Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone

Chapter 220 A New Crisis

Lily watched as the two figures disappeared into the distance, a worried expression on her face. "I'm still a little concerned. Mr. Reid, I think I should go check on them," she said. With the incident that had occurred today, it was clear the filming couldn't continue. Mr. Reid waved his hand, signaling that there was no need for further discussion. After thanking him, Lily left with her assistant. As they walked toward the RV, they passed by Zane, and just as Lily was about to walk past, she suddenly turned back and approached him. With an expression of disapproval and a hint of anger, she scolded, "Zane, how could you do something like this? If you lost your job, you could just find another one. Why resort to violence? What do you gain by hurting someone? If someone had died today, what would you have gained?"Zane looked at the woman scolding him and felt his anger rising. "Shut the hell up. If it weren't for you, if you hadn't pushed those three to leave because you found them to be an eyesore, Mr. Reid would never have kicked me out. I'm angry because of Thomas!" Zane had targeted Thomas instead of Lily because he believed the director was firing him because of Thomas and feared him. So, he decided to take revenge on Thomas and teach the 'star' a lesson. Lily's face darkened when he revealed his dirty motives. She noticed that everyone around them was starting to look their way. Angry and frustrated, she snapped, "What nonsense are you talking about? When did I ever do something like that?" Lily regretted stopping to scold him. She had only intended to make sure everyone knew how much she cared about Thomas and to let him know her feelings. Her assistant spoke up at the right moment. "Miss Lily, don't waste your time with him. He's like a mad dog, biting anyone he can. Let's just get away from this murderer."Lily nodded, casting a contemptuous glance at Zane. The two of them continued their verbal attack, calling him a mad dog and a murderer. Zane's fury reached a boiling point. Suddenly, Zane broke free from his restraints, grabbed a nearby fruit knife, and rushed at Lily. Someone in the crowd noticed and shouted in alarm. "Watch out!" Lily and her assistant turned in time to see Zane charging toward them, his face contorted with rage. They froze in place, terrified. Slash! The sound of a blade cutting through skin echoed in the air. Lily looked down in shock to see the knife lodged in her abdomen. Her pupils widened in disbelief as she gazed at Zane."B*tch, die!" Zane shouted, his eyes bloodshot with rage. "Someone, restrain him! Get help!" Mr. Reid shouted, his voice filled with panic. Before anyone could react, Zane turned and fled the scene. Lily's assistant quickly supported her, blood pouring from her wound. The scene was chaotic. The students from Bloomington School, who had never seen anything like this, were terrified. "Is it really this dangerous to work in the entertainment industry?" Abigail mumbled. "I thought about joining the entertainment industry myself, but after this... hmm, never mind. Life is more important," Kelly said with a look of fear. Twenty minutes later, the ambulance arrived, and Lily was rushed into the vehicle. Everyone watched as the ambulance drove away. Meanwhile, Seraphina had raced all the way to the hospital. As soon as she arrived, she swiftly removed her helmet. Seeing Thomas clumsily trying to take off his helmet with one hand, she quickly stopped him. "Don't take it off. If you do, you're not going anywhere."
