Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone
The girl who had caught Thomas' attention was striking in her beauty. Her delicate features and fair skin seemed to glow against the backdrop of the scene. Her long, flowing hair danced in the breeze, framing her graceful figure, while her refined and poised demeanor set her apart. Even in the entertainment industry, a place known for its array of stunning actresses, she stood out. The elegance she exuded was undeniable, and it made her presence hard to ignore. Lily narrowed her eyes ever so slightly. She remained calm, her composure never wavering, as she spoke softly. "Thomas?" Startled, Thomas snapped back to reality, his mood light. "According to the normal process, I should still be in college, and by all accounts, I could still be considered a student." Lily paused, a brief moment of surprise crossing her face, before she quickly masked it with a smile. "Ah, I almost forgot. You were always a top student, weren't you? You graduated early." Although Thomas had graduated early, earning dual degrees before he even turned 22, his youth was rarely noticed due to his impressive abilities. As the two made their way toward the center of the venue, Thomas couldn't resist subtly signaling toward Seraphina, who, in turn, flashed him a playful smile. Thomas couldn't help but mutter under his breath, a faint smile tugging at his lips. This girl… While the interaction between the two might have gone unnoticed by the others, Lily, who was always watching Thomas closely, caught it. Her brow furrowed. At that moment, two supporting actresses, Natalie Henderson and Tracy Jules, stepped forward to greet them. "Mr. Foster, Ms. Mendes," they said, their voices filled with respect. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, however, they didn't linger too close to Thomas. Both had only recently graduated from college and were thrilled to be acting alongside him. But they had heard rumors of a previous actress who had tried to get close to Thomas, only to be replaced, and this made them wary. So, the two new actresses didn't dare to be too enthusiastic and kept their distance. Lily responded to their greeting gently, while Thomas simply nodded in acknowledgment. "Let's start positioning," the director called, signaling the beginning of the preparations. The actors moved around, finding their spots and getting into character, while the extras cooperated eagerly. After a few rounds through the scene, as the crew was preparing for the filming to begin, Lily's assistant approached the director with a smile. "Mr. Reid, those three girls are standing too close to Lily," she said. "Their position might affect her, so could you move them?" Mr. Reid looked at the three girls through the monitor. They were all attractive, but the one in the middle, in particular, caught his attention. There was a slight resemblance to Thomas in her appearance, and as she stood in the frame with Lily, she seemed to almost overshadow her. Understanding Lily's concerns, Mr. Reid nodded, signaling for his assistant to relay the message to the production manager. "This is how filming goes," Dora muttered, clearly losing interest now that the initial excitement had worn off. "My idol is so handsome," Evelyn said, her voice filled with admiration as she gazed at Thomas. "I'm going to ask him for an autograph later." However, her daydreaming was interrupted when a production assistant approached the trio. "You three, don't stand here. Go over there," he ordered, pointing to a spot farther away. Evelyn, who had been so absorbed in her thoughts, snapped back to reality at once. "Why?" she asked. She didn't want to move without a valid reason. Dora, too, was puzzled. "Is there a problem with standing here?" The production manager, clearly growing impatient, shot back. "Just listen to instructions and stop with the nonsense." His dismissive attitude only fueled Evelyn's temper. She gazed at the production manager coldly. "If you don't give me a satisfactory explanation, I'm not moving." The tense exchange quickly drew the attention of those nearby. Thomas, who had been rehearsing lines with Lily, heard the commotion. He turned around and saw the confrontation between the production manager and Seraphina.
