correct! I just got lost in my head for a moment! My apologies!” It had not gone unnoticed that Kudiya’s temper had been more tolerable since the last tongue-lashing I gave him. He had a cross between fearing me and hating me. I do not even think hate is strong enough of a word. All of my senses were on overdrive. “There is something about this location that is not making sense to me!” I announced. Mimicking Dath’s actions, I placed my body in a crouch position. “I feel it too!” Dath confirmed the uneasy feeling. Kudiya spun around in circles, “I do not see anything!” Kudiya pointed out what all of us already knew. I extended my arm, flatting my hand out so that I could feel the energy flow. Bringing the possibility, “Is it possible that the prison has already moved?” Dath asked. My sight told me that nothing was here, yet I could not shake the feeling that the mass matter was still here. “Merna …” He was trying to get my attention. “Do you know where we are?” Kudiya said as he stomped towards me. I bobbed my head, “we are further out than we ever have been. As far as I can tell, a location that I haven’t explored before.” I stood up, ready to believe that Dath was correct … the prison probably had moved. It wouldn’t be the first time that we would get to a location and the prison would have already been gone. I turned “I think Dath …” I paused as I felt eyes watching me. Every hair on the back of my head stood at attention. Spinning, I rudely pointed toward the energy that I had felt, “there!” Kudiya and Dath studied me, they thought that I had lost my mind. Everything told us that there was not anything there, but my other senses told me otherwise.Carefully I strolled towards the area in which I felt the change. Placing my hands out so that I could feel the energy. “There is nothing here hybrid!” Kudiya was beyond annoyed with me. The energy was sparking from my hand, causing a blue flame to erupt from me. I was reacting to the surrounding location the closer I motioned towards it. “I do not believe this!” Kudiya muttered. I continued to move forward slowly gauging the energy. “STOP!” Dath shouted a little too late. I had been projectile backwards into Dath. The force of the impact knocked both of us off our feet and onto our backs. Dath was able to recover faster. I on the other hand took a bit longer to regain my senses. Holding the side of my head, “what was that?” I was asking no one in particular. “You do not want to know!” Kudiya said as he roughly aided me up onto my feet. “We need to leave before she comes out!” Kudiya’s tone was low and serious. I scrunch my forehead. ‘I thought that Kudiya only really feared his father’s wrath, who else could there be that he would run from. Kudiya never ran from anyone.’ My thoughts were answered when a female form materialized. Just like Pirapancam, she was black mist, with shimmers of light floating inside of her being. The power she admitted was ancient. Kudiya and Dath kneel in respect as I glued my sight on her, unable to move or speak. The image she portrayed was beyond comparable. Long black hair floating effortlessly around. Lips that would make anyone want to kiss, obsidian eyes with swirling gold energy. She was tall, standing seven to eight feet, shorter than the other Eternals. Her hands were slender, with long fingernails. How they were shaped gave me the impression that she could use them to cut anyone's throat. She might have appeared to me as calm and reserved, but my mind knew that she was a dangerous entity … Chaos’ type of dangerous. I took a step closer, trying to not make it known that I was smelling the air around her. She had a familiar smell. Something that I had been around once before. Slowly, “Do … I … know you?” I questioned my senses. The female lifted my chin, my head was as far back as it would go. “You are a lot older now! I never thought I would see you again, why are you here?” She asked me as she turned her attention towards Kudiya. “You are Chaos’s offspring, are you not?” She snapped her fingers.Stuttering, “Forgive the intrusion! The human …” Kudiya started. “Do not place blame on a child that is not knowing! You should have known better!” Her voice radiated command. I moved my head out of her hands and I took a step backwards. “You would be correct, Kudiya is Chaos’s offspring. As to why we are here…? That would be my doing! I am looking for prisons and freeing the prisoners that have been wrongfully convicted of crimes that they did not do. Or convicted for not agreeing with an agenda that was not of their nature.” The female touched the side of my head. Without my doing, the female was searching through my memories. “I see my siblings are up to no good again.” She paused as she materialized a chair for herself to sit in. “This will not end well! Tell me, child, how much of my brother do you know?” My smart ass could not contain my nature. “You have many brothers, which one would you be speaking of?” The female smiled sweetly, “I can tell that you haven’t changed much since the last time I saw you. I am referring to Chaos?” “Shorting down a long story … fuck around and find out!” I smiled, “I think he gives new meaning to that saying!” She clicked her tongue, “You would not be wrong!” The female observed me closely, “you have gained more confidence in your skills. I can see why my brother would utilize your skills to his benefits. I do warn you though, do not get in his way. If you are harmed in the crossfire, he will not mourn your death.” “I did not expect that he would!” I matched the female's energy. “I am only after the truth and justice.” “To find the truth would take you more than this lifetime to comprehend. The lies and truths are intertwined. Each having their own version of events. Some of it is factual, the rest is what they want to believe.” The female studied me, “what do human borns like to say all the time?” I cleared my throat, “There are three truths, their truth, the other side's truth and the actual truth!” “Yes!” The female glanced over at the three of us, “you need to leave, you will not find what you desire here. My domain is untouchable!” I started to snicker, “Something tells me that if you showed your presence, the focus would go from Chaos to you!” Adding, “and not because of your beauty!” Showing her teeth, “Your assumptions, child, would not be fully incorrect! There is a reason my siblings do not venture out to the furthest parts of the universe. My siblings make sure they keep their realms within the circle and not outwards.” She narrowed her sight on Kudiya. My shoulders were jiggling knowing how much her siblings and most feared her. “If they ventured outwards, they would lose their energy. Plus they would have a hard time stealing what is not theirs. I have a feeling that you would go after them with an iron fist.” “Again your assumptions would be correct.” The female then spoke to Kudiya, “tell your father that if war is what they want, war is what they will get.” Bowing, “Yes Iravu!” Kudiya replied with a shaky voice. “And for you child!” The attention was brought back to me, “do not travel this land without supervision. My offspring would mistake you as food!” Iravu got up and was about to leave, “tell your creator to come and visit me, it has been a while!” I glanced up, noticing the change in energy, waving at the Eternals, “Now I remember!” I exclaimed. “They are so cute!” I could not resist opening my mouth. Iravu started to laugh, “you have an odd sense of what is cute! Anyone with common sense would fear them!”
