The Despised Luna's Comeback

Chapter 660 You Started It

On the plane, I felt a bit bored. I originally wanted to take a rest, but when I turned to look at Caden working on his laptop, I cautiously leaned over. There were indeed some documents waiting to be processed, so I simply rested my head on Caden's arm, lazily watching the computer screen. Caden didn't react much and didn't stop working because of my actions. I fiddled with the cuff of his sleeve. After idly twisting it a few times, my fingertips had already moved from his cuff to the back of his hand. Glancing at me, Caden helplessly hooked my chin, as if teasing a clingy cat. "Bored?" "Just keep doing your work. Don't mind me." Seeing how focused and busy Caden looked, I couldn't help but feel a little mischievous. Caden's eyes flickered slightly, and he really did continue working just like I said. I grinned playfully, glanced around, adjusted my seatbelt, sat up a bit straighter, and moved my cheek closer to Caden. "Caden?" I spoke cheerfully and blew lightly in his ear. Caden remained unmoved. I curled my lips mischievously, wondering what else I could do to tease him. At this moment, the plane suddenly hit a small bump, causing me to fall straight onto Caden. My hands pressed against his chest, and his clear, strong heartbeat pounded steadily against my palms through his skin. The plane's announcement sounded, explaining that the bump was due to turbulence. After a while, the plane returned to a smooth flight. "Was that you throwing yourself into my arms?" Caden lowered his head to look at me, his voice low and hoarse. My face flushed. I tried to sit up, but Caden's hand firmly held my waist, not letting me move, pressing me directly against his chest. "Stop messing around." I huffed lightly and looked around nervously. "Kiss me and I'll let go," Caden whispered with a smile next to my ear.Just then, the werewolf flight attendant walked by, and I stiffened, burying myself in Caden's arms. But the passing werewolf flight attendant saw the scene and lowered her head to softly ask if there was anything wrong with my body. I was too embarrassed to respond, just lying on him in silence, while Caden remained calm and looked like he was about to say something. Afraid he'd say something reckless, I secretly pinched his waist. "It's nothing." Caden shook his head. I was extremely embarrassed and tried to move carefully in his arms, but Caden pressed his hand down even more. I thought the flight attendant hadn't left yet, so I gripped Caden's waist tighter and whispered, "Is she still here?" Caden replied, "She is." My waist was getting sore, and I silently blamed the werewolf flight attendant for still standing there. "Why hasn't she left ... " I gritted my teeth, and the next second, I heard Caden's low chuckle above my head. I froze, then realized Caden was messing with me, and quickly sat up straight. "Caden!" I looked at him with a playful pout. Caden lowered his head and kissed my lips. "You're the one who started it. Now you're embarrassed?" I pouted and huffed lightly, sitting upright again. "I'm ignoring you." Caden reached out and brushed his fingers across my soft cheek. "You're bored now. Weren't you the one who wanted to buy the tickets?" Hearing that, I rolled my eyes. "What? Are you complaining now?" He picked up a strand of my long hair with his fingers, playing with it, his eyes full of tenderness. "How would I dare ... " My heart was filled with sweetness as I gazed into Caden's affectionate eyes. I couldn't help but kiss his cheek, joy bubbling inside me. ...After getting off the plane, Caden had already arranged for someone to pick us up. Since I was thinking about work, I asked the driver to take me back to Starplay Entertainment. "I'll come pick you up tonight," Caden gently reminded me before leaving. I nodded at him and was just about to get out of the car when Caden reached out and pulled me into his arms. "What's wrong?" I was startled and looked at Caden in confusion. He tilted his chin toward the outside of the car, his brows slightly furrowed. Following the direction he pointed, I looked over—and was instantly shocked. In front of the company entrance was a crowd of media reporters. They were all staring into the building, seemingly waiting for something. It's not unusual for media to appear at the entrance of an entertainment company, but I had never seen this many before. I had already asked the company to remove the trending topics and suppress the buzz yesterday on the plane. I didn't expect these people to still be here waiting. "It's nothing, just the media." I patted Caden's hand. I could still handle some reporters. After sending a message on my phone, I got out of the car. "Goodbye. Remember to miss me." I blew a playful kiss at Caden and winked, then turned to leave. I didn't attempt to avoid the media, so as soon as I walked over, they immediately surrounded me. Ever since my sensational engagement with Caden, I hadn't appeared in public again. Now that they saw me here, the reporters' eyes were filled with eager anticipation.
