Alpha Amarath
Ella’s P.O.V. Ever since Hunter asked us to join her on her travels, Emma and I have made sure to keep up with our classes and I am glad Hunter suggested we finish our first classes on the drive over to Three Mountain Pack. Our books are the re-prints of the book Hunter has and we have found no difference in the book on “Pack Hierarchy and Succession”. However we did find a difference in our books on “Conspiracy” and I know Hunter is going to have fun with this one. Not only here at Three Mountain Pack but also with the Elders, but we need to find out which Elder would have gained something by removing certain information and Emma is currently searching the digital Library to find any information she can. I am looking into the Elders background to see who and why this book was re-printed. Luckily the three Elder principal has never changed over the centuries and when I called Elder Matthew he didn’t have to contact anyone else to give us permission to handle it. For a conspiracy to be proven you don’t need much if you have a Lycan or Werewolf that overheard the conversation and Jayce explaining everything he heard to Elder Matthew and the other two Elders was enough for them to allow Hunter to handle this. Taking into consideration what Frank and Alpha Quinten told her and Jayce’s statement, she has everything she needs to take down Ellen, Mac and Paul. I know that she will enjoy this very much and I make notes on the punishments she can give them. Once Hunter returns from her meeting I tell her the difference between our books, “Your book has a very interesting option when it comes to determining their punishment and I think you will enjoy it very much, but you need to know that that option is missing from our books.” She listens to me as I explain the missing chapter from our book and the grin on her face grows the more I tell her. Emma was able to find out why it was missing, but that the missing information was not as difficult to find as the trial-period. We all head downstairs for lunch after we have discussed everything we got and Hunter told Sasha and Todd to join us as Ellen, Mac and Paul are aware of the fact that they are related. All of us walking down the stairs with four Pups in our midst is very noisy, but I enjoy the chatter around me. Justin’s P.O.V. Hunter doesn’t tell us what Emma and Ella uncovered and I have a feeling she is going to surprise the hell out of all of us. Having seen her in action once before I know that they have found something that is probably forgotten by most of us and will be the perfect solution for this situation.Pops is carrying Benjamin while Papa is carrying June as we head to the dining room for lunch, Jayce is talking with Uncle Todd and Max about Uncle Drake and the first time meeting Hunter. Of course he doesn’t leave out her conversation with Alpha Gary. Suddenly I hear her mutter “Fuck, I forgot about him” making all of us looking at her as we enter the dining room. Jason asks her what she means and as she turns towards him she says, “I forgot I had him thrown into the Palace dungeons and I haven’t dealt with his punishment yet.” Emma and Ella are laughing their asses off as the rest of us stare at her and I realize suddenly why she never dealt with him, she left in the middle of the night. Victor has his phone to his ear and after a minute he turns to Hunter with a grin on his face, “Gunter just told me he is still in the dungeons. No one has been there to see him, except for the Guard that brings him his meals and according to Gunter he isn’t handling his imprisonment well. He looks a bit pale and he hasn’t been the pain he was the first few days.” Hunter takes the phone from Victor and tells Gunter to release the idiot with a warning that if he ever talks to her like that again she will have his head, after which she disconnects the call. Uncle Luke’s men have placed a few tables together to allow us to sit near each other. I follow Hunter to the buffet and just as we get there Ellen steps next to her and holds out a small plate like the one she is holding herself. Hunter looks at the plate as I grab two large plates and hold one in front of Hunter, “At least someone understands I don’t need to walk a marathon for my food.” She mumbles. “Your Highness, why take a big plate if it can fit on a small plate just fine?” Ellen asks and instead of answering her Hunter start piling food on her plate, making me chuckle as it gets bigger by the second. Ellen is staring at her plate and I tell her she will finish it and go for seconds, making Ellen’s jaw drop. Everyone that has never seen our Princess eat stares at her plate and when Uncle Todd tries to take a sausage of it she smacks him on his hand, while telling him to get his own food. She digs in while she listens to June telling her that she never ate here before. John is at the buffet with Peter and Cara when Paul shows up, “What the fuck are you two doing here? Go home, you are not allowed in the Pack-house.” He yells at them and John quickly steps between Paul and the Pups as he growls at him. “They are here at the request of Princess Hunter and unless you want her to throw you in the dungeons at the Palace, I suggest you back the hell off.” Ella growls at him while Max is standing behind her, giving Paul a murderous look. As the three of them are standing between Paul and the Pups Emma makes sure their plates get filled and she guides them back to our tables. Jax asks June what she wants to eat, while Pops asks Benjamin the same question and the two of them get food for all four of them. Ellen is finally pulling Paul away from the buffet and I can see she is talking to him through the mind-link, not that he is liking what she is saying to him. We don’t let it bother us much and it seems as if Peter and Cara have already forgotten it. “Prince Justin, do you have a Mate?” June asks and for a second I don’t know how to answer it, but with Max nearby I don’t have to worry about it either. “Yeah, he does. He doesn’t tell anyone because she scares the shit out of him.” Max says teasingly while he winks at me and I can’t help but laugh. Peter looks at Max as he says, “She scares the shit out of me too.” Daphne bursts out in laughter and I hear Hunter giggle as she keeps her face down towards her plate. Max and I just stare at one and other until we hear her whisper, “He knows.” Cara and Peter both smile at me and I guess she told both of them that we are her Mates. Peter quickly asks Hunter if they can visit us at the Palace and I am grateful for the distraction it causes as June starts yelling “Can we.. Can we..” This time I am the one to answer, “Of course you can. We will discuss with your Mom and Dad when will be the best time and I know you will enjoy your stay at the Palace. I think Mom would like to see her Nieces and Nephews, just as much as Dad will.” Hunter explains to them how they are related and Benjamin smiles widely at the prospect of going to the Palace. June asks if she will have to wear a Princess dress and Max asks her what else she wants to wear at a Palace, making Cara and June giggle. They start talking what their dress should look like and I can see that Papa is paying attention to every detail, he will make sure they both have a Princess dress to wear. Hunter is telling Peter about the gardens, while Benjamin asks Jason about the dungeons. Soon all four Pups are asking questions regarding the Palace and what it is like living there, lunch passes quickly as they fire one question after another at us. Things that are normal to me and my Brothers strike them as odd and I have to chuckle a few times at the look on their faces. Hunter tells them how difficult it was for her getting used to living at the Palace and that there are still things she will never get used to. She tells them that people bow at her, something she is still not comfortable with and that they always use her title. Being raised by a single Mom Hunter always did everything herself and she still does it if she can get away with it. “Martha is our cook and she doesn’t like it when I come into the kitchen to get my own coffee or bring in dishes. She always tells me that it is her job, but doing those things myself won’t kill me and it gives her time to do something else. Not that she will ever agree with me, not even after I threatened to send her on retirement.” Jax bursts out in laughter and tells us he had been there when it happened. I can only imagine the look on Martha’s face or what her response was to Hunter’s threat, Martha has been with our family for a very long time and I hope she will be there to see our Pups grow up. To teach them how to be helpful around the kitchen and how to treat a female or their Mate. Our parents weren’t the only ones to tell us what they expected of us in regards to females or our Mates.
