Seraphina Is Back—and She’s Not Alone

Chapter 103 That's All You Got

Bryan wore a gloomy face as he muttered under his breath, "Useless." With a smile on her face, Seraphina glanced up at the trio. "Yes, all of you are useless." Bryan was immediately incensed, as were the two lackeys behind him. Neither of the two lackeys waited for Bryan's order. They rushed straight forward. The two of them were only marginally prepared this time, but Seraphina was too strong for their meager abilities. The two men collapsed with a single strike, their bodies hunched over, gripping their bellies or legs, screaming in agony. Bryan became furious as he saw the four lackeys sprawled on the ground. Bryan squinted his eyes and stepped forward, kicking away the lackey at his feet. "You seem to be skilled now, but I've heard you're terrific at fighting. But do you truly believe that this level of confidence will be enough to handle me?" As he approached her step by step, he clenched his hands, the knuckles creaking. The momentum was intense, like a ferocious beast racing toward her, and he suddenly swung his hand. Before the punch landed, the force of the punch was already felt. His fist was ready to strike Seraphina's face when it was precisely captured by two hands that held it firmly. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to push her. His hand hurt all of a sudden. His hand felt like it was being crushed by the constant tightening of the grasp. Bryan scowled before launching an assault on Seraphina's lower body with his left foot. With a sudden increase in force, Seraphina ducked to the left. Crack! There was a crisp sound of bones dislocating. "Ah!" Bryan's right arm was dislocated and hanging limp as he let out a cry of anguish. "Go to hell!" Bryan's eyes were angry as he yelled and withdrew a sharp knife from his waist. "I'm going to kill you!" Flipping over, Seraphina lifted her leg and kicked the knife cleanly out of his hand. After that, Seraphina beat Bryan without any opposition, treating him like a sandbag. Bang! His front teeth were loosened by a punch that struck him squarely in the face. He spat out a mixture of teeth and blood. A kick directly knocked him to the ground. Seraphina gave him a downward glance. "Youth champion, is this all you've got?" Bryan felt angry and embarrassed. He was still baffled by his defeat at the hands of a young woman. This type of stimulation was insufficient. Seraphina remarked, "You're not convinced, are you?" with a smile. Bryan's ferocious eyes said everything as he spat forth blood. "Go home and ask your father how you became the champion.""What do you mean?" Suddenly, Bryan's voice rose. Seraphina grinned and remained silent, merely staring at him pityingly. "Useless." She turned and walked away after saying that. With a mixture of humiliation and rage in his heart, Bryan watched her walk away unhurt. The memory of what she had spoken made him want to kill. He caught sight of a brick beside him, narrowed his gaze, grabbed it, and hurled it at Seraphina. Sensing the terrible wind coming from behind, Seraphina leaned sideways out of instinct. The brick fell heavily next to her feet, just missing her head. She would have suffered severe injuries if it were not for the automatic responses that she had gained after years of training. With a new look in her eyes, a tinge of savage intent simmering deep within, she glanced at the brick on the ground before turning to face Bryan. She approached him step by step, her aura slowly growing icier and more ruthless.
