If It's Not Me
Ingrid stared closely at the four words—The Post of Hades—her eyebrows furrowed together. She had no idea what it was. However, intuition told her that it was something perilous. "In three days, the Murphys will vanish?" Her eyes wandered around as she pondered on those words before she decided to call Samuel. After Samuel had learned that Daniel had gone to pay Ingrid a visit alongside the message he had left, Samuels' face was filled with disdain as he retorted, "He wants to destroy my family in three days? How arrogant. I'd like to see how he plans to destroy the Murphys!" It was evident that he did not take Daniel's words to heart at all; Samuel didn't even bother listening to what she said. Ingrid, who knew how the Murphys had sent someone to attack Janice, asked, "What about the group Selena sent? Is there any news on them?" "Nope. They're just a bunch of thugs. They should all be killed by Daniel." Samuel did not bat an eyelid at the deaths of those he considered insignificant. "And my sister did not leave any evidence. I also heard that this group had some dealings with Daniel during the day. So he would be the first person of interest if they were to look into it." Ingrid's frown deepened when she heard this, and she didn't feel reassured at all. It wasn't Daniel's skills that she was curious about. It was his guts. Killing more than 20 people was no small matter; if it was exposed, even she did not dare to bear the repercussions without damaging her reputation. "What kind of support does Daniel have?" She murmured. "What kind of support can a kid who just got out of prison have? Don't worry, Miss Bregman, as long as he has the courage to show up; I'll make sure he never leaves!" Samuel swore on the other end of the phone. After they hung up the phone, Ingrid still felt something wasn't quite right. "A sword that takes ten years to sharpen would not be yield in anger," she muttered to herself. Then, there was a glimmer of cold light in her eyes. Before long, Daniel, who was standing near the Four Waves Tower, made a phone call to Phantom. Phantom was shocked to learn of the appearance of the post of Hades!!! The post of Hades. As the name suggested, an invitation from Hades was a death's notice. If Hades wanted you dead, no one would dare to challenge otherwise. From the moment Daniel became Hades, he had only sent out five posts. Still, each time, it ended up with a massive blood bath, and he had eliminated countless lives! Moreover, only a few people knew what the post of Hades was. Because no matter where the person who had received the post of Hades tried to hide, they would eventually end up in hell! This undoubtedly showed how powerful Daniel's strength was! It also showed how angry he was about the attack on Janice and her daughter! Phantom asked solemnly, "Boss, do you really need to use the post of Hades to deal with the mere Four Waves Chamber of Commerce?" "That's my business. Investigate the relationship between the Eaglet Project and the Murphy," Daniel said lightly. He had already had a hunch from when the Murphys sent men to attack Janice. Why didn't the Murphys attack him as well? This showed that the Murphys had concerns about him. Recently, Daniel had looked into what the Murphys were involved in. There was no doubt that one of their schemes involved the orphanage up north of the city. So, he put two and two together and assumed that it was most likely that the Murphys had ties with the Eaglet Project and were abducting the children from the orphanage. Therefore, the Murphys must die! As for what Ingrid said, Daniel had to admit that he could not tell whether she was telling the truth or not. This woman was more dangerous and calculative than he thought. "By the way, is there any news of the things I told you to inquire about in the market?" he asked.
