Interstellar Businesswoman Tycoon
Unfortunately for Ian, the rare private moment he got to have with Sylvia had to be short-lived. Sylvia's expression appeared remorseful when she saw his current state. Ian tried to assure her that he was okay. However, his[MT1] constrained smile only caused his appearance to become even more distorted. “I… Are you sure you're alright? Do you need me to call the emergency line?” Sylvia stared at his pale face with a worried expression. His current situation didn't look pleasant at all. “No, no, no. It's fine. Everything is okay.” Ian waved his hands in assurance while trying to hold himself back from making another dash to the restroom. “I'm so sorry.” Sylvia lowered her head in apology. “I didn't know that you couldn't handle spicy food.” “It's all right. You don't have to put the blame yourself. It's my fault for not telling you about my preference. Besides, the food was truly great. Your nanny robot is such a great cook.” He complimented. “Do not worry about me. I'll just go to the medical team and ask them for some medication.” Although a bit worried, Sylvia could only escort Ian outside the door. Watching his figure fading into the distance, she walked back inside the house and closed the door behind her. Almost in an instant, her entire demeanor underwent a huge change. Her indifferent eyes seem to be filled with an unusual sense of coldness. 'Come out here now, Susu. Tell me, why did you decide to prepare a spicy dish at the last minute? Were you aware of his inability to take in such food?' Faced with his unusual silence, Sylvia knew that she was spot on. 'You… Gosh, what have you done? Why the hell did you do that?' It was the first time she would ever get angry at Susu. She was truly angered by his actions. [Ho…host.] Susu was too scared to utter any more words when he noticed her livid expression. He was instantly regretting ever pranking Ian.'You see, I don't want to know how he had offended you, but you should know this, Ian is the future king of this planet. If anything were to happen to him on our ground, do you think we would be able to escape the consequences? You went too far this time, Susu.' [I… I'm so sorry, host. *hiccup* I didn't… *hiccup* I didn't… Woo.] The little system was driven to tears. Perhaps because of his constant sobs, Sylvia's anger was instantly diminished. She had always regarded Susu as her closest partner, constantly spoiling him to the extreme. Nonetheless, she still needs to teach him where to draw the line. “Okay, I apologize for getting mad at you. It was just a moment of an outburst.” Sylvia's heart went soft upon listening to his lowly sob. She didn't expect him to have such a huge reaction to her outburst. Hence, feeling a bit guilty, she began to pacify him. While in the act, the doorbell suddenly rang. Sylvia halted her conversation with his and turned around to open the door for the visitor. Seeing that it was Uast standing at the doorstep, she tried to welcome him in. “No, it's fine.” Uast shook his head before saying. “I'm just here to inform you that the welcoming speech ceremony is about to commence. I was wondering if you'd like to tag along with us. And also, thanks so much for the snacks. The others also told me to relay their heartfelt gratitude to you.” “You don't have to be so polite. It's just a bit of a gifts.” Sylvia said, before asking, “Can I bring in my brother and pet along with me?” “Of course, you can.” Uast nodded in answer. “There's no rule banning that. As long as it isn't a dangerous entity.” “Okay, give me a second.” She went back inside the house. When she appeared later, a little boy was standing beside her, along with a white fox cub lying in her embrace. “Let's get going.”Sylvia followed behind Uast. On the road, she tries to start a conversation with Susu but it looks like he is still in a sad state. She could only let out a sigh and wait for him to get over his mood. Arriving at the spot where Urea and the others were gathered, Sylvia was greeted with a warm welcome. By now, they were all aware of her identity. Although most of them were taken aback by the shocking news, that didn't affect their goodwill towards her. Urea's eyes became tearful when she saw Sylvia. She felt that the latter was so pitiful, especially having to lose her parents at a young age. To make the situation even more unlucky, the company had to go into bankruptcy. Just how did she cope with only her and her little brother? How hard must their life have been back then? Not wanting anyone to catch up on her sad state, she hurriedly wiped away the tears that were starting to sip from her corner eyes. Luckily, Sylvia didn't notice her sudden melodramatic mood. Or else, she would have told her to start a book series with her wild imaginative thoughts. On their way to the stadium, there were a lot of head turns darted at them. Or let's say, at Sylvia especially. “Wow. Is she Sylvia Austen? The true owner of Creamery Creamer?” “Her appearance matched the picture uploaded on the net. So, it's definitely her.” “Isn't she the one who purchased the newly released RAFA mobile home? Now that I look at it from a new perspective, I think the RAFA mobile home