God-Tier Like System
This woman was definitely the best of the best. Even if she did not do anything and simply stood still, men would be fatally attracted to her. She was a woman who could make a man lose his rationality. In comparison to this woman, Quinn, who was seen as attractive in the eyes of commoners, looked like a poor maid who worked for the daughter of a wealthy family. High-quality luxury car and top beauty. Tsk, tsk. What a deadly combination! There were people who would probably be willing to lose ten years of their lives just to spend one night with her. Leonard was looking straight now with a blaze in his eyes, but he also knew that he could never have a woman like her. So what if he was the manager of the sales department? So what if he drove a BMW X5 that cost around 800,000? To her, he was just a weak and feeble person. She probably wouldn’t even spare a glance at him.On the other side, Christopher was first stunned to see the familiar rose-red Porsche, then he chuckled. What a coincidence. “What are you chuckling about?” Seeing the grin on Christopher’s face, Leonard snorted at him and scorned, “Put that filthy smile away. You sure are no more than a mediocre cook. Look at that uncultured look on your face. You’re letting it show. Don’t embarrass us by looking like a pervert!” Interesting. Raising his brows, Christopher looked over and pointed at Luna as she was approaching them before smirking at Leonard. “Do you know her, Leonard?” “Of course not!” he replied. Is he joking? As someone at her level, how could she possibly know us? We’re not even from the same circle! “If you don’t know her…” Christopher paused. “Then what are you chattering on for?” After that, he walked over to Luna to greet her. Under Leonard’s watchful gaze, Christopher walked toward Luna and greeted, “Director.” “Why aren’t you going home yet?” Luna looked at Christopher as she asked. “My alumni reunion just ended, so I’m getting home a bit late,” he explained. “Are you waiting for a cab?” she asked again. He nodded. “Where are you going to find cabs at this hour?” She laughed. “Get in. I’ll give you a ride!” “Oh, I'd feel too embarrassed!” he said pretentiously. “If you were really embarrassed, you wouldn’t have said that.” She couldn’t have a better understanding of Christopher. “Shut up and just get in the car.” “Thank you, Director.” When his fake courtesy was exposed, he fiddled with his nose awkwardly and sat in her car without saying anything else. Vroom! As the engine roared, the rose-red Porsche disappeared into the bright city lights. In front of the Madrila Private Club at this moment, however, Leonard and Albert were both looking at each other in a daze. The people next to them were all completely dumbfounded too. It was then they knew that they had underestimated Christopher. If they weren’t hallucinating, the exquisite woman actually invited Christopher into her Porsche. … On the spacious road, the rose-red Porsche darted through like a bolt of lightning. The car was already going at 120 kilometers per hour, but she kept her foot on the gas pedal with no intention of slowing down. Looking at the buildings outside the window fly past him, Christopher gulped nervously and pressed his back firmly into the back of the seat. “Um, Director, I know it’s quite late in the night now, but this isn’t drag racing! Can you go slower?” “Why? Are you scared?” With her hands on the steering wheel and her eyes fixed straight ahead, she teased him without even looking back. “Scared? Why would I be scared?” He felt slightly uneasy. “We’re law-abiding citizens, aren’t we? You’re breaking traffic regulations by going over the speed limit.” She laughed. Either she was convinced by his words or for some other reason, she still slowed the car down eventually. “Director, why are you only going home this late?” After the car slowed down, Christopher felt at ease enough to have a conversation. He was only out this late at night because of the alumni reunion. But it was rather unreasonable for a woman like Luna, whom being called drop-dead gorgeous was hardly an exaggeration, to be out alone at this hour. Nowadays, it was very dangerous for women, especially attractive women, who chose not to sleep at night and went out to have fun instead. There was no guarantee that they wouldn’t get into trouble. There was no lack of news reports of such nature on the internet. “I went to The Giant Slopes,” she replied. “The Giant Slopes?” He was first taken aback to hear her answer, then he was slightly shocked. “Did you go racing?” “Why? Can’t I?” she retaliated. “You can! Of course you can!” he answered hurriedly after hearing the slight dissatisfaction in her voice. He looked up related information about the Giant Slopes on the internet once. It was one of the underground racetracks in Brentwood City. When night came, racing hobbyists who were looking for some excitement in Brentwood would gather there to hold a race. Initially, Christopher thought that only those wealthy and aimless rich boys who didn’t have a care about their lives would take part in it for the sake of the excitement. To his surprise, the prim and proper Luna was also part of such an activity. Damn! It really goes against my perception of her! He found the need to redefine his understanding of Luna now. It looked like this exquisite beauty did not just have a prim and proper side to her; she also had her own wildness! Don’t tell me she’s the kind of woman who is cold on the outside but warm on the inside. He thought it was very likely. He couldn’t help but wonder, I just don’t know how she is in bed. Is she wild or cold? He felt like it was a question worth considering. Indeed, this question was complex and hard to figure out. Christopher didn’t see the need to let someone else test that out, so he decided to wait for someday in the future to slowly find out for himself. At 2.30AM, Luna dropped Christopher off at his home and went on her way without giving him a chance to invite her in for a cup of tea. He watched her rose-red Porsche disappear at the end of the road before he went upstairs himself. Once he was done with his shower, it was almost 3.00AM, but he still did not feel sleepy. Figuring that he wouldn’t be able to sleep today, he started to study the four Culinary Skills on his phone. At the moment, these were the respective experience points for his four skills: Knife Skills: 24,120 points Fire Skill: 35,270 points Choosing Skills: 27,546 points Tasting Skills: 26,740 points He still needed 70,000 to 80,000 experience points to level up for each one. Because he was only allowed to play in the Lucky Draw System 20 times a day, relying on scrolls to raise his skill levels was clearly impossible. If he wanted to raise his Culinary Skills, he could only depend on his own effort. He didn’t need to spend a large amount of time in practice like other chefs did. The revolutionary use of numbers to display a chef’s skills had its benefits, but it was just a tad bit slow.
