Interstellar Businesswoman Tycoon
When night clocked, Sylvia ate dinner with Asher. And once it was time for bed, she took the little guy to his room, telling him a bedtime story before he finally drifted to sleep. Making sure to close the door gently as she left the room, Sylvia walked in the direction of the virtual cabin room. A few minutes ago, when she was busy telling Asher a bedtime story, a message had popped up from Miley asking them to meet in the virtual net because she was perplexed about what outfit to choose for her dinner night wedding. So, she needs the 'expert' Sylvia to make the decision for her. Sylvia couldn't help but feel that Miley had made the wrong choice by asking her for help. What does a fashion greenhorn like her know about dresses? Even though she was in a dilemma, Sylvia could only agree to Miley's request. Pushing the door open, Sylvia walked towards the cabin pod and opened the lid, climbing into it in one swift movement. The lid gently closed itself, and Sylvia soon felt a slight cold touch against her head. Seconds later, her consciousness began to waver before everything finally went dark. Just as she found herself sinking into a wave of darkness, dense, colorful lights instantly hit her vision, followed by the loud, bustling sound that roared into her eardrums. Sylvia felt her foot on the solid ground and noticed that she was standing in the center of the teleportation circle. She hurriedly stepped out of the circle to prevent herself from being fined when she saw that the ten-second waiting countdown was almost over.Walking into the bustling street, Sylvia pulled up her communication device and contacted Miley. “Hello, where are you? I'm already inside. Please send me your coordinates so I can come to meet you there.” “Wait, I'm at the A-zone. Send me your coordinates; I will come meet you.” Miley knows that Sylvia couldn't yet access the A-zone and asked for her coordinates. “Alright.” Sylvia sent over her location. She didn't wait long before she sighted a familiar figure walking out of the teleportation portal. “Sylvia!” Miley waved her hand in the air as she walked forward. Sylvia waved back and was about to step forward to meet her when she noticed another trail following behind Miley. “President.” Sylvia was surprised to see Tyron tagging along beside Miley. “Hi. How have you been doing?” Tyron smiled in greeting as they arrived before her. “I heard the authority would be leading several students to the wilds for training tomorrow. Make sure to stay safe.” “Yes.” Sylvia nodded. “Okay, enough of the talk.” Miley nudged against Tyron's shoulder when she saw that he was about to continue talking. “Sylvia still needs to have a good night's sleep to prepare for tomorrow's event, so we shouldn't delay her. Let's hurry to the mall and choose my outfits.” “Okay.” The three of them headed to a famous clothing mall and began to look through the dresses. Well, it was just Miley who was busily doing the picking, while the two followers only gave a nod, agreeing on what clothing was good and not. But unlike Tyron, who was constantly nodding to everything, Sylvia was able to discern the outfits that fit Miley perfectly and those that looked bland on her. Apart from her, there was also a certain system that was constantly giving advice in her head. [Host, let's go with this. This looks more beautiful than the latter. The previous dress was made by the famous designer Vixi before he retired, while this dress, themed ‘Radiant Phoenix,’ was designed by--- blah blah blah.] Sylvia's brain couldn't interpret the long narration Susu had just given, but she knew one thing: this 'Radiant Phoenix' dress is the one to be chosen. “I think this one is great.” “I think so too.” Miley gave a happy smile. “We are so like-minded, Sylvia. It's so great to have you here.” Unlike when she was shopping with a certain person. Miley had almost pulled out her hair when faced with Tyron's dull responses. Thankfully, she was smart enough to call Sylvia over, or else she would still be lingering here about what dresses to pick. “I'm glad I can help.” Sylvia accepts the praise without any guilt. Since they've decided on one, the three head over to the counter, where Miley makes the payment for the dress. She put down her house address and was told that the dress would be delivered to her in two days. In the interstellar period, technology is now so advanced that delivery can be made in minutes. However, because the real-life mall was located on a first-rate planet, it will take two days for the shipment flight to arrive at Starry Sky's planet. With nothing else to do, the three left the mall in smiles, with Tyron being the happiest. They were finally done. He just couldn't guess why girls spend a lot of time making decisions while shopping. It's so stressful looking at it from a concerned husband-to-be. “See you next time.” Sylvia bade farewell. “Bye. Say hello to Asher for me.” Miley said. “Sure, I will.” Sylvia nodded to the two before finally logging out of the net. After climbing out of the cabin pod, she headed towards her room, where she began to take a shower in the bathroom. Minutes later, she stepped out of the bathroom, already dressed in her sleepwear. As she lay on the bed, a wave of sleepiness instantly overcame her, causing her to fall into a long, deep sleep. ==== After what seemed like an eternity, in her deep dreams, Sylvia heard a constant shout inside her head. “Hmm.” She swept her hand across her ear sleepily, as if signaling to the mischievous kid to stop disturbing her beautiful night's sleep. [Host! Wake up, host! There's an intruder at the door.] Susu shouted. “Noise, stop it,” Sylvia mumbled out some incoherent words before drifting back to sleep again. Why isn't the host waking up? Susu was currently panicking because no matter how much he called for Sylvia, the latter wouldn't budge from her sleep at all. In the apocalypse era, a pin sound noise would have woken her up from her sleep. But now, she seems to have dropped that vigilance after getting used to the peace of the era. What to do? What to do? There are six people currently outside the house. Two are at the door entrance, trying to pry the door open, while the other four are busily looking for an open window around the house to take advantage of. Surely, these six people didn't come here with good intentions. How can he wake the host up? A thought suddenly flashed across Susu's mind, and he immediately jumped into action. The robot 'Bai', who was put into sleep mode in the living room, suddenly stood up and began to walk up the stairs. Getting to Sylvia's room, the robot walked towards the sleeping figure on the bed and shook her with its cold metallic hand. Feeling the cold touch from her sleep, Sylvia's eyes instantly sprang open. Her eyes darted around vigilantly as she sat upright on the bed. It wasn't until she saw the little robot beside her bed did she showed a look of surprise on her face. [Host! You're awake.] Susu began to speak. [You wouldn't wake up no matter how much I called for you.] Well, it wasn't that Sylvia didn't hear the noise. She just thought that she was dreaming. “What happened?” Sylvia knew that Susu wouldn't have woken her up without a reason. [There's an intruder trying to break into the house.] “What?” Sylvia reacted and jumped down from the bed. “Have you called the cops?” [No. They seem to be using a strong signal jammer, which will take me an hour to hack into. However, by then, those men would have broken into the house.] Sylvia knew that this was a tense situation. She swiftly headed into the dressing room and changed out of her sleepwear, wearing a black sports dress. “What's their strength?” She asked as she opened the door of the room. If she could take them down by herself, that would be much better. [A-rank. There are six of them around the house. I think they might have a knockout drug with them, which might make things a bit complicated.] Susu started to explain. Sylvia's brows furrowed when she heard his full explanation. From Susu's words, those men appear to be targeting their home, as they hadn't infiltrated any other houses in the neighborhood. Just what are they trying to do? Kidnapped her for ransom? Oh, she's the CEO of Creamery Creamer in name, so it's possible that some greedy people might harbor some hidden intentions towards her. Knowing that she couldn't defeat six A-rank men by herself alone, Sylvia knew that the only option was to escape. However, before she could start making her plan, Susu's alarm voice rang inside her head. [Host. They've broken into Asher's bedroom window!] A loud crash broke through the silent night, followed by the piercing cry of a kid.
