Alpha Raelyn: The Alpha They Never Saw Coming
Alex froze for a moment and gave an awkward smile. "No, thanks." Once we arrived at Eclipse Corporation, Alex buried himself in work and left me to the side. I didn't mind the break, so I wandered off to the security booth and spent the day chatting with Thomas. The day passed like that. On the third day, it was the third son, Adam Salvatore, who kept me company. Adam was the biggest star in the werewolf entertainment industry, with tens of millions of fans. Coincidentally, today was not only his birthday but also the tenth anniversary of his debut. Adam spent the whole day rehearsing for his concert that evening. He didn't have time for me at all. So once again, I was left on my own. Later in the afternoon, Taylor arrived at the Eclipse Pack's villa. She said the five brothers were going to attend Adam's concert together. After taking a nap, I came downstairs and ran into Taylor. She smiled as she walked toward me. "Raelyn, we're planning to stop by the mall to pick out some outfits and find a gift for Adam. Want to come along?" I'd had a few slow days already and was starting to get bored, so I agreed. We all headed to the mall together. Taylor pulled me into a high-end women's boutique. "Raelyn, you're so pretty. You'd look amazing in a dress." All four of the Eclipse brothers waited outside the store. Taylor glanced at them, then picked up a dark green dress from a rack. "This one's nice. Want to try it on?" I glanced at the dress–it looked outdated and matronly. Seeing I didn't respond, Taylor picked up another one. "How about this?" This one was overly revealing and baggy. I gave her a small smile and said calmly, "Taylor, if you don't like me, there's no need to pretend. And you don't have to play games like this. I may be from the countryside, but my taste isn't any worse than yours." "Raelyn, are you misunderstanding me..." Taylor's expression stiffened."Am I really misunderstanding you?" I pressed. Taylor didn't respond. She just walked off coldly. I didn't have the time or energy to care about her feelings. I tossed the dress aside and started picking out clothes for myself. Taylor watched from the side, clearly irritated. Meanwhile, I told the store clerks to pack up every dress I liked. Just before it was time to pay, I pulled out my phone to pay at the register–only to see a well-shaped hand pass over a black credit card. "Put it on the card." It was Aiden. The cashier paused for a second, mesmerized by his handsome face, then quickly took the card. "Thanks," I said flatly. Aiden replied coolly, "Don't get the wrong idea. Alpha told me to cover it." With that, he turned and walked away. I was speechless. Was he trying to act cool? "That will be 3.18 million," the cashier said. "Here's your receipt." Taylor's eyes widened in shock. She hadn't expected me to buy so many clothes, or for Aiden to foot the bill. As we left the mall, two werewolf bodyguards struggled under the weight of all the shopping bags. Adrian, walking beside me, spoke with a snide tone. "Some people really have no shame. Spending that much like it's nothing. Must be an Omega from a small town–no manners at all." He was still sore about the time I said he hadn't even grown his fur properly yet. Before I could reply, Taylor suddenly said with fake concern, "Adrian, how can you say that? Raelyn just bought a few outfits, that's all." "3.18 million dollars? That's just a few?" Adrian scoffed. I gave a cold laugh and said dryly, "Was that your card just now?" Adrian stiffened. "It was my brother's!" "Exactly. It was your brother's card. He didn't say anything. So why are you making a fuss?" With that, I got in the car. Behind me, I could hear a few of the brothers laughing mockingly.
