When the Galaxy Wept

Chapter 61 I Am Your God

Emerald’s heart almost popped out of her chest as she watched the combat with her hand on the FTL engine, which had been turned on for some time now, but she just couldn’t get herself to press the button. She didn’t want to give up. Although this princess was weird and Emerald was a little scared of her, she was driven by an unfamiliar impulse to stay and figure out what this place was. Her hand left the driving panel, and she raised her head to look up. The princess seemed to notice Emerald’s look and slowly turned her head to look into Emerald’s eyes. “Good girl.” The princess smiled at her with a clear voice. “Fortunately, you didn’t leap. It would have been such a pity if you had died.” Emerald was shocked by her words and opened the detection camera outside the cabin. She was breaking out in a cold sweat from fear as she noticed a blood hawk parking closely to the Cheetah, watching her every move. Her radar didn’t show it, maybe because Emerald hadn’t turned on the flight engine. Had she leaped in such a small space and distance, the Cheetah would have been torn into pieces by the reflex power of the blood hawk. The blood hawks were landing one by one and parked on the debris of the palace in an orderly fashion. It was bizarre but the grand scene. People dressed in ancient clothes were walking and gathering together in fear, and in the debris of the ancient architectures, the drones represented an advanced civilization. They were standing quietly as if they had existed under the ground for a very long time for the sole purpose of protecting them. Though everyone was watching her, the princess looked around with indifference as her voice echoed through the city. “I’m not the princess. Your princess is dead.” Surprised looks and whispers were seen and heard everywhere. She continued with a clear voice. “I am your God, your only god.” Emerald was standing against the wall of the cabin, looking nervous. The imposter princess was telling everyone that their princess was dead and that she was their god. Thousands of people fell into silence out of fear. Maybe because the blood hawks were very similar to Cheetahs, whom they had treated as monsters”, the citizens weren’t excited for the success but were ever more scared of the sudden change in their princess. The princess’ swordsmen quickly stood out. They were not hurt in the air attack. They forced the citizens to go back home, stating that the mythical creatures called out by the princess would eliminate the monsters. Then, several swordsmen came to the Cheetah. They broke the gate to enter, and three swordsmen were ordered to arrest Emerald. They took her gun and all her weapons. After they finished, the princess came. Emerald watched alertly as the princess stepped into the Cheetah. The princess glanced at her with a smile, walked directly to the pilot seat, and sat down. Her jade-white hands gently slid over the control panel. Her look was gentle, and her touch was familiar with the panel as if she was touching a lover. “What is the truth?” Emerald said sullenly. The princess slowly turned her head, and her eyes were amiable. “Emerald, this is the Earth, and ancient China is your hometown, which was the best place in the universe. Didn’t you try your best to protect it?”Emerald paused... “Who are you?” The princess stared at her, and there seemed to be a cloud in her clear eyes. “I have said that I’m the god of this world. The blast wave of your grenade killed my body and woke up my consciousness.” “Oh?” Emerald didn’t bounce to her bizarre answer. “Which god are you, the Buddha, Bodhisattva, or Jesus Christ?” The princess was silent for a while before she answered. “Maybe, I’m more of a Nüwa kind of god.” Nüwa? The one who patched the hole in the sky and created humans? “What about those fighters?” Emerald asked. The princess tilted her head and glanced at the blood hawks parking outside the Cheetah in a line and said proudly. “Emerald Wilson, do you really think the so-called ancient time is really the ancient time? There are so many eras in the history of human civilization. The existence of the Tang Dynasty and you are just a sketch of it. Everything is possible.” “Emerald, I like you a lot. Stay with me, and I’ll give you everything, eternal life, power, wealth, the most handsome men... I can give you whatever you want.” Emerald fell into silence. If her memory was correct and history wasn’t failing her, then this planet wasn’t the Earth. Maybe it was another human civilization, but why was everything here so similar to ancient China? She had to protect herself no matter what the answer was. Therefore, she answered calmly. “I believe you are a god. There is no other explanation for everything here.” The princess smiled at hearing Emerald’s answer, then stood up and walked over to Emerald. Though she was shorter than Emerald, it seemed so natural when she reached her hand to touch her chin. “You can be loyal to me, child. You have always been good.” Her face approached Emerald slowly and was less than four inches from Emerald’s face. She looked at her with appreciation and pity as if she was about to kiss Emerald the next second. However, she suddenly let Emerald go and shook her head, sighing. “It’s such a pity that I’m in a woman’s body, but we still have a long time to go. Now…” She seemed to think of something, then smiled. “Give your body to Yearwood.”“Why?” “Because I want to see you having sex.” Her hands glide down from Emerald’s cheek with lust, looking honest and straightforward. “You are so real and perfect. Your body is the dream I have had for a lifetime...” Emerald showed no emotion on her face. “The enemy may come back soon. After we defeat them, we can...” “Don’t be afraid.” the princess said with disdain, “Didn’t I beat the shit out of them? I’m not afraid of them, no matter how many fighters they have. No one can beat the blood hawk. It has always been this way.”
