The one Emily showed today! I used to admire him so much because of that design, and it turns out it was all a lie.” Daniel frowned, staring at Bobby. “You tell me, is that true?” Bobby shrank back a little. “Bro, honestly, I don’t know all the details. So, you’re saying Logan was with Emily’s mom, and then Grace stole her design and gave it to Logan?” Bobby nodded. “Yep, that’s exactly what happened.” “But… wasn’t Logan her husband? Why didn’t he just steal it himself? Why involve Grace? That seems unnecessary.” “Hah!” Ken sneered. “Daniel, I get it now.” Daniel asked him, “Then explain it to me.” Ken shoved his hands into his pockets and shot Bobby a glare before saying coldly, “Emily’s adoptive father was married to Grace, right?” Bobby nodded. “Yeah.” “Then it’s simple. Grace married Emily’s adoptive father first, then got involved with Logan. Logan wanted to dump Emily’s mom but didn’t want to lose her talent, so he tricked her into finishing the design. Then Grace stole it. Unless—” “Unless what?” “Unless Emily’s mom died not long after. She never had the chance to defend herself because she never got to see it.” Daniel was stunned. He looked at Bobby, who nodded in silent confirmation, not saying anything else. He didn’t like having a daughter; he thought only sons could be heirs. He had a son, so he didn’t care about his daughter.” Ken was so angry that he kicked the wall. “F.uck him!
