ALPHA FRED’S POV I could not understand why they were all looking at the queen like those that had just seen a ghost. Down from beta Tim to alphas Jake and alpha Ray. Every other person in this room but me is shocked. While I was wondering what was going on, alpha Jake and alpha Ray hurried to the front of the queen and knelt before her, bowing and submitting to her reign. I still could not grasp what was happening. They have been with her for days now, why the sudden homage? It is obvious that I am missing something. She is some goddess, one that I have not seen, one that only I don’t know what she looks like. That explains why every other person is stunned by her face but I am not. She should be a goddess that has appeared before us. What goddess is she and which of the high heavens has she appeared from? Without waiting for an explanation I ran over to her and knelt together with the other alphas, paying due homage to her. Beta Robert of Black Moon Pack soon got up from his seat and made his way to us. He staggered as he approached us, acting like someone that had just seen a lost ghost. His legs appeared to be heavy for him with the way he tried so hard to lift them, taking one step at a time with his eyes never leaving the body of the queen throughout the entire time that it took him to get to us. He almost fell when he made to kneel with us and when he knelt, his head was touching the floor. “My queen” he exclaimed in tears. He lifted his head and looked at the queen once again before bringing them back to the floor. “My luna... it is you” he sobbed and made to grab her feet. “You don’t touch the queen” lord Nathan yelled at beta Robert. “Allow him,” the queen instructed. With this, beta Robert grabbed the queen's legs, held on tightly to them, and would not stop sobbing. “We tried... we did all we can to find... you... but no... nothing... we failed... you... my... luna...” Now to how beta Robert addressed the queen, it is a joke, right? He only had one luna and she was the first daughter of Diamond Cut Pack, beta Tim’s daughter, Scarlet. They are all acting up to confuse me right? But why would they, just how many of them would it take to pull such a stunt together?I looked at beta Tim and with the state I saw him in, I knew that this is no joke. He was speechless and opened his mouth consistently to speak, but could not form a single word. Ma Patricia was no better, she could not bring herself to look up at the queen. Dawn on her part begged the queen with her eyes, while Sam looked so ashamed. The family of beta Tim may be in a very difficult state right now, but I think that serves them right. If truly what I heard about Scarlet was true, then I wouldn’t blame her if she refuses to recognize any one of them. They are truly a disgrace to family-hood and a shame to behold. But how come about the tremendous changes? She is said to be scrawny and pathetic, a wolf not fit to be called one and even alpha Jake rejected and neglected her because of that. How can she be the great Chamlar? “You can all stand, now is not the time for any of you” she ordered. “My... my... queen” beta Robert muttered. “Return back,” she ordered. We all reluctantly stood up and returned to our seats. Now is not the time to deal with us. That is what she just said. I would have loved to say that she was not referring to me, but I can't comfortably say so. Because though I never cause any direct hurt to her, I failed her as the alpha of her Pack. “And now to the witch, we have to discuss your punishment” the queen returned her attention to the witch. I am fully in support of whatever she decides to do with the witch. And as for beta Tim, there would be no better verdict than that proclaimed on him by his own daughter whom he had never acknowledged. “No... no... not yet...” the witch shrieked. I thought she fear no one. Now it seems to me that things are beginning to take their right shape. “Shut up, you are not in any position to negotiate with me” the queen blasted her. Everywhere shook as the queen spoke because she roared like thunder. BETA ROBERT’S POV I returned to my seat with sheer delight. Who else would be in a better position to administer the three brother Packs if not the great luna? I have been with her, and I know that she’s got all it takes.I am so happy with the way things have turned out. At a point, I feared that something terrible must have happened to our luna. I mean I looked for her far and near, sent out our best men for the job but they all returned with no news. She was terribly sick and at the point of death when she left, and I never believed that her illness would be cured. Every night I weep and begged her soul for mercy. I felt that I failed her. She relied so much on me during her time in the Pack, and I could do nothing to protect her interest. The alpha is my friend but yet I fed his ego day and night, even to the detriment of a good woman, the luna. I was heartbroken and blamed myself each passing day for all that had happened. I am the beta and should have known that the alpha would never want to do away with me no matter how much I get on his nerves. I felt I should have persisted and made him do right by the luna. But all that is over now and for once I would be able to sleep peacefully with a heavy burden lifted off my chest. I would sleep with my eyes close, knowing that the moon goddess had done right by her humble subject. I was rejuvenating in my thought when the whole place began to shake as the queen spoke to the witch. “Shut up, you are not in any position to negotiate with me” I have never experienced something of this magnitude before. The queen is indeed a goddess that had come to live among us. All along I gave up on finding anyone that would stand up to the witch. She had wreaked great havoc on our land and our people now live in a hole for fear of her and her zombies. Her evil deeds have become like a terrible nightmare to us, one which we are forced to live with even when we are awake. It feels good to see her all shaken up and trembling, begging to be spared. The queen should pay no attention to her but kill her this very minute as she should not be trusted. Right now she looks all down and broken, but who knows what she has up her sleeve? As for beta Tim and his household, I don’t care what the queen decides to do with them. She can as well end his miserable lineage, but should she decide to forgive him she has to ensure that we are all protected from him. Beta Tim is now a monster and it would be dangerous to allow him to roam freely among us. “I know” Mildrid sprouted with confidence. I don’t know why, but it seems that the queen is for some unrevealed reason, allowing the witch to live longer.Mildrid walked out magnificently to the middle of the hall with her head held up high. Even she must have noticed the reluctance of the queen and thus decided to leverage it. “I know I am in no position to negotiate with you, and that is why I would be asking to negotiate with some other person,” Mildrid said. “What...” the queen murmured. “Yes, I would like to negotiate about my life with someone higher than you” Mildrid requested. Now, this is not going as we all anticipated. It is better never to bargain with a witch, and the queen should be well aware of this. She should spare the witch no longer and end her disgusting life right here and now. We are all already fed up with her. “You keep quiet. You are going to die, not make endless requests” lord Nathan challenged the witch. I was hoping that the queen would allow lord Nathan but she did not oblige him. Rather, she waved at him and he returned to his seat. And like someone under a spell, she looked at the witch and asked. “Who?”
