The Apocalypse Wolf Queen
Third-person POV: After Thora finished speaking, she turned and immediately got to work, starting to dismantle the bomb embedded inside. Shirley stood frozen in place, then a smile appeared on her face. However, this smile carried a strange, dark aura. ... At the top of Astralis College's tower. The young man in the academy uniform easily leaped down from above. "Boss." Alissa and Sharkie, both in camouflage combat gear, called out in unison. Lance tore off the fake skin mask stuck to his face and removed the black contact lenses. He ripped open his shirt, revealing full military combat gear underneath. His knee-high combat boots hit the ground with steady force, radiating cold menace. Lance looked down at the students organizing evacuations and gathering below, his eyes narrowing. "Someone's commanding their movements?" Alissa stepped forward and looked at the scene below. "Looks like it's a male student." "They've avoided every single location where we planted bombs. You're telling me that's a coincidence?" Lance said coldly. Alissa frowned. "Impossible. How could they know where we planted the bombs?" With that, Alissa pulled out the remote control and pressed a button. But the expected explosion didn't happen. What she'd remotely triggered was the bomb in the electrical room. Shock crossed all their faces. "Boss, I'll take people to check out what's going on right now!" With that, Alissa immediately left with two mercenaries. Looking at the crowd below, Sharkie raised his hand and made several gestures in the air. The mercenaries hidden in the shadows immediately fired several shots into the crowd. Gunfire rang out, and two people in the crowd immediately fell dead. "Ahhh!" Screams erupted one after another. Sharkie laughed roughly. "Boss, see? Now they're behaving." Lance also smiled, his gaze suddenly shifting outside the academy. Sensing the dense footsteps and armored vehicle engines outside, his smile gradually faded, each word dripping with danger. "Looks like I underestimated the Astralis Empire's military." Lance stretched out his hand. A visible electrical current surged toward Astralis College's main gate. The entire perimeter of the academy was covered with a layer of electricity. Sharkie had long since grown accustomed to Lance's using his abilities. Seeing the military forces closing in from outside, he urgently asked, "Boss! What do we do?" Lance smiled with a rebellious edge, licking his dry lips. "Round up all the students and lock them in one place." "Okay!" Sharkie raised his heavy machine gun and fired a burst into the sky. Immediately, all the mercenaries hidden in the shadows emerged from their hiding spots, raising their guns and completely surrounding the students and teachers. Instantly, no one dared to move. Though they were heirs carefully raised by their families, they were ultimately underage werewolves who'd never experienced such brutal, real combat. The teachers were more inclined toward academics. Facing mercenaries with heavy weapons, even the thought of shifting into wolves was crushed by fear. Their only instinct was to hide. "Ahh!" Seeing these mercenaries with faces covered in camouflage paint, many female students screamed in terror. A mercenary holding the gun immediately fired. The female student was killed instantly. Immediately, everyone stopped moving or screaming, and could only obediently follow these people. ... In another direction, Luke, who was staying with Harvey and the others, clutched his laptop, worry gnawing at his heart. How was Thora doing right now?
