The Apocalypse Wolf Queen

Chapter 178 We Have Full Authority

"Because you're too weak," Thora said without mercy and waved her arm. The monster instantly turned into black particles and vanished into the air. One of her abilities was telekinesis. As long as it was not alive, it could be controlled by her. Glen took two steps back and forced himself to summon another monster into the air. This time, Thora did not try to control it. She rushed forward with her bare hands. Powers wrapped around her body, and with one punch, the monster crashed to the ground. Glen's face twisted at once as his mental energy took a heavy hit, and blood spilled from the corner of his mouth. This was complete domination in every way, whether in skill or in abilities.Glen stared fiercely at the monster he had summoned, and he used the last of his mental energy to drive it forward. The creature rose again and charged at Thora like a bolt of lightning. This time, its movements and power were several times stronger than before. Glen no longer dared to hold anything back. He threw out everything he had left. Thora's eyes turned sharp, and just as the monster was about to leap at her and tear her apart, it froze in midair. After hanging there for a moment, the fierce beast suddenly dropped down and lay obediently on the floor. Its big eyes blinked at Thora. It was so well-behaved that it did not even look dangerous. The strange sight almost made Harvey curse out loud. "Damn it!" There was no better way to describe how he felt. Thora looked at Glen and repeated herself. "I told you already. You're too weak."Nothing could break someone faster than such a cold criticism from an opponent. Glen was completely enraged. He charged at Thora himself with a roar. Thora calmly waved her hand and pulled back her abilities, and the monster disappeared at once. When Glen came flying in with his fist, Thora was faster, twisting aside and snapping out a kick using her momentum. Glen's body flew backward like a kite with its string cut, and he slammed into the ground hard. His mental force was already badly damaged, and that kick shattered his chest bones, leaving him completely unable to fight. He glared at Thora in anger, but there was nothing he could do. Dorian saw it clearly. If the fight went on, his man would only lose. Thora's power was far beyond what he had expected. Now, he was starting to wonder if he could really handle her if things ever turned ugly. The three ability users he had paid a fortune to recruit were all defeated here today, crushed like they were nothing. Dorian felt both disappointment and anger inside. But he could not deny that he also felt a sense of excitement. For example, Thora, whom Jason had spoken so highly of, had truly caught his interest. Soon, someone carried Glen away for treatment. Dorian looked at Harvey and Tristan, who could now move freely, then at his three injured subordinates being taken away, and even he felt the urge to curse. These guys are crazy tough. Thora brushed the dust off her pants and walked back to her seat with long strides."So now we can talk, right?" Her cold eyes settled on Dorian, her tone steady, as if she had not just finished a brutal fight. The only sign of what had happened was the fresh bloodstains on her clothes. Dorian smirked. "So, Commander Green, what identity are you using to talk to me today? Can you represent the Astralis Empire, and do you have the authority to decide, negotiate, and sign contracts?" Dorian always kept his word, but when it came to the weapons business, it was a different story. Thora met his gaze, every word firm and clear. "I'm here as the Commander of the Wolffang Unit from the Astralis Empire. Our unit holds the highest authority from the Empire and can make independent decisions on all missions. During operations, we have full authority, including the right to decide, negotiate, and sign contracts." Her strong words were transmitted through the earpieces. Each word burned with excitement and slammed into every member's heart. This was an honor. This was glory that belonged to them. It was the moment that made a soldier's blood boil when declaring their identity and their mission for the Empire. The rush of heat in their blood made them grip their weapons tighter, stars blazing in their eyes.
