For the sake of his own safety, Christopher got himself a regular bag and placed the 10-second Instant Pot into it before he left the house. He didn’t want to end up in a situation where he had to explain how he pulled the pot out of his Interdimensional Cookware Storage Bag. The Interdimensional Cookware Storage Bag looked like nothing more than a tiny pouch, yet it was able to fit plenty of things within it. If someone else witnessed him pulling an entire black pot out of the bag, they would be shocked for the rest of their life. After that, Christopher made his way into the Lamborghini while ignoring the peculiar looks he received from those around him. Jules and the rest of them looked especially puzzled by the fact that Christopher was carrying a pot into the car. About ten minutes after Robin started up the Lamborghini, Christopher found himself in a space that had five houses circling one large house in the middle. The house in the middle was twice the height of the rest of the houses—it was about 170 feet tall. Once Robin got out of the car, he led Christopher directly toward the house in the middle. “There are a total of six houses here. There should be quite a lot of people here, right?” Christopher couldn’t contain his curiosity.“No. This place belongs to President Dune’s family, and it’s usually the few of them who are around. The rest of the five houses are empty.” Robin froze for a moment before he answered with a smile. Christopher couldn’t stop his lips from twitching with annoyance after he heard what Robin said. This is what I’d call a rich person! I’ll have to find a way to get the 10 million from this guy today. He can give me some of his wealth since he’s so rich. Calling the house in the middle a lavish or opulent piece of architecture wouldn’t have been an exaggeration. The exterior of the building made it look like a regular villa, but the inside looked more like an emperor’s palace. Christopher followed Robin into one of the grand halls within the house, and he froze when he saw the number of people who were there. Didn’t Robin say that there would only be a few people around? Why are there so many people here today? “This chef-cum-doctor is someone President Dune invited personally. President Dune has made it clear—he’ll willingly pay a total of 10 million to anyone who can allow Old Mr. Dune to regain his cravings for good food!” Robin flashed Christopher a professional smile as he introduced the man to everyone in a polite tone. Robin was about to lead Christopher to the room that Kevin had prepared specially for his guest when two individuals walked over to them. “Yo, isn’t that the guy who got flustered and ran off yesterday? What is this? Are you here to mess around because you felt sore after what happened yesterday? Hah! I’m going to expose you when President Dune comes over later; I’ll make sure you get kicked out of the villa!” Christopher frowned at the sharp and sarcastic voice, and he turned around to find himself face to face with the woman he met the day before—Crystal. Crystal was dressed in a white top and a black miniskirt that day. Christopher’s gaze lingered upon the woman’s skirt before he realized that it was the exact one Scarlett had wanted to buy the day before. He continued to scan the woman without responding to her words. Ever since she kicked the Platinum VIP card away, he already knew how things were going to turn out for her. A resentful look found its way to Crystal’s face when she saw how calm and relaxed Christopher seemed. She raised an eyebrow before turning to look at Cyrus, who was right beside her. “Look at him, Cyrus. He’s just a poor man, holding onto some tattered sack just like any other countryman. How dare he come here to cause issues for us? Isn’t he just disrespecting you?!” she uttered in a whiny voice. Cyrus smirked and placed a finger under Crystal’s chin when he saw how flirty she was acting, and she sent him a seductive gaze as she looked into his eyes. “You wouldn’t have been able to walk over with your two legs today if you hadn’t voluntarily left the building yesterday, you brat. This is my house, and I want you out now. I don’t want Crystal to be unhappy.” Cyrus wrapped an arm around Crystal as he addressed Christopher in a flat tone. “Just ignore him, Robin. Lead the way!” There wasn’t a hint of emotion on Christopher’s face as he turned away from the couple and addressed Robin. It was almost as if he had treated the pair as invisible ghosts. Cyrus was furious to see how Christopher had ignored him. “How dare you act all arrogant when you’re in my house?! You’ll be fired if you bring him anywhere, Robin.” Robin found himself caught in the middle of a conflict. “Mr. Cyrus, I’m just working according to President Dune’s—” “Quit your nonsense. I’ll bear all responsibilities if anything occurs, but I want you to step aside right now. How dare this young man disobey my orders when he’s in my house?! He’s asking for it! Guards!” Cyrus actually lost his temper at that point. Who is this man?! How dare he speak to me so rudely?! Everyone here bows and addresses me with a polite tone here! Five men who were dressed in black suits marched over to Cyrus right after he finished his sentence. All five of them were in sunglasses, and they headed over to Cyrus before giving their master a synchronized bow once they stopped in front of him. “Young Master!” they greeted. “Yeah! I want you all to bring this b*stard aside to beat him up! You can do anything you wish with him, as long as you make sure not to kill him. We have to protect the reputation of the Dune Family in Brentwood City,” Cyrus ordered in a firm voice. All five men turned their heads to look at Christopher after listening to their master’s orders. Despite the sunglasses they wore, there was still a hostile look in their eyes that seemed to penetrate through their glasses. These five men were bodyguards that the Dune Enterprise had hired at an expensive price, and all of them were well-trained individuals who had their own skills. The regular man would be no match for them. These men tugged their lips into an arrogant smirk after they took a look at Christopher. Many of the chefs and doctors who were present that day shook their heads and sighed as they witnessed this incident. They felt sorry for the young man who had ended up in a conflict against Cyrus. Being from a wealthy family, Cyrus was a cocky young man who only knew to take Andy’s money; Cyrus had no compassion toward the people around him. All the guests assumed that Christopher’s life was about to be ruined. Many of them quickly turned away from him, as they were afraid to witness the young man getting beaten up brutally. Soon enough, they heard a man’s cries, and they all shook their heads glumly. They assumed that one of the guards must have broken the young man’s arm. However, the cries were followed by other cries from different voices. The crowd froze upon this realization. It doesn’t sound like it’s the same person who’s wailing. Could it be…? All of the guests turned around when they realized what was going on.
