Interstellar Businesswoman Tycoon
Two silhouettes walked out of the thick forest. They were none other than Miley and Tyron. The outfits on their body were already in disarray, with mud clinging all over them. Just from the tired expression on their face alone, one could see that they’ve experienced a lot of ups and down while inside the thick forest. “We're finally out.” Miley deeply inhaled the fresh air into her lungs. Her nostrils were finally free from the assaults of decayed leaves. Several leaves twigs could be seen poking out from her hair. Turning around, Miley looked at the forest behind her and couldn't help but shiver at the thought of the experience she had inside. Although, they didn't encounter any fierce beasts on their way out, the existence inside the forest was much deadlier than coming across a fierce beast. If it wasn't for their advanced skill, both she and Tyron would have lost their lives several times in there. “Do you think that the others might have appeared in the same place as us?” She turned to look at Tyron as she asked. “I'm not sure about that.” Tyron replied as he finished gulping down a bottle of water. The two of them had been on their heels without any given time rest. As a result, he was already dehydrated from all that run. “Give me some water too.” Tyron took out another bottle of water from his storage ring and hand it over to Miley. After having her fill, Miley let out a sigh of contentment. “I wonder how Sylvia is doing.” Her face appeared troubled as she said this. “It’s alright. We will find each other soon.” Tyron moves closer to Miley wanting to hug her but when he saw how dirty he was, he stopped his action. “Check to see if we can now summon out our contract beast.” One of the reasons why they were in such a disheveled state was because of their inability to summon out contract beasts. As someone who has been used with having their contract beast side by side during battle, this was such a huge flaw to them. “It's still the same.” Tyron responded. “Gosh. What kind of fucked up place is this.” Miley became even more pissed. “Fine, let's get moving then. Once we find the others, we'll devise a plan on how to escape from this hell of place.” The two continued to move forward. Inside the storage room, Sylvia steps suddenly paused. “Did you hear that?” “Hear what?” Ian looked at Sylvia, probably wondering what she had heard. 'Susu, what's happening?' [I'll go find out, host.] “Did you heard anything strange?” Ian asked again. “No. I thought I heard someone screamed but I guess it must just have been my delusion.” Sylvia answered. The two of them continue walking inside the storage room. Right before them were several shelves, each of them containing several boxes. Some of the boxes were made out of glass, while the rest were all wooden boxes. Upon sighting the things inside the glass boxes, both of them were taken aback. Inside the boxes were materials. Not just any materials but rare materials that could send all planet in the universe into an uproar. Some of the contents inside were precious herbs, highly valued fruits and some beast cores from higher grade beasts. Sylvia became amuse at the sight of this. With such a huge quantity of valuable materials, she would not have to worry about getting Susu a large number of cores for his upgrade. “Let see what’s in the other boxes.” Without waiting for Ian reply, Sylvia had already rushed forward. Ian watched her took a glass box from the nearby shelves and opened it. A breathtaking smile soon appeared on her lips when she saw the quality of the content inside the box. 'It looks like she is very fond of beast cores. How about I get her some as a gift.' Ian didn't know when such thoughts came across his mind.On the other side, Sylvia was feeling happy because of the info Susu had just relayed to her. Miley and Tyron were outside the research center. It looks like they all arrived at the same location but just that their area of landing was different. If that’s so, the others should also be somewhere nearby. This is great. When she turned her head to relay this happy news to Ian, she found the later standing on the spot with a dumbfounded expression on his face. “What are you doing by standing there? Hurry up. We need to put all of this inside our storage ring.” “Oh, yes.” Ian snaps out of his trance and immediately moved to work. The space inside the storage ring were limited, so they couldn't just dump everything inside. “Take away the valuable ones and leave the least valuable ones.” Sylvia instructed. “But they are all valuable materials.” “I know. But since our storage is limited, we can only take away the ones with higher monetary value.” While saying that, Sylvia opened a wooden box which contains several higher-grade beast cores. Within seconds, the cores were reduced to ashes being totally absorbed by someone. “I'll do that then.” Ian didn't witness what had just happened inside the box and agreed with Sylvia’s words. Sylvia began to move across each shelf, finding some cores for Susu to absorb. However, when she picked up a wooden box from the shelf, she heard a click, signifying that she must have triggered some certain kind of mechanism. The place where the box was previously at suddenly shifted, revealing a small opening. Surprised by this new discovery, Sylvia curiously peered into the opening, only to see a device lying below it. [This is the same as the recording device that research Athan used for storing his video feed.] Susu said. “Hmm.” Sylvia looked down at the device. Why would such a thing be kept here if there wasn't some classified information stored in it. Reaching into the hole, she picked up the device. The wooden board immediately shifted back to its original position. “I wonder what's stored inside it.” However, before she could ponder further, the device in her hand suddenly lit up. “Ha.” She let out a light yelp, which was instantly heard by Ian. Thinking that something might have happened to her, Ian instantly rushed over. “What's wrong? Are you hurt anywhere?” Ian held Sylvia’s hand and looked at her all over. [Host, I'm seriously going to kill a certain person.] “I'm fine.” Sylvia answered. “That's a relief. I thought something bad had happened to you.” Ian let out a sigh. [Huh huh. What’s this? Is he trying to say that he was concerned about you. Host, you shouldn't stop me this time around. I'm really going to kill a certain person.] “Hum...” Sylvia didn't know what to say at this point. Ian also realized what he had done and awkwardly withdraw his hand away from Sylvia’s. Perhaps feeling a bit embarrassed, he turned his head sideways only to be met with a ghostlike face in front of him. “Ahhh!” He screamed as he jumped backward in panic. His sword suddenly appeared in his hand, which he then brandished at the ghostlike figure, hoping to cut it into two. Unfortunately, his sword passes through the figure, not doing any harm to it. Seeing this, Ian immediately retreated, hiding Sylvia behind him. “Who the hell are you!” He roared as he pointed his sword at the figure. “Me.” The ghostlike figure circled above Ian’s head, as if teasing him. “What do you think I am?” A mysterious smile appeared on its face. “Of course, I'm an Abyssal devil who's going to suck in both of your soul. Ha-ha-ha-ha.” Its loud devilish laugh resonated through the whole floor.
