The Apocalypse Wolf Queen
Dorian looked at her for a moment, then quietly said, "The Wolffang Unit ... from the Astralis Empire?" The corner of Thora's mouth lifted slightly. "That's right." Only when carrying out missions outside the Empire did she need to hide her identity. This time, she was on an official imperial mission, so there was no need to hide anything. Dorian did not say anything more and held out his hand. "Then, Commander Green of the Astralis Empire, it's a pleasure working with you." Thora knew she had earned Dorian's approval. She also reached out and gave his hand a light shake. "The pleasure's all mine." The moment his fingers touched hers, something subtle shifted in Dorian's calm expression. As soon as he withdrew his hand, the Beta beside him immediately handed over an agreement. Dorian took it, glanced at it, then accepted the pen from the Beta and signed his name. The Beta then held the agreement with both hands and presented it to Thora. Thora took it with one hand and skimmed through it quickly. Her eyes finally stopped on Dorian's signature. The writing matched the man—clean and sharp, with no wasted strokes. The Beta passed her the pen, and she signed her name in bold strokes as well. "This agreement only confirms the two points we discussed earlier. As for the details of future cooperation, I believe Astralis will send a specialist to negotiate," Dorian said calmly. Business was business, and he did not trust soldiers to handle negotiations.Thora went quiet for a moment, as if she had figured something out. "You look down on me." Dorian said nothing. Tristan and Harvey exchanged a look and tried hard not to laugh. She really didn't have to be that blunt. The guy wasn't really that obvious. "Commander Green, you misunderstand me." Dorian's lips curved slightly. With the mission finished, there was no reason for Thora to stay. She stood up. "I will report this cooperation to the higher-ups immediately. Someone will reach out soon if they assign someone else to handle the talks." Thora looked out at the shattered floor-to-ceiling window and suddenly spoke. "Mr. Cipher, you should think about who you have offended. As for the trash that was cleared out, no need to thank us." After that, she nodded politely at Dorian. "Goodbye, Mr. Cipher." She turned and walked away with long strides, and Harvey and Tristan followed at once. After only a few steps, Dorian's people blocked their path. Dorian watched their backs and gave a light laugh. "Commander Green, next time we meet, I look forward to seeing you in women's clothes." With a wave of his hand, the men moved aside to clear the way. Thora did not answer and led her team straight out. Tristan suddenly stopped, turned back, and glared coldly at Dorian. "Let me warn you. Our boss is a hard-core tough guy. Insult him again, and I won't be polite." His words were full of threat and anger. Harvey, who had just stepped out the door, almost stumbled when he heard that. Thora's face shifted slightly as well. Does Tristan still not know my real gender? But she did not bother to correct him. The moment she stepped outside, she sent orders for the Wolffang Unit members waiting nearby to withdraw immediately. Dorian was still thinking about Tristan's words. "A hard-core tough guy?" He frowned and looked at Thora's bold signature on the agreement, then suddenly smiled. "Maybe." Seeing the usually cold and noble Dorian smile so freely left even the Beta in disbelief. Very soon, Dorian reined in his expression and gave firm orders. "Send people to completely clear out the trash in the city and properly settle the other factions, and inform them that the Ciphers have sealed a deal. No new partnerships will be opened for now." "Got it." "Also, calculate our losses and clean up this mess." He did not want to deal with Jason right after barely getting through Thora. "On it, Mr. Cipher."... When Thora and the others walked out of Sky Casino, it was the darkest moment before dawn. The chill of early morning hung in the air, forming a thin mist. All ten members were present, their faces bright with victory and sharp-edged pride. Thora stopped, her gaze moving across her teammates, who were looking at her with blazing eyes, and she smiled faintly. Then she took out her phone and dialed Hugo. "Reporting in. Wolffang Unit's first mission is a complete success."
