Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone
The moment Thomas and Lily arrived, all eyes in the vicinity turned toward them. "Wow, it's my goddess, Lily!" "Lily is so stunning." "My idol looks even more handsome in person. His aura is incredible!" "They make such a beautiful couple, I really wish they were together," Talia murmured dreamily, unable to hide her thoughts. As soon as the words left her mouth, a wave of disapproving looks was directed at her. Talia shrank back instinctively, feeling the weight of the harsh glares. She quickly fell silent, realizing that her comment was not welcomed. Abigail sneered, rolling her eyes. "Talia is such a fool. Does she really think Lily's a match for Thomas? Just look at Lily—she's the plastic surgery side character in my idol's life." Kelly couldn't resist laughing, her tone dripping with disdain. "With that look of hers, it's a miracle anyone even tolerates her. Theron can't stand her, but she's too oblivious to realize it. She just keeps shamelessly trying to get close to him." The mention of Theron brought Carmen into the conversation. "Actually, Seraphina still sends gifts to Theron from time to time." Kelly, looking slightly frustrated, turned to Linara and said, "You should be more proactive. Don't let Seraphina get ahead of you." Linara shook her head calmly. "If she likes him, I don't mind letting her have him." Despite her words, Linara had been texting Theron more than ever lately, certainly not letting Seraphina have any chance of stealing her fiancé. Kelly frowned at Linara's response. "You really..." Curious, Linara changed the subject. "What kinds of things has she been sending to Theron?""I'm not sure," Kelly admitted. The group hadn't inquired much about the details. They'd heard about the gifts, but specifics were never really discussed. For wealthy people like them, gifts were just things. Carmen, who usually kept quiet, spoke up. "I once saw it. It looked like food, and the packaging was really nice." Kelly burst out laughing. "She actually believes that? What's that saying again? Oh, right! 'The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.' Hahaha, she's so naive." The others, including Linara, giggled quietly, covering their mouths in amusement. To them, it seemed almost laughable. People from families like theirs didn't care about food in that way. They had Michelin-star chefs preparing their meals, their taste refined far beyond the skills of any home cook. The idea that something as simple as food could win a man's heart seemed ridiculously outdated. Just then, Thomas and Lily walked over, and the staff approached them with smiles."Mr. Foster, Ms. Mendes, let's run through this," the staff said. Thomas nodded in acknowledgment. Lily smiled, nodding as well. "Alright," she replied softly. Once the staff had left them, Lily turned to Thomas, gazing at his perfect profile, her admiration obvious. Thomas, I must say, when you wear this school uniform, it's hard to believe you graduated so many years ago." Before Thomas could respond, his gaze shifted across the crowd, and he noticed Seraphina standing gracefully among them. Her eyes were shining brightly, and for a moment, his smile grew wider. He thought back to the text message she had sent earlier and couldn't help but smile to himself. So, she had planned to surprise him. Lily, noticing the smile on Thomas' face, paused. It wasn't something she was used to seeing. During their filming, Thomas smiled on occasion, but never like this, not when they were alone.Thomas was known for his cold and serious demeanor. He was polite to those around him, of course, but the deeper one tried to get to know him, the more elusive he seemed. Following Thomas' gaze, Lily quickly spotted the beautiful figure in the crowd.
