Alpha Raelyn: The Alpha They Never Saw Coming

Chapter 16 Obsessive Fan Abduction

I heard the name Adam, and it was enough to confirm that the female werewolf inside was most likely one of Adam's obsessive fans. "Mmph…" A weak grunt came from inside the room. Judging by the sounds, there were about three werewolves in total; two males and one female. "Go in," I said coldly. The werewolf bodyguard got the order and kicked the door open. The female werewolf's laughter abruptly stopped. When she saw me standing at the doorway, her expression turned sour. "And who the hell are you? You think you can ruin my moment?" I lifted my gaze and said coldly, "You really dared to touch someone under Eclipse Pack's protection?" Seeing my composed and authoritative presence, one of the male werewolves behind the crazed fan began to stutter, "I-I think that's Eclipse Pack's heir–Aiden!" The bodyguards behind me stepped forward in unison. Compared to their size and strength, the two werewolves standing behind the crazed fan looked as fragile as chicks. I waved my hand. My Beta gave a command, and the three werewolves were quickly subdued. The crazed female fan who had been acting maniacal a moment ago collapsed at my feet, shaking all over. "I'm sorry… I just lost control…" I kicked her aside. "Enjoy your time in werewolf prison." The other two werewolves dropped to their knees with a thud and started banging their heads against the floor. "We're sorry! We didn't know who she was–we had no idea she was Ms. Beck! Please spare us!" "Take it up with the werewolf police," I said coldly. I ignored their pleas and picked Raelyn up off the floor. Just then, police sirens echoed from outside. The three werewolves slumped to the ground in defeat, their faces pale. After the werewolf officers hauled them away, Adrian rushed in, clearly late. "That Omega is nothing but trouble. I swear she's doing it on purpose just to mess with us," Adrian grumbled bitterly.I knew he was just worried about getting scolded by the Alpha later, so I said coldly, "Enough, Adrian. Just help get her to the hospital." "Take her yourself. I'm out of here." With that, Adrian stormed off. I looked down at Raelyn in my arms, her face twisted in pain, her body covered in bruises. I carried her to the hospital. Thanks to my connection with Andrix, I took her straight to his office. After a thorough check, Andrix frowned. "What's wrong? Is it serious?" I asked, watching Raelyn curled up in pain, worry spreading across my face. "She took multiple blows to the body and has a mild concussion," Andrix said, then cleared his throat. "Also, she's on her period and has a cold uterus. That's why she's in so much pain." The moment he mentioned her period, my ears went hot. I took a second to compose myself before asking, "Is there anything that could ease her pain?" Andrix shoved his hands into his coat pockets and shrugged. "Not really. She just has to tough it out. I've got a surgery to do, so you stay with her. Make sure to handle the admission paperwork later. She's an Omega–these injuries won't heal overnight." He pushed the door open and left. The room fell into silence. "Water…" Raelyn slowly opened her eyes. Holding her stomach in pain, her voice was weak. "I need some water." "Here." I handed her a cup of warm water, then noticed the sweat on her forehead and passed her a tissue. "Thanks. No wonder I like you–you're surprisingly attentive." Even though she could barely stand the pain, she still had the nerve to tease me. I blinked, then frowned. "Ms. Beck, I've made my stance clear before. I hope you won't keep joking like that." "Don't be so serious. You're no fun," she said softly. "I don't like jokes," I replied coldly. Raelyn's POV I pursed my lips and lowered my head, sipping water slowly. Aiden's phone rang. After answering, he stood up and said flatly, "I've got something to handle. I'll take care of your admission later. Rest well." "Got it." I nodded. As soon as Aiden left, my phone rang. "Raelyn, are you okay? I heard you were hospitalized," Jackson's voice sounded tense and worried. I was surprised. "How did you know?" "It's all over the internet. Haven't you seen it? You got abducted by one of Adam's fans, Aiden rescued you and carried you to the hospital. The paparazzi caught everything. The news is going wild." I pulled up the headlines, and sure enough, the top three trending topics were all about this. Stuff like "Eclipse Pack's heir cares deeply for fiancée Raelyn, romance brewing between the two…" "Have someone take down the trending posts. You'll be running the company for the next few days. Call me if anything comes up," I said with a sigh. "Got it, Raelyn," Jackson replied, then added bitterly, "By the way, I've already taken care of the fan. She's never getting out of prison." I hummed in response, but something didn't sit right in my gut. "Oh, and Eclipse Corporation wants to collaborate with us. The profits look good, but there's a condition. They want to meet the CEO of Bluewater Corporation." I frowned. "They insist on meeting me?" "I know it's not convenient for you, so I turned down the deal. Told them maybe next time." "Good." I hung up and smirked. Want to meet me? Aiden, we've got all the time in the world.
