When the Galaxy Wept
Emerald was silent for a while since she knew there was no need to talk anymore. She said lightly. “Your highness, please order your man to go out and let me change my clothes. Are you going to let me walk out this way? Of course, I will feel more humiliated this way, but Yearwood’s many subordinates will notice and come here soon if I swagger like this on the streets.” Emerald seemed to get the point. The princess waved her hand, and her men retreated. Emerald didn’t want to change her clothes. She walked quietly to the window and saw the location of the Kung Fu experts. Then she pulled out the safety catch and threw the grenade out. The fire lit up the sky with a bang, and people were screaming. Emerald raised her head and saw that most of the Kung Fu experts were down, but she didn’t see the princess. Then she threw the second grenade without looking again. After the second grenade blew up, the men would die or at least get seriously injured. This was the first time that Emerald acted cruel to someone, and she felt guilty, but she couldn’t pay attention to those feelings. She shouted, “These are my secret weapons. If you step into the room again, I will throw another ten of them, and all of you will die. Let Yearwood bring me my bag right now.” If Emerald had been fighting against modern enemies, the grenades wouldn’t have made a big difference, but the explosion was shockingly big for the ancient people. They had never seen a secret weapon that could kill and hurt so many people from different angles in an instant. They had never seen such a powerful weapon that could cause damage in such a big range. Therefore, when they heard Emerald say that she was going to throw ten more weapons like that, no one dared to stay there anymore. It was not worth wasting their training and practice of more than ten years on the secret weapons on the woman monster, after all. There were some noises outside the door. After a while, the noises were gone. It was like a dead place. The place was so quiet that Emerald became scared. About ten minutes later, Yearwood said, “Miss Wilson, it’s me.” Emerald felt relieved. She wanted Yearwood to give her the bag not because she couldn’t leave but because she was afraid that those Kung Fu experts would put poison on her gun. “Come in alone.” Yearwood looked angry when he walked in, “Miss Wilson, what did the princess do to you? She had my father send me away.” “Give me the bag first,” Emerald said. Yearwood nodded and put the bag in front of her. Emerald said, “Bring me back to the Cheetah, and we can talk along the way.” Yearwood was told that his father was about to die earlier in the morning. He had to ask his most trusted subordinate to take care of Emerald and rushed to his house in the suburbs. But when he went back home, his father was fine though he looked very worried. His father just said he and his mom felt scared because of the monsters, and wanted Yearwood to stay home to protect them, so he had lied about his health. When Yearwood wanted to leave, his father had become furious and didn’t allow him to go. Yearwood had lied that he wanted to go to the toilet and planned to jump the wall to leave. But he found that people were monitoring him, so he carefully left from the backdoor. When he came back into town, he had heard two loud bangs coming from his mansion. He hurried in, and one maid grabbed him, crying. She had told him that the secret weapons of the monster hurt the princess, and the doctor was trying his best to save her, but she still might die. The subordinate who had been in charge of protecting Emerald also came running to him and told him that the guards were fighting against him, so he couldn’t leave. He immediately got Emerald’s bag and came here. When he saw the mess and the blood, he knew that Emerald was punished by the princess. He sighed. If the princess didn’t faint and her subordinates weren’t hurt, the princess’ army would already be surrounding Emerald, and there would be no way out. Therefore, getting her out was the most important thing now. “Excuse me.” He said in a low voice. He held Emerald by her waist as they walked to the door. The alley and the yard were already quiet. There were only dark grey trunks left in the guardrail after the explosion, and there was nobody there. Yearwood, who was always reserved, felt like laughing when looking at this messy scene. He said to Emerald. “There is no one in this country who dares to offend the princess, except for Miss Wilson.” Emerald wasn’t pleased with his joke, and she just said lightly. “She was going to take off my clothes and tie me up on the flower gate.” Yearwood was speechless. Suddenly, there was a loud noise like thunder resounding above the yard. A beam of strong silver light lit up the sky as if it was covering the land of the Tang Dynasty. Yearwood froze, and he said in a low voice, “Miss Wilson, hold me tight.” Before Emerald said anything, he had already jumped to the roof swiftly. When his foot touched the ground, he then suddenly flew up and down on the different roofs like an arrow off the bowstring. The things around them became light and shadow. Yearwood kept whistling along the way, and they could hear other people whistling to them from near and far places.Although Yearwood was fast, Emerald could still see a black fortress above their head about a thousand meters high in the sky, which looked like a fierce iron monster and came to them mightily. He is coming. The sky of the ancient city was a crystal clear blue, with over twenty Cheetahs flying in a fan-shaped order at an extremely high speed above them. The golden fire produced a beautiful scene until the fire fell on the ground, resonating with a great shrill in the air from people caught on fire.
