Shining Through the Chaos with My Bulldog
Once Natalie steadied herself, she felt something strange under her feet. It felt hollow, like there was a space beneath the deck. She stomped twice and asked, confused, "What's under here? "Don't tell me there's a hidden compartment in the deck too?" Cassian explained calmly, "It's an electric deck panel. When it opens, there's a pool underneath." "An open-air pool on the deck?" Natalie raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure this is a yacht and not a cruise ship?" Cassian smiled and said, "It's definitely a yacht." Natalie sighed in amazement and kept walking toward the back along the side walkway. The walkways on both sides of the yacht were very wide. Even Lucky, who was on the heavier side, didn't feel cramped at all. At the stern, a large U-shaped couch filled the leisure area. Natalie estimated it could easily seat more than ten people. There was also a long table, a small bar cabinet, speakers, and all kinds of entertainment equipment. It was perfect for a party at sea. Behind that was a small boat garage. Inside were a compact lifeboat and full rescue gear. Everything was well prepared. Nodding in satisfaction, Natalie stepped into the cabin. The first thing she saw was a bright, spacious main living room. There was an L-shaped couch, a luxury stone coffee table, and a huge TV screen. Off to the side sat a real leather massage chair. It wasn't as over-the-top as Villa 1, but it was far more luxurious than an ordinary living room. Past the lounge was a dining area with a long table that could seat ten people. The cabinets on both sides were made from fine dark walnut wood, with brown glass panels set into the center. Natalie could already picture how beautiful it would look once high-end dinnerware was displayed inside. Farther in was a large, fully equipped kitchen, along with a small restroom. Everything you could need was here. Going down to the lower deck, they reached the main bedroom. The bedding was top quality, and the side window was huge. Once the yacht was on the water, the ocean would be right outside—a true luxury sea-view room. There was also a walk-in closet and a private bathroom. This bathroom was much larger than the one upstairs. It even had a massage bathtub. Besides the main bedroom, the yacht had four more guest rooms. Two had large beds, and two had twin beds. Each room was comfortable and came with its own small bathroom. And that wasn't all. There was also a compact gym, a game room, and a private theater room. Natalie couldn't help but sigh. "With this yacht and everything in the storage space, we could live out on the ocean and avoid the world." Cassian curved his lips slightly. "If you want to, we can do that anytime." Natalie thought about it, then shook her head. "Nah. It sounds a little lonely." Cassian raised an eyebrow. "Lonely even with me?" She teased him on purpose. "You're not my whole world." The air beside her instantly felt colder. She quickly added, "I mean, there's Olivia, Harold, and Ghania too. And what about Roderick? You're just never going to see him again in this lifetime?"Cassian pinched her cheek. "Talk less. Talk too much and you'll get smacked." Natalie rolled her eyes. "You wouldn't dare. Not in a million years." Chatting as they walked, the two of them arrived at the indoor control area. There were two generators, two gyroscopes, and two seawater desalination units. Natalie touched this and that, then stopped in front of the control panel. Aside from the steering wheel, the rest of the buttons were packed together in a dizzying mess. She didn't understand any of them. She turned to Cassian and asked, "You know how to drive this thing, right?" Cassian thought for a moment. "Mostly. I know all the basic controls. The complicated stuff, I can figure out slowly." Natalie nodded. Good enough. Cars were her job. Planes and ships could be handled by the man of the house. The three little ones had already gotten bored inside and rushed up to the top deck. Natalie and Cassian followed at an easy pace and reached the outdoor bridge on the highest level. Besides the open-air control seat, there was also a large lounge area for parties. A warm scene appeared in Natalie's mind. Cassian was steering the yacht. She was leaning against the bar, sipping red wine and chatting with him. Lucky was paddling happily in the open-air pool. Baron and Cash were lying on the deck, soaking up the sun. Oh wow. This was way too perfect. This wasn't just a yacht. It was a floating villa. Their warm home on the sea. The total area of the yacht was so huge that just walking through all the rooms took them a long time. Even though Natalie had grown up in a wealthy family, this level of luxury was still a first for her.It also made her realize, once again, the difference between being rich and being insanely rich. Jacob owned a yacht too. When his family went on seaside vacations, they often traveled by yacht. But normal wealthy families bought small yachts, just enough for trips with family and friends. Who would go as far as Cassian and buy something this outrageous? After finishing the tour, Natalie stored the yacht in her storage space.
