You Were Warned
Parppavar I was shocked when I found out that the Triad Council had shown up. Usually all requests for a Triad summons were sent by an envelope with their seal on it. Without informing me that they were coming, I could only assume that my so called brother, Chaos, must have given them sufficient information to have the highest ranking Triad members to come to my territory. This was on purpose, meant to throw me off. In the hopes they could get the proof they needed. This is another setback to my plans. Ever since the redhead hybrid has emerged from the bowels of existence, I have come across nothing but bad luck. Before the Triad council could see me, I rushed to my Grand Master Mage. Ordering him to make the potion that had always been given to the members of the Triad when they decided to come and visit. This potion was designed for them to believe what came out of my mouth as to be the only truth. With haste I ran to the kitchen placing a drop and each of the drinks that would be offered to them. I continued to drop the potion on the food that would be offered to them as well. After setting up the drinks and food for my unexpected guess I ran to my chambers to freshen up making myself presentable. I needed to appear my best! I may have greeted them accordingly, but in words I was heaving a volcano ready to erupt. The Triad members Justice, Alround and Grimoire had been waiting for me in my personal Grand Hall. Each of them had their eyes set on me. The glares were nothing new to me. I had already known from the very beginning the fools did not like me. They had been waiting for a long time for me to slip up. If they did not follow the laws with such detail they might have caught me in my lies, but the laws had too many ways to manipulate things my way. Each time there was an allegation made, I always found a way to circle things around making the accuser the one that was in the wrong. I placed a grand smile on my face, holding my head high like the goddess that I am. Sitting on my throne. Each time I said their name I would glance at the appropriate individual. “Grand Master Triad Justice, Alround and Grimoire … what brings you here?” I pointed to the chairs that had been placed out for them, “please have a seat!” I offered politely. “A grave matter has been brought to our attention Lady Parppavar!” Triad Grimoire began. I listened to the allegations that Chaos had sent their way. Changing my facial expression to show sincerity to the topic. It was not only Chaos that had pointed out that hybrids had gone missing, the magical community had complained that their bloodline had disappeared as well. “If it had only been a few that had gone missing, over a long time no one would have questioned a thing.!” Triad Counselor Alround continued, “The issue is … we can no longer overlook the missing of the undesirables!” Alround was glaring at me. “The assailant has become sloppy! Taking families of those that are related to the magical community was not smart on their part.”I licked my lips, “What is being done about this?” I smiled knowing they could not search a location without just cause. As Triad counsellor Justice was about to answer the question, the food and drinks finally were delivered. I was quick to offer them refreshment and some food. Triad Justice took a drink with a smile on his face. Counsellor Alround decline politely food and a drink. While Triad Grimoire took a piece of sweet cake. I was calming my racing heart as I realised that counsellor Alround was not going to be under my control if he did not have something that I had offered. Again I made an offer to him. He smiled at me letting me know that he would not be taking anything. While the other two indulged in what had been offered to them, counsellor Alround continued to speak. Telling me that there was more than enough evidence, giving them the right to search all realms for the missing human borns. It took great effort not to explode like a volcano when I was told they were not only searching for the human borns. They were also hunting down for the other species that have gone missing. I told Mannel that it was too risky taking anyone that was not linked to the human born species. Going against my order the bastard did what he wanted. Taking those that were travelling between the realms. I could only hope that my beloved brother had enough sense to make sure that the stolen species were hidden well enough and could not be found. I could feel my siblings pushing at the back of my head. This could only mean that every single sibling of mine had a group of Traid counsellors at their domain. Like myself, they would have three members of the Triad in their great hall. While I smiled sweetly, I was internally cursing my idiot brother. ‘Make sure the guests eat and drink the poisoned food to sway them from the truth!’ I linked my siblings. I was not going to let the Triad get the best of this situation. Standing up, “well my honoured guest, as you have stated there is a matter that commands your attention. Feel free to roam my terrain, I know you will not find anything here that would incriminate me nor link me to the missing species.” I said, coating each word with honey. Snapping my fingers my Grand Master Mage came forwards. “Show the Triad Counsellors around. Answer all of their questions …” I glanced at the Triad members, “unfortunately I had other plans that can not be rescheduled. If I had known in advance that you were coming, I would have cancelled those meetings. Sadly I can not!” “How unfortunate!” Triad counsellor Alround did not believe a word that came out of my mouth.I waited until the males had left before I portaled to the Eye of the Gods. A realm that has always been my greatest ally. They would close their doors to all, even the Triad. One of the warriors spotted me the second I made my presence. Rushing over to me, he was quick to guide me into hiding. It appeared that the Triad was here. Word was spread around by the Grand High Mage that the Triad were here on official business and had legal right to search for only the listed missing species. While I was hiding the Lord Mage informed me that my brother and his sons had not been seen in a while. Leaving them completely defenceless against the Triad. At least they were capable of keeping the stolen beings out of sight. The Triad would not get the proof they needed to place us behind iron bars. Once the Triad were satisfied that they could not find what they were hunting for. I ordered my brother's top mages to start hunting for my brother Mannel and his bloodline. I was sure Chaos had them locked up somewhere in one of his domains.
