Evander Mylo seems to be broke as he just sits there repeating the words “Three Pups” over and over again, I think he is too shocked to do anything else and a tiny part of me wants to join him. Just shut the rest of the world out and enjoy knowing that we are expecting three Pups. I look around for our Little Mate but I don’t see her anywhere, “She is helping Ma in the kitchen.” Asilda informs me and Conri and I get up at the same time. I sigh in relief when I see that she is rinsing dishes while she talks to Ma about her old Pack and I can see that Ma isn’t too happy with what she is hearing. Conri and I growl as she tells Ma about Dolion and everything that happened that day, Ma turns around to glare at us and I know she would have kicked our asses if we weren’t completely mated. She tells Ma about her family and the journals she is reading and soon the dishes are in the dishwashers.We spend the afternoon talking about a nursery, what we need to get for our Pups and what to name them. Everyone throws names at us, but Umayza shakes her head at most of them and I actually agree with her. We will figure it out when the time comes, besides we first have to find out their gender and after that we can really start thinking about names for our Pups. We are about to go for a walk outside when Armand walks in and asks Alpha Drew if we can use his office, “Damn, it must be serious if he is asking for the Alpha office.” I hear Conri say through the mind-link and it surprises me when he asks the Alpha to join us. Once we are all inside the office we patiently wait for Armand to start talking, “Over five years ago Alpha Kratos of Little Crescent Pack got killed and his Luna and Pup went missing. Today the Council received a phone call from White Crescent Pack that Khonsu is on his way to Dark Mountain Pack believing that Luna Asteria is there.” We all wonder how she ended up there five years later, but we don’t ask any questions. “Alpha Amarah has always known where she was, but never revealed it to the Council and with good reason. Khonsu is the one that killed Alpha Kratos and tried to kill their Pup Inti, but Luna Asteria was able to fight him off and escape. White Crescent Pack has kept her hidden all these years in a clearing between both Packs, but with Alpha Amarah and Alpha Theseus being mated they were able to buy the clearing from the Council. After marking the borders Asteria found her second chance Mate and former Alpha Damon alerted Khonsu to her whereabouts. He is unaware of the fact she is no longer in Dark Mountain territory and the Council has ordered us to go there to help out in any way we can. The Council also mentioned Khonsu is to be taken down and they don’t care if he survives.” He looks at all of us and we move as one. Everyone quickly packs their stuff, Gray has asked Ma and Asilda to stay in Silver Lotus Pack and neither one of them objects. I see Umayza glance at us from time to time and even though I want to ask her to stay here I know it isn’t the right thing to do. She might be carrying our Pups, but she is also one hell of a fighter and that is when I hear Theron curse loudly. We all turn towards him, but his eyes are on Umayza and I wonder what is going on. “You should have told me up front, what if I had injured you?” He asks. “Theron, I might be pregnant but I am not an idiot. If for one moment I thought our training session was going in the wrong direction I would have stopped you. You know my background, you know what happened to my Mother and I want you to keep that in mind. If my body tells me there are certain things I can no longer do I will make sure you are all aware of it, not just to ease your minds but also to make sure you all know how to protect me and my Pups.” She says as she looks into his eyes and he pulls her in for a hug, telling her to always put herself and her Pups first. Alpha Drew sends ten of his best Warriors with us, one of them knows where we can park our SUVs without anyone seeing them and I will call Alpha Amarah to inform her that we will be entering Pack territory. With the twenty four of us coming in from the clearing we might be able to surprise Khonsu enough to win this battle. Conri wraps his arms around Umayza as we drive towards White Crescent Pack, I place her feet on my lap as I bend forward to put my head on her belly. I know I can’t hear our Pups yet, but just knowing they are there is enough for the moment and I just enjoy the silence in the SUV as we get closer to home. Fifteen minutes before we reach the territory I make the call. I can hear the relief in her voice when I tell her we will be there shortly to help out with any trouble.
