When the Galaxy Wept

Chapter 155 You're The Only One Dared To Kill Me

Emerald didn’t wake up, and it was her conditioned response to hit him. Emerald felt awful since he wasn’t hurt at all after taking her fists. She didn’t know what to say, and her heart almost popped out when he looked at her. “You have attacked the Commander many times.” Evan quietly grabbed both her wrists, “You and your family should’ve been sentenced to death a hundred times in military court.” Emerald’s body became stiff, and she kept silent with her head down. “Or is this the human women’s way to attract men?” He watched her face shiver in the moonlight, which was different from any other species’ magnetism. Her compressed lips had shown her will of rebellion, but her trembling chin showed her fear. How weird can someone be afraid and indomitable at the same time?“No, no.” Emerald didn’t know how to speak so that he could lose interest in her. It seemed it would be wrong no matter what she said, so she just kept silent. However, Evan didn’t even care how boring she was. After a few minutes, he suddenly leaned forward and got close to her. Emerald didn’t dare to move. Evan held her waist, and Emerald could feel his hot breath. Her big belly was between them, but he didn’t care about it. He put his head in her shoulder pit and took a deep breath. His black hair rubbed her neck, making her shiver out of fear. Then his breath was sprayed to her ear, “You have a special smell that attracts me. It is pure. Do all the women on the Earth have this smell?” Emerald answered immediately, “Yes. You can try other women, and maybe they are purer and more scented.” Evan suddenly laughed, “You’re the only one who dared to kill me. That feeling was good, Emerald.”Hearing him call her name, Emerald felt more despaired. Emerald spent the night anxiously. Fortunately, Evan didn’t do more things, which made her a little relieved. The machine man was interested in her, but he didn’t seem to have the same desire as the humans did. Evan didn’t leave until dawn. Emerald felt so tired that she slept till noon. When she woke up, she saw Evan again, standing in front of her in a crease-free silver uniform. “Eat.” He said lightly. Emerald sat up slowly and went to the bathroom to wash up. Then she sat down in front of the little table in the room. There was rice porridge, a side dish, and a bottle of milk on the table. Evan sat opposite her and started eating. After he finished, he opened the metal cage. “Go.” He looked at her face, “Let’s go to the Stonehenge.”Emerald trembled, “Why?” He just smiled and suddenly held her waist with his big hands. They went downstairs, and Emerald saw something white from the corner of her eyes. She turned around in astonishment and saw a huge metal cage, which took half of the space in the living room, in front of a wall. Veronica, the Zerg Queen, was sitting in the cage, with a thin shackle around her neck and looking at Emerald with no emotions. Emerald heard that Veronica was imprisoned by Evan, but she didn’t expect that he really treated her like a pet. She felt scared when she thought of the words he said to her. She would rather die than be kept as a pet and watched by others with no clothes on. He seemed to sense her fear and suddenly said, “You are different from her. She’s an Orc, but you are a human.” Emerald was surprised. Did this mean that he wouldn’t treat her like Veronica? Evan said, “The fact that I colonized the territory of humans doesn’t mean that I don’t respect this species. In ancient times, the First Machine Civilization was created by humans.” While thinking about the meaning of his words, Emerald felt calm. **** A medium-sized warship, which was a private plane of Evan, was parked on the lawn. The cabin door opened, and Evan jumped onto the plane with Emerald. Then he threw her on the seat. The warship rushed out of the atmospheric layer and flew to Stonehenge. Emerald guessed that he must’ve known that she had directed the Stonehenge before. She decided that if he wanted to use the Stonehenge, she could temporarily make a deal with him. Besides, he only took one fighter to the Stonehenge, and maybe she would have a chance to...She was suddenly alert. If she wanted to use the Stonehenge to kill him, she would die with him. But it was impossible that he didn’t know what she wanted to do. Then why did he dare to go to the Stonehenge? As the fighter approached the Stonehenge, her heart beat faster and faster. Evan, sitting beside her, was looking at the enormous Stonehenge, which stretched for thousands of kilometers, outside the cabin and suddenly smiled. “Do you want to kill me?” He looked at Emerald and gave her a vibration sensor, “The other end of this sensor was put on the Stonehenge as the acoustic medium. If you speak to the Stonehenge, we’ll hear you.” Emerald quivered and took that sensor, “No, I said I would listen to you, and I won’t kill you.” It seemed that Evan didn’t hear her. He suddenly grabbed her arms and pulled her up. There were two lines of machine men sitting by the side of the cabin, and they didn’t seem to see that the Commander was holding this woman’s arm. Evan took her to the head of the cabin, which had a spacious glass bulkhead. Emerald could see that the Stonehenge was like a black sea under the plane. Evan was standing beside her, staring at the stones. Emerald secretly glanced at his face. What did he want to do? Emerald maybe could wake up the stones to attack him from this angle. However, with the advanced flight technology, they would have enough time to leap and run away, so he had nothing to fear. Then why did he bring her here? Did he really want to look at the stones and try to use them? Did he want to see whether she would kill him? No, maybe he didn’t even care about that. Then why? Evan realized that Emerald was silent and turned around to look at her sharply, “Wake up the stones!”Emerald didn’t move.
