Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone
Back then, I clearly saw the test results. I distinctly remember that Oberon is type O blood, while Chloe is type B. Could the records have been wrong? Am I not type O but type B instead? The nurse, noticing Seraphina's confusion, kindly reminded her, "Young lady, you are indeed not type O. You have an Rh-negative blood type, a rare type also known as panda blood. Make sure to remember this in the future." Rh-negative blood? How is this even possible? How can two parents, one with type O and the other with type B, have a child with such a rare Rh-negative blood type? Seraphina stood there in shock for a long time. The nurse, seeing her dazed state, couldn't help but offer, "If you don't believe it, we can have the doctor test your blood again." Snapping out of her thoughts, Seraphina's gaze hardened. "Please do."The nurse drew another sample and conducted a separate test. Seraphina waited quietly in the room. Though only a short amount of time passed, it felt like an eternity. When the nurse re-entered, Seraphina looked up at her. The nurse handed over the test results. "See for yourself." Seraphina took the paper. It was light as a feather, yet it felt unbearably heavy in her hands. The nurse observed the gravity on her face. It's just a mix-up with her blood type. Why is she acting like this is some earth-shattering revelation? Could it be that she's struggling to accept having such a rare blood type? Sure, it's unique, but it's not such a big deal, is it? The nurse quietly left the room to give Seraphina some privacy. Staring at the paper that clearly stated "Rh-negative," Seraphina felt her heart sink."Rh-negative," she murmured with a bitter laugh. "How ridiculous." If Oberon and Chloe's blood types are accurate, then I can't possibly be their child. Deep down, Seraphina had a growing sense that she might not truly belong to them. But…I need to confirm their blood types beyond any doubt. What if one of them got it wrong? Seraphina calmed herself, already formulating a plan. Clutching the test results tightly, she left the room. The moment she returned, Thomas noticed something was off about her demeanor, though he assumed it was due to the blood draw. "You just had blood taken. You should rest for a bit," Thomas said gently. Seraphina shook her head. "I have something to take care of. I'll be leaving now." Before Thomas could respond, Seraphina turned and walked away. Her unusual behavior made Thomas uneasy. He quickly followed her, but as the elevator doors opened, a swarm of reporters spilled out. Michael, quick on his feet, grabbed Thomas and pulled him toward the emergency stairs. By the time they reached the ground floor, Seraphina had already sped off on her motorcycle. "She's acting strange. I'm worried something might happen to her," Thomas said, frowning. Michael, however, seemed unbothered. "What could possibly happen to a young girl? Our priority right now is avoiding the reporters. If they catch us here, it'll be chaos." After all, if the press managed to capture photos of the nation's heartthrob, Thomas, walking around a hospital in a helmet, the scene would be catastrophic. "If you don't want to make headlines tomorrow, you'd better leave now," Michael added bluntly. Just then, their assistant arrived with a van. Michael dragged Thomas into the vehicle without delay.Meanwhile, Seraphina raced through the streets on her motorcycle, heading home at full speed. She couldn't focus on anything else until this question was resolved.
