SCARLET’S POV I lay down close to Lalic slowly. Landon’s words kept playing in my head. Landon: “The trio cleansing will go this way. Lalic will give his blood to the Chamlee. This would be done through some syringes connecting through their veins...” All has been set. The syringe has been connected and it has carefully been connected through Lalic’s vein. Blood flowed from Lalic to Chamlee who continued to whimper in pain. My heart bleeds as I watched the helpless state of the Chamlee, and my heroic Lalic who just wants to see his father well again. There are the two people that matter most to me in this world. They are my everything, and that’s why I have agreed with all Landon said. I am going to see this through. A bed was placed for me close to Lalic, and some syringes lay by the bed, waiting for me. Landon has been clear when he relayed his plan to us. I will only come in after a while, right when it is necessary for me. Landon: “... since the Chamlee’s state has deteriorated greatly, Lalic alone would not be able to handle it. Lalic might die from exhaustion if he is not replenished as soon as possible. In fact, this must be done during the process. Chamlee lay on the bed at the extreme, Lalic on the middle bed, while luna’s bed is close to Lalic's. In the room with me are Lara, Mia, and Kendra. Every other person is waiting outside. I have carefully guided the ladies on what to do and what to expect and I hope that there are no mistakes as even the slightest mistake might turn out lethal. I have spoken to the luna about everything, I have explained to her the step by step of this process and now we are waiting for a great result. Me: “... I assure you, no one needs to panic. I have carefully mapped out everything. You see, if everything goes as planned, then hopefully by the time you open your eyes again, the Chamlee would be standing by your bed, waiting for you” Now everything is set, just as I have predicted. It was as if his spirit was going to leave his body. “Mia...” I called. “Yes, general Landon” she replied. “You know what to do. It is time. Carefully remove the syringe connecting to the Chamlee. His gasping is becoming worst” I ordered and she quickly went into action. I breathed in relief. The gasping is a good sign. It shows that Chamlee’s dead bones are now alive. He shook his legs and hands in the process. “General Landon, the Chamlee, he... he is opening... his eyes” Mia called out in excitement.
