The Apocalypse Wolf Queen
Blue Star Military Academy. Ever since Thora got into that fight with the upperclassmen at the Combat Institute, Graham had taken a few days off to fully heal the burn on his face. The first-year students at the Combat Institute had calmed down a lot, too. The upperclassmen who had wanted to pick a fight with Thora had all gone quiet after seeing how well she performed in class. Pick a fight again? That would be suicide. If anyone wanted to teach Thora a lesson, the only way would be to gang up on her—there was no other option. Soon, word spread around the Combat Institute. The first-year student who had ranked last in the entrance exams was actually cocky as hell. On her very first day, she got into a fight and showed off like crazy.Other institutes couldn't help but mock them, "Wow, has the Combat Institute gotten that weak? They can't even beat the lowest-ranked rookie?" The students who had already been beaten by Thora all stayed quiet. Some even secretly hoped more people would try to challenge her—then they could get beaten too. That would teach them a lesson. The Combat Institute offered a wide range of courses, covering martial skills from all over the world. Thora learned incredibly fast—so fast that even the teachers were amazed. Most students were only good at one or two subjects, but Thora could handle everything. She could catch up to the upperclassmen in every course in almost no time. No teacher could resist a smart, talented student. Thora quickly went from being the "last-place rookie nobody care about" to the teachers' favorite. They all wanted to teach her, eager to pass on every skill they knew. William looked over the student progress reports from the teachers over the past few days and couldn't have been happier. What had started as a surprise had now become normal—top students really were on a whole other level. This report was the best William had seen since he became dean. He was in such a great mood that he immediately decided to call Roth, casually dropping the news—just to annoy him! Ever since Thora joined as a freshman, William felt like he had a secret ace that could turn any situation around. Even in front of the Command Institute, the top institute of the academy, he finally had something to brag about. It felt so good! With Thora rising so fast, the first-year students at the Combat Institute clearly gained status, and their performance even seemed to surpass some upperclassmen. This left the upperclassmen both annoyed and jealous—especially that Thora, who was from the Astralis eastern werewolf they had always looked down on. Even some upperclassmen in dark-colored uniforms were starting to feel uneasy. The higher-year students gradually began paying attention to this new batch of freshmen. After that day's combat mission ended, Thora had just packed up her gear and was about to leave the training room when a few upperclassmen from the Combat Institute stopped her. A man in a deep blue uniform stared coldly at her. "You're the freshman who hurt Graham, aren't you?" Seeing him, the other first-years instinctively stepped back, wary. Thora frowned but didn't deny it. "Yes." The man didn't say another word. His eyes, locked on Thora, burned with pure killing intent. His right hand clenched into a fist, and a terrifying force radiated from it. Thora's expression changed instantly. The next moment, without a word, the man swung his fist straight at her. He moved so fast that almost no one saw when he struck. By the time everyone reacted, his fist had slammed into Thora's chest with full force! A surge of incredible force hit, and Thora was sent flying several yards back in an instant! "Thora!" a few freshmen cried out, voices breaking.
