Umayza We quietly get out of the SUVs after we park them where we were told to and as we approach the border, a huge Lycan steps forward and I know exactly who he is. My Father in law, he is a bit taller than my Mates but other than that they look just like him. He locks eyes with me and with a smile on his face he opens his arms, I don’t have to think about it twice as I walk into them with a smile on my face. “I am glad you forgave my Sons for the mess they created, but know that if you ever have to threaten them just mention their Mom and they will back down immediately.” He says. Evander quickly informs his Father why we are here and he introduces my protection detail, Orion and my Dad to him, before we walk towards their parents’ home. The closer we get the slower my Mates start to walk and I actually start laughing my ass off.They are 6”3 with broad shoulders, they are highly trained by the Council and they have jumped into very dangerous situations during their lives. It is so damn funny to see them this scared of their Mother and I know I will be using her a lot during my pregnancy to make them back of. I see a female around my height of 5”7 step out the backdoor and I know that she is my Mother in law, I laugh even louder as I remember she terrifies them. “Care to clue me in on what is so funny, young lady?” She asks, but I am laughing so hard that I can barely catch my breath and I am grateful for my Twin at the moment. “Ma’am, she thinks its hilarious that those two tower over you with their height, that they are trained by the Council and have walked into many dangerous situations but you scare the shit out of them.” Orion answers her and my Father in law bellows as Orion hides behind their Mother. My Mother in law looks at both her Sons before she turns her attention to me, “Why do I get this feeling you will use me against them in the future?” She asks with a huge grin on her face and I have to hold onto Evander to make sure I don’t fall to the ground. “Take it easy, Little One. We don’t want you to hurt yourself or the Pups.” Evander says as he pulls me into his side and his Father stops laughing immediately, while his Mother starts laughing her ass off. “Yeah, you will definitely hold me over their heads.” She says after a while. We get divided over three cottages and Conri asks where the neighbors are to which his Father replies, “Visiting family, they know you will be staying here for a little while and offered us the use of them.” Evander gives me a look as if he wants to say “Don’t you dare tell them we might settle down here.” Ever since I spoke to them that first time I have been thinking about what to call them, I never liked the sound of Mother or Father for that matter and I already have a Dad and a Ma. Mom is reserved for the female that carried me and Orion and who died protecting us.Ma was the one that made a suggestion I can live with and I hope my parents in law won’t mind, it is the best solution for my predicament. Conri and Evander are send with the others to show them around and that leaves me with my parents in law. “Can I ask you something?” I ask and when they tell me I can ask them anything I explain my predicament with what I should call them, “But Ma had a solution for me and I hope you will allow me to call you Mama and Papa.” I say and both of them smile at me before I get pulled in for a hug. We are talking about Alpha Amarah’s matches as the rest join us again and we enjoy each other’s company while we talk and laugh. Dinner is spent at Mama and Papa’s and I enjoy hearing a few stories about my mates, they really were a handful at times. I stare in the distance without really seeing anything and I think about how much my life has changed. I have my Mates with me, we have decided where we want to settle down and our first Pups are on the way. Dad found a second chance Mate in Ma, I found out I have a baby Brother and Dad finally found out why Mom left the safety of the cave. Did I wish for things to have gone differently? That would be an affirmative Yes, but would it mean that I would be where I am today? That is an answer I don’t have, but would I be willing to risk it if I could go back and change the past? Again, that is an answer I don’t have and I don’t think I would want to find out. Yade and I have thought about it over the past few days and we know one thing for sure we love our life the way it is right now. I doubt I would want to take the risk of losing everything I have today, because who can guarantee me that things would have turned out better. Conri asks me if I am okay and I snuggle into his side as I respond, “Yes, I am fine. Just thinking of the “what if’s” and I know that even if I could change the past it might not turn out into the life I have right now.” He wraps his arms around me as he kisses the top of my head and tells me he would keep looking for me for the rest of his life if it meant I could have grown up with my Mom and Orion in it. “Okay, Alpha Amarah just linked me and you are needed at the gate of Dark mountain pack.” Papa says and after Evander shifts, I climb on Mylo’s back with a little help from Conri. Mylo and Kane lead the way as they know most of the routes through these woods and I enjoy my ride on Mylo’s back.
