Golden Moon: The Beta Twins' Contracted Mate

Chapter 187 Perfect

Two years later Life has changed significantly for the members of Gold Moon Pack. Not only were many basic rules and laws enforced again, but the Pack rules and laws were also sharpened. After stepping down as the Alpha of Black Valley Pack, Alpha Lincoln had more time to focus on Gold Moon territory and everything that was wrong with it. Two years ago, he became a Grandfather for the first time and within a year, all of his children had given him Grandchildren. Three boys: Nathan, who is Magnus’ Son. Nestor, who is Madden’s Son and then there is Nick, Mylah’s Son. This year, Alpha Lincoln and Luna Leona will become Grandparents again. All three of his children are expecting additions to their families, with each expecting a girl this time. Beta Lennox and Gamma Layton will also welcome more Grandchildren into their families. Misha and River adopted a little girl shortly after Nestor was born. She is named after her Mother, Nataly. Meadow, Myka and Makay had a triplet and despite being a surprise, their youngest Daughter is doing great. Their Son is named Niam, their oldest Daughter is named Nyra and their youngest Daughter is named Nyssa. Makayla had a baby girl and she decided to break the family tradition by naming her Mahina. I can assure you that no one holds it against her, though. Matheus had a baby boy and despite his trying to convince Madison to break family tradition, he lost the argument. Their Son was named after Madison’s Father, Noah. Marley, Mauro and Malek had a baby girl, whom they named Norah. No special reason, other than a tradition. Marisol gave birth to a baby boy, Neil. Unlike the others, she welcomed a baby girl into the world a year ago and named her Nia. “Our families are becoming huge. I don’t want to envision what it will look like with all of our Grandchildren finding their fated Mates and having babies.” Beta Lennox says as he watches Meadow sit down on the couch. “Doc doesn’t want to pin it down to twins after my first pregnancy. I can guarantee you one thing though. If this is another triplet, I quit.” Meadow mumbles as she leans back with her eyes closed. This time around, the girls are closer with their due dates and each of them has had enough of it already. The past two years have been quiet, but one thing still comes up every now and then. Rhys has been persistent in his attempts to reconnect with River and even tries to reach out to Meadow. He lives in Renegade territory and hasn’t been allowed to leave without an escort. Elder Josiah was convinced that he would try to get back into Gold Moon territory. On his first trip out of Renegade territory, he attempted to see Meadow. It wasn’t a pleasant meeting between Father and Daughter. Rhys was lucky that Makay was with her and stopped her from killing him. His security was tightened after that, and there has been no contact other than a letter. Rufus and Stella moved out of the territory and no longer have the privileges that come with being a Gamma. The last anyone has heard about them was after they had a baby boy and everything has been quiet on that front. Their families also moved out of the territory and as far as anyone knows, they followed their former Luna to whichever Pack was stupid enough to accept her and Rory as Pack-members. Not a single Pack-member was sorry to see any of them go and Alpha Lincoln was grateful that he didn’t have to deal with any of them ever again. “Here you are, Dear.” Beta Lilith says as she hands Meadow a letter. Like clockwork, Rhys sends a letter every three months and every time it gets sent back after Meadow has read it. She doesn’t read the letters for Rhys; she reads them for herself and her children. Still hoping to find out after all these years why he rejected his fated Mate? Why did he hate her so much? Why did he lie to River? Meadow knows she might never get the answers, but a teeny tiny part of her is still holding out hope. “The same crap as usual. He is my Father. I should get over it. I owe him, for what I don’t know.” Meadow says before she hands the letter back.“I’ll send it to Elder Josiah as always. Maybe someday he will get the message and stop sending them.” Alpha Lincoln says as he walks out of the main living room. “Alpha.” Meadow calls out. “Ask Elder Josiah to keep his letters from being sent. I am done with the Idiot and no matter how many times I return the letters, it won’t get through that thick skull of his.” Everyone chuckles as Alpha Lincoln confirms her request and hopefully, that will be the last they ever hear from Rhys. The days stretch into weeks and the due dates of Milcah, Meadow and Marley are getting closer. Doc still hasn’t been able to confirm if Meadow will have twins or maybe another triplet nor has she been able to determine their gender. “This delivery is going to be a surprise, just like last time. My only hope is that you are having twins, because triplets are a handful.” Doc says as she has run her final examination. “You know the drill. Get to the infirmary when you go into labor; these might be as quick as their siblings.” Less than forty eight hours later, Meadow has given birth to another triplet. A girl and two boys this time, the opposite of their older siblings. Nova, Nash and Navy are introduced to their siblings before the rest of the family gets to see them. Meadow was serious when she said she was done with having children. Six Shifters are a handful, especially since they are only two years apart. For the next three years, they can concentrate on their children. Alpha Lincoln will stay on as Alpha until his Grandchildren are a little older and his house has been built. They want to build houses behind the Pack-house for the retired Alpha, Beta and Gamma. A perfect place for them to watch their Grandchildren, while their children run Gold Moon Pack. A place to enjoy their families without having to worry about privacy. Gold Moon Pack is once again a territory that values its Pack-members and when the time comes for Magnus to take over as the Alpha, the territory will regain its rightful name: Iron Nightwalkers Pack. * Being a gifted shifter means living with a target on your back—always. Morgan, the Alpha’s daughter, is a gifted Lycan from a special bloodline. When multiple HUGE gifts awaken within her and the wicked learn of her abilities, all hell will break loose. But then again, Morgan is no ordinary girl. She won’t sit in a safehouse and wait for others to protect her. The Alpha who tries to claim her power is destined to regret it—heavily—his prized prey has now become his hunter. From next chapter will be Morgan's story. My name is Morgan, and I am an Alpha's Daughter.I was born a secret. Females in my bloodline awaken special gifts at 17, making us prey to power-hungry Wolves and Lycans. My parents, in an attempt to protect me, hid me from the world. I thought they didn't love me anymore, so I left my Pack and joined the Lycan King's Army. When my gifts awakened one after another, I finally understood my parents. I came home and reconciled with them in tearful hugs. Then came the storm— A Pack that hungers for gifted females led an army to our border. A century ago, they lost a "gifted bride." Now they scent my power on the wind. Their Alpha vows to brand me as property. Let them try. I am no lamb to bleed on altars. I am the storm-woven Daughter of an Alpha, the steel-spined Commander who leads the Lycan King's Army to war.
