God-Tier Like System
Andy, who didn’t know what Christopher was trying to say, gave Christopher a curious look before nodding his head. “Please go on, Chris.” Andy’s voice was stable and calm; it was almost as if he hadn’t just witnessed his own son slapping himself in the face. Everyone in the crowd sighed to themselves. This is what makes him a president! Not every person can be as composed as Andy. “The Platinum VIP card that you gave me was kicked and stomped on by someone else.” The Platinum VIP card?! The crowd murmured in excitement once they heard the name of the card. It was said that the whole Dune Enterprise only owned two of those cards. Andy used one of the cards for himself, but he hadn’t given the other card to anyone else before that. Did he give it to this young man? Oh my God, this young man looks so normal, and he’s even carrying some large bag that makes it look like he’s one of those poor villagers. Who exactly is he? The crowd stared at Christopher puzzledly. “Who’s the one who did such a thing?” Andy, who had seemed relatively calm earlier, darkened his expression and sharpened his cold glare after hearing Christopher’s words. His voice was filled with frustration as he spoke. This was no ordinary matter; it was a matter of Andy’s reputation and pride. If Andy was the one who had wronged another person, he could have offered an apology or some compensation to the other person, as he did with Christopher. However, if someone else were to mess with Andy when he hadn’t done anything to that person, that was a whole different matter that Andy refused to tolerate. It was even more unacceptable since someone had kicked and stepped on the Platinum VIP card—not just any regular card—that he had gifted to Christopher. The person even stomped on the card a few times, which meant that this person didn’t consider Andy’s reputation at all. How would Andy continue to mingle around in Brentwood City if he were to look past such an event? Christopher didn’t respond to Andy’s question. Instead, he turned and glared at Cyrus, who was shivering in his seat by the side. Cyrus decided to speak up as he could tell how furious his father was. “I-It was Crystal. Mr. Yard used your Platinum VIP card to purchase some items yesterday, but I stopped him from doing it. Crystal then smacked the card out of Christopher’s hands before she stomped on it and kicked it aside.” “You useless brat!!” Upon hearing what his son had to say, Andy twisted his expression into one of fury as he stormed directly toward his son while everyone stared at him dumbfoundedly. Smack! Smack! Smack! Andy gave Cyrus a few more slaps that rang clear and loud in the hall. Both Cyrus’s left and right cheeks had red marks, some of them overlapping the marks he gave himself earlier. Parts of his skin cracked and began to bleed. Cyrus, who had never seen his father getting so angry at him, was too afraid to retaliate in that situation. He sat still in his seat and allowed his father to continue slapping him. Andy only stopped after he gave his son at least seven or eight slaps. “I’ll give you a chance to make things up with Chris. You’ll never get some of Chris’s Hundred Tonics Nourishing Soup if you don’t resolve this issue soon! I won’t give you your allowance for the next month either!” The Hundred Tonics Nourishing Soup? My allowance? Cyrus was initially stunned to hear his father changing the topic. He froze and stared at Christopher for a moment before he finally understood the situation. So, he’s the one who made the Hundred Tonics Nourishing Soup? Cyrus’s face darkened the moment he came to this realization. F*ck! F*cking Crystal! I understand why my father has been so nice to Christopher now. If Christopher can make the Hundred Tonics Nourishing Soup, then his cooking skills must be top-notch! There are so many people who are fighting to try some of that soup! My father gained so much more strength in his lower area after he tried the soup. Yet, I didn’t just provoke Christopher; I was even rude and sarcastic to him! Even my father didn’t dare to do such a thing! I’m ruining my own life! “I’ll beat you to death, you b*tch!” Smack! Once Cyrus understood the whole situation, he charged toward Crystal’s pale face and weak-looking figure before he gave her a tight slap. He used nearly the same amount of strength that his father had used on him earlier, and streaks of blood immediately formed on Crystal’s cheek after Cyrus left a handprint on it. Crystal was too afraid to fight back at that point. Even Cyrus received a beating earlier. Who am I to do anything? All I feel now is the regret for having messed with someone like Christopher. I really can’t afford to upset someone like him. Cyrus didn’t hold back from slapping Crystal even though she was a woman. It seemed like he gave her such a harsh slap because he felt the need to express all his hatred for her. At the thought of that, Crystal couldn’t help but tear up. “I’m sorry. It’s my mistake. I shouldn’t have fought with Mr. Yard’s girlfriend over a skirt. Please forgive me! I… I’ll take the skirt off right now.” Crystal was too flustered at that point—she was practically tripping over her own words as she got to her knees to apologize. Right after that, she seemed to recall something before she got back to her feet and stripped off the black skirt that she was wearing. She tried to hand the skirt over to Christopher. “Tsk!” Everyone clucked their tongues in disapproval as they stared at Crystal’s white panties. Some of their gazes then lingered at parts of her body as greed and thirst filled their eyes. “Ah!” Crystal looked down at her own body when she realized how everyone’s gazes had landed on her. She then let out a shriek before she hastily covered the black skirt over her lower body once more. Upon witnessing Crystal’s unsophisticated actions, Andy’s expression seemed to turn darker than before as he deepened his frown. Christopher didn’t feel the slightest hint of pity for Crystal even as he watched her embarrassing herself. After all, Crystal had been rude to Scarlett in the past and had even tried to hit Scarlett. Crystal even cursed at him back then! Furthermore, she was the one who was mocking him when he first arrived in the hall earlier, and she was the one who convinced Cyrus to call for the bodyguards to beat him up. If he hadn’t drunk some of the Bone Broth Detox Soup earlier, he would have been the one who was beaten into a pulp! Christopher had no reason to feel sorry for a woman like her. He simply nodded before he looked toward Cyrus and Andy. “Mr. Dune, please send the clothes Scarlett purchased yesterday to The Serenade. We can forget about the skirt. President Dune, let’s take a look at Old Mr. Dune now. I don’t want to waste my time with a woman like her.” Andy froze for a second before he recognized that Christopher was no longer furious over the incident. “I want you to use the best materials to recreate the exact same skirt, Cyrus. You can then send it to wherever Chris said earlier. I also want you to kick this woman out of the house. I don’t want to see her here again,” Andy ordered after giving Christopher a nod. Cyrus didn’t have the guts to show any hesitance after he heard his father’s stern orders. He hastily nodded before he turned to give Crystal another slap. “You b*tch. You deserve it! You’re the reason I got into trouble. Guards! Kick her out!” The two guards who were standing beside Cyrus didn’t hesitate with their actions either. They immediately rushed forward to lift Crystal before carrying her out of the hall, away from the house.
