Hunter’s P.O.V. I decided to take only my Mates with me into the office, but Max, Matt and Victor had insisted on staying outside the door and I had reluctantly agreed to their demand. I know that I will be safe with my Mates close by and I have a feeling that both Quinten and Frank won’t let anything happen to me either. I talked to Uncle Todd about the position of Gamma that will be opening up here and he had told me that he wanted to stay here, despite the way Frank had treated them. He understood where Quinten and Frank had come from and why they hadn’t told him. The less people had known about their plan the better it had been to convince his Mate and her Brothers and even though I agree with Uncle Todd I still don’t like the fact they were kept from their family, but then again Quinten was right Uncle Drake would have known. Everyone is already waiting in the Alpha office for us and to my surprise Frank’s Mate is present as well. She had struck me as the kind of Luna I dislike, the one that thinks she is better than others and would never sit in on a meeting. Jax’s P.O.V. With my hand on her lower back I guide our Princess into the Alpha office and I see Luna Ellen sitting on a couch, looking rather bored. The looks she gives her Brothers tells me they are the ones that told her to attend the meeting and that she didn’t agree with them. Frank introduces Hunter to his Beta and Gamma, after which he introduces all of us to his Luna. She just nods her head at us as she keeps her eyes on Jayce and I hear him growl through the mind-link. He really doesn’t like the way she looks at him. “Luna Ellen, I suggest you keep that look for your Mate. Prince Jayce is only interested in his fated Mate and I know that you are not that female.” Hunter says and I see a smile appear on Luna Ellen’s face. “How would you know that, little Pup?” She asks Hunter. “First of all, you are marked by Alpha Frank and second of all, he has already found her.” Hunter states matter-of-factly. Shocking everyone in the room, including the four of us. “However, I am not here to discuss Prince Jayce’s private life. I am here for two reasons and I will explain them both to you. I have started my Law studies recently and I have already found a few things we have all forgotten about. As a Royal and a Princess I can change Laws if that is necessary and my Mother’s family is aware of that.” She says and explains to them why their Pack had been chosen for a visit, that she will make sure that if the succession Law was broken they would bear the consequences. “My Mate didn’t break any Laws, he just didn’t want a tainted bloodline helping him rule his Pack.” Luna Ellen replies. Her Brothers are staring daggers at Hunter and I am glad that she is sitting between Jayce and Justin. Jason gives the Beta and Gamma a murderous look as he is standing behind Hunter, but from my spot in the office I can see that she is not very impressed with any of them. “Luna Ellen, I didn’t say that he had broken a Law. I said if he did he would bear the consequences. My other reason for being here has to do with Aunt Sasha and Uncle Todd, I was informed they are not allowed to leave the Pack for whatever reason and I will find out what the reason for that is. If it is an illegitimate reason I will take action accordingly.” She responds and I have to stifle a smile at the formal tone she uses. “If I ever need a Lawyer I know who I want to represent me and I hope I will never have to face her as a Lawyer, she will bury me.” I say to my Brothers through the mind-link. Quinten gives her a rather lame excuses as to why they are not allowed to leave and she accepts it a bit reluctantly as we already know the truth. She orders Alpha Frank to gather the Pack at three o’clock so she can address them on the reason for our visit and I see worried looks on the faces of Ellen and her Brothers, “You scare the shit out of them, Princess.” Jason states through the mind-link. Without saying another word Hunter gets up and we all walk out of the Alpha office, heading back upstairs with Max, Matt and Victor on our tails. I hope Ella and Emma found what our little Mate needs to uphold the Law, even though the Elders already gave her permission to take down Ellen and her Brothers. Ellen’s P.O.V. Once the little brat is out of the office I link my Brothers and tell them to meet me at our usual spot as soon as they can, I know they won’t waste a minute to get there. I tell Frank I am going for a walk because I need some fresh air and he tells me not to wander off to far. The bloody idiot doesn’t even realize that I hate his guts, the only good thing he ever gave me is our Son and he is my ticket to taking over this Pack. Dad had been trying for years to come up with a plan to take this Pack away from Quinten, but he never found the right plan. That was until the day Frank visited the Pack we were living in after Quinten had banished Dad, he had told our Alpha about his future Beta being from a tainted bloodline and the four of us had hatched the perfect plan to take this Pack away from them. Dad has never visited us here because of Quinten, he will recognize Dad the second he lays eyes on him and that is something that can’t happen. We have made up excuse after excuse as to why Dad can’t visit us and so far Quinten has accepted them all. It only takes my Brothers minutes to meet up with me and both of them know that we have to figure out what that little brat can do if she finds my Mate has broken any Laws. Mac is on his phone and when I ask him what he is doing he explains that he is looking through the digital Library to find anything on the succession Law.Mac can be smart and useful at times, but he is more useful as brute force and the same goes for Paul. Dad and I are the ones with the brains in the family and we have been pulling the strings on this operation. I want Dad to take his rightful place as Alpha of Three Mountain Pack and I will do everything I can to help him get it. Paul asks me what we will do if they take the title away from Frank or if the family gets striped of their Alpha line. Damn, most of the time all he says is idiotic but this time he might have a point and I decide to call Dad for advice. Mac has finally found what he was looking for and tells us how a Pack’s Hierarchy is stated by Law. Frank appointing Mac and Paul as his Beta and Gamma is not in there and I didn’t even know a Pack had one or more Deltas or what their position entails. After he has read everything out loud I know that Frank either doesn’t know about Deltas or he kept it from us. Paul tells me that he was never introduced to any Delta, so I figure this Pack just doesn’t have a Delta and that gives me one thing less to worry about. Frank banned his members from training as Paul convinced him it was not necessary, after all with the three of them this was a strong Pack. That is what we used as an argument to convince him and he fell for it hook, line and sinker. Mac explains that if the Princess brat can find enough evidence she can put Frank on trial for not following the Law and that there are a lot of punishments for the crime, but that stripping him of his title is an option. Dad tells me to speed up our plan as we don’t know what that Princess brat can or will do and we can’t risk losing everything we worked for. Our Son is nowhere near the age to take over the Pack from Frank and chances are that Quinten will run the Pack until he is old enough. He will probably reinstate a few things we convinced Frank to drop and if he reinstates training for the Pack-members we will never be able to overthrow him. I tell Dad that I will start on it immediately before I disconnect the call and turn towards my Brothers. “We will speed up the plan, we need to make sure that they are weakened enough before they can take Frank to trial. Paul, get me the stuff Dad told you about and I need you to stay close to Frank and Quinten, Mac.” I say before we all head back to the Pack-house using different routes. As I approach the Pack-house I see Frank arguing with Quinten and I quietly laugh to myself as I realize Quinten is lecturing him again, something Frank really hates. I know I will hear all about it tonight and I will play my part as a concerned Mate.
