Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone

Chapter 59 Reputation in Ruins

"Linara, why don't you take a moment, look up to the sky, put your hand over your heart, and ask yourself: who's really wronged whom here? Who's bullying whom? From the day I returned home, you've been scheming against me, setting traps, and getting your friends to gang up on me. Do I need to spell out every incident for everyone here? "Let's not even go into the past. Just today—wasn't it you all who started things in the cafeteria? If I hadn't defended myself, I'd probably be plastered across the school forums in disgrace by now. Even when I did stand up for myself, I couldn't escape your tactics. You spread false rumors online to ruin my reputation, and now you come here pretending to be innocent, playing the victim. From the way you're talking, it's like I'm somehow forcing you, prosecuting you. Tell me, where's your shame?" Seraphina's words landed one after another, leaving Linara and her friends speechless. The students who'd gathered around started to reflect on everything and realized it was true—this whole time, Linara and her friends had been targeting Seraphina, yet now, they still audaciously came to behave as if they were the victims. It was enough to turn anyone's stomach. "Linara's crew is just disgusting." "The guilty ones always cry foul first. They've been harassing her at every turn, and now they claim they're the ones being bullied. Really?" "I used to like Linara… but now? Ugh." "Looking back, everything Seraphina's gone through recently—could it have all been Linara and her friends stirring things up?" "Seems likely. I mean, Seraphina just started here. Why would anyone have a grudge against her already? It's not like she's some poor scholarship kid." "When you put it like that, Linara's downright repulsive. 'Goddess'? More like a snake in disguise." "Seraphina's the real victim here. Linara lived her life, and now she's still harassing her, bullying her, setting her up. It's beyond cruel." "Kelly and the others are so dumb. Linara isn't even the Whitewood Family's real daughter, yet they're still clinging to her!" "You don't get it, do you? Some people just can't quit being lackeys—they've gotten used to it." "Hahaha, that's spot-on." Murmurs spread from all directions, every word reaching Linara and her friends' ears. They'd never been humiliated like this before, and their faces turned beet red. "Who are you calling a lackey?" Kelly shouted, spinning around to face the crowd, eyes searching for the person who'd remarked but unable to find them. The surrounding students quieted, not wanting to provoke her further. At that moment, a laid-back voice called out from the back of the crowd. "They're right. You're nothing if not a lackey."The crowd parted, revealing a goth-styled girl who strode forward, a lollipop between her lips. A chain hung around her waist, clinking with each step. Kelly's face flushed even redder when she saw her. "Evelyn, don't push it." Evelyn Drakon smirked, "As far as I push, I could never be as shameless as you." She gave each of them a once-over, leaning forward slightly, and sniffed the air with an exaggerated look of distaste. "I can smell the stench of desperation on you all." Carmen's face darkened. "What's your deal, Evelyn? We haven't done anything to you." Evelyn blinked with an innocent expression. "Oh, I just thought that little display of playing the victim was desperate enough to reek."