is too beneath her. With her current estimate, she could purchase the whole company and make it her playing toy.” RAFA's Company CEO: ರ╭╮ರ Of course, we know that we can't compare to the big boss. But can you please not classify us as a toy? We also have an image to protect, you know. ತ_ತ.The murmuring continued. “I heard that she has a B-rank beast king as her contracted beast. How true is this rumor?” “Of course, it's not a rumor. I was there live during the interschool final match. She defeated her Roland Academy opponent with just a single move. Don't you think her character is the same as the rich and powerful girl you can only find on TV shows?” “You're right about that. She's at a height we cannot attain.” Unknown to the discussing students, following behind them was a group of girls who were listening to their excited chatters. The expression on one of the girl's faces kept changing as she listened to their conversation. She couldn't help but settle her gaze on Sylvia, who was walking with some students in the distance. “Ms. Charvi.” A girl behind Charvi tapped her on the shoulder, seeing that they'd been standing in the same spot for a while now. “Let's go.” Charvi's expression reverted to normal, and she continued walking. A mocking sneer appeared on Aviva's face when she witnessed this scene. Although she had always disliked Sylvia, she couldn't help but appreciate the latter for letting her see such an intense reaction on Charvi's face. … The stadium ground was massively built, spanning several thousands of hectares. Stationed at the entrances, were the security robots who kept scanning the students one by one for any unwanted or banned materials. Some students were caught hiding some snacks in their clothes which were immediately seized by the robots. “No. Not my popcorn. You said nutrient solutions aren't allowed. How does seizing my popcorn relate to it.” One of the students began to argue with the security robots.because of the Environmental Protocol Act. In the year…> Hearing the robot's continuous chatter, the nearby students began to give the poor guy a pitiful look. Haven't you heard of the unspoken rule, never to argue with the security robot on the stadium ground? Unless you want to listen to a long boring conversation dated to the historical age, then you should never argue with those robots. “Ha-ha. What a fool he is. Does he think he can win against those robots by arguing with them?” Urea shook her head, feeling that the student had made a gruesome mistake. “He should be a newbie who thought he could argue his way in. Any sensible person should know that snacks are also classified as food.” After scanning that Lis wasn't a dangerous beast, their group was let inside. Uast led the way, bringing them to look for some empty seats. Catching sight of some empty spots that hadn't been taken by people, they all head towards it. “There are so many people here, sister,” Asher muttered to Sylvia in a low voice as he took his seat. There was a bit of sparkle in his eyes when he looked at the intense crowd before him. Sylvia lowered her head and asked, “Are you afraid?” “A little bit.” The little guy gently answered. “Then lean on me, okay? You won't be afraid that way.” She pulled his body closer to hers. … In waves, students entered the stadium. The loud noise across the area was overwhelming, yet it brought some sort of liveliness to the whole place. Sanchez was the first to initiate the conversation, “What do you think this year's summer camp activities would be based on?” “Who knows? It always kept changing like the weather.” The female student seated beside him answered. Just then, a group of girls walked towards the empty seats in front of them and filled them up. “Whoa.” A boy seated not far away from Sylvia let out a low exclaim before turning to look at his buddy. “Look at that girl. She's so pretty.” “Yes, she is. But knock out any intrusive thoughts in your head. There's no way a girl like her would be interested in someone like you.” His buddy shook him away with a shrug of the shoulder. “Are you trying to say that I'm not charming enough? Then watch me make my move.” While adjusting his clothes, the boy cleared his throat and was about to say hello to the beautiful girl. But as if she was aware of his intention all along, the beautiful girl turned her head around and greeted him with the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. “Hello.” “Ah- He- hello.” In stammer, he struggled to give a fluent reply to her greeting. He couldn't help but feel embarrassed at his sudden stutter. Just as he was about to explain himself, the girl suddenly shifted her gaze away from him, looking somewhere to the side. “It's been a long time, Sylvia.” The smile in the girl’s eyes thickened as she looked in Sylvia's direction. Hearing her name being called, Sylvia turned her head sideways, her gaze meeting the foreign, yet somewhat familiar face before her. She immediately assumed that this must be someone known from the previous 'Sylvia' memory. Although Susu had imparted 'her' memories to her, she hadn't bothered to assimilate them since she wasn't used to having foreign thoughts pop into her head.“You are?"
