Interstellar Businesswoman Tycoon
“Found them!” A small bird flew across the sky, before landing onto Gael's shoulder and vanished into his consciousness. “The herd is just a few distances away from us. From the bird's observation, about twenty are in the flock. Five are in the A-rank class, while the rest are in the B's and C's ranks.” Gael explained everything to the group. “That's good. Let's head out before it turns dark.” At Tyron's words, everyone began to move. Before leaving, Miley let out her cactus plant and set it in front of the cave entrance. Although the beast repellent powder has been spread out, it wouldn't hurt to be cautious. While riding on their mounts, they arrived at the destination much quicker. Sighting the herd in the distance, Tyron motioned for everyone to get off their mounts. The rest of the walk had to be done on foot. So, Sylvia withdrew Sky into the contract space and began to move. Unaware that an enemy had already set their sights on them, the rainbow cows continued to graze over the land unbothered. 'Mooo!' A rainbow cow beast almost as huge as an adult elephant strolled around the area, checking for any signs of abnormalities in the surroundings. Not far from him were four other rainbow cows of its size who were also patrolling the area. Behind them were the smaller rainbow cows, who were protected under their encirclement. Occasionally, their ears would perk up, ready to pick up any nearby sound. However, as vegetarians, they couldn't resist the allure of the grass below them and lowered their heads to munch on it. “Those fives must be the leader of the herd,” Jose uttered in a low voice. “We need to formulate a plan on how to catch them off guard, or else, they might run away.” Milo had a sense of anxiousness in his voice. “We don't need to catch everyone one of them. Just a few will suffice.” While saying that, Tyron turned to the team and began to order. “Gael, I'll need your poisonous flame bird to launch a sneak attack on the herd above the sky. While they are in a panic, you will set up an earth wall around them to prevent them from escaping, Ryker.” “Miley, your task is to freeze the ground inside Ryker's encirclement area. Sylvia, I would need you and Ian to disrupt the wind flow around the cows to prevent them from using their speed.” “Alright.” Sylvia nodded. “As for the rest, your task is to hunt down the trapped cows in the encirclement. Make sure that their bodies are fully preserved. Use your fastest and strongest skills to kill them if needed.” “Okay.” No one refused Tyron's arrangements, and soon jumped into position. Gael was the first to act. 'Shriii' The call of the poisonous flame bird came above the sky, alarming the grazing herd below. Before the cows could react, several balls of fire suddenly rained upon them. Although none of the fireballs hit their body, this was enough to cause panic among the group. The five leaders knew they were in a disadvantageous position due to the flying ability of their attacker. Hence, the leaders gathered the cows, ready to escape from the attack range. But before they could even put their plan into action, Ryker's earth wall emerged from the ground, encasing them on the spot. Miley instantly cast her ice ability, freezing the floor inside the encirclement. On the side, Sylvia and Ian were using their wind ability to disrupt the flow of the air around the cows. 'Mooo!' 'Mooo!' The rainbow cows began to let out distressing cries, seeing that their escape route was blocked. With no way out, the five leaders turned to where Sylvia and the others were standing and dashed forward. They could tell that the reason they were attacked was because of them. 'Whoosh! Whoosh'. Five whooshing sounds rang out continuously. The charging cows instantly fell to the ground, paralyzed. “Nice work, Walker.” Kai, who witnessed this scene, praised Walker, who was holding a bow beside him. “Ha-ha.” Walker let out a laugh. The tip of the arrows had been coated with the paralytic venom of an S-rank plant. He wouldn't have made use of such precious poison if it weren't for Tyron's last sentence. Purchasing ten drops of this venom had cost his whole fortune. Now, five of them were gone in the blink of an eye. Although he was a bit pained, Walker knew that the value of the rainbow cows before him was much higher than buying a full bottle of venom. So, he was very satisfied. With their leaders gone, the morale of the other rainbow cows went down. Soon, they were easily dealt with. “I'd never expected that we could clear off the whole herd this soon.” Miley was surprised. “The mercenary guild that sold this news to you would be puking out blood if they discovered this.” “I gauged their strength. Their boss was only a B-ranked expert. He must have observed that they couldn't fight the herd by themselves and decided to sell out the news.” Tyron said. “How much did you purchase the intel for?” Miley was curious about the price Tyron had paid. “Guess?” A teasing smile appeared on the latter's lips, causing Miley to roll her eyes. “Three hundred and seven million.” A cold voice sounded behind them. “Wow.” Tyron was surprised at this answer and turned to the young girl behind him. “You're so accurate, Sylvia.” Not only did she get it right, she even got the extra seven million he had paid to keep the news contained. “Close to four hundred million? Wow, they're going to cough out blood if they knew the value of what they lost.” An entire rainbow cow could be sold for a hundred million coins. If they were to sell the twenty they had just hunted, that would be two billion coins. Ssss. Those guys are definitely going to regret it for their entire lives.“Let's end our task for today. We shouldn't tire ourselves out if we want to gain the best experience.” Tyron said. Once the bodies of the cows were processed and stored away, they all headed back to the cave area. They've been fighting on an empty stomach since morning, so everyone was already hungry. The sky in the wilds was always gloomy, so it was challenging to tell what time of day it was. After putting away the cactus plant that was guarding the entrance, Miley began to take out the cooking ingredients and hand them over to Walker for cooking. Minutes after, a delicious aroma began to seep out of the pot. The smell of rainbow cow soup filled the entire cave, causing the hunger in everyone's stomach to intensify. Thankfully, an aroma sucking device was set up at the entrance to prevent the meaty smell from spreading out. Or else, an army of beasts would have been lured over by the aroma in no time.Sylvia's stomach growled even louder. Her eyes stared greedily at the pot on the fire. She felt as if she was back to the apocalypse days when a single pack of noodles could make anyone go crazy. Ian, who had enjoyed the best of food inside the palace, couldn't help but swallow hard as he waited for the soup to be done. It seems as if the pot was the only treasure in his eyes. Walker, the cook, opened the pot cover and checked the meat texture. Seeing that it was fully cooked, he was about to announce the start of the meal. But before he could speak a word, the hungry ghosts around him suddenly pounced on the open pot. “You… Wait for me. Hey, don't hit me.” No one cares about his cry, and began to dig into the pot with their spoons. “This is so good.” Sylvia couldn't help but compliment. As she was about to reach for her next scoop, someone put a piece of meat on her spoon. She looked up and saw Ian, who was looking at her. “Here. Let me pick another for you.” Ian took out another meat and put it on her spoon. Sylvia was stunned by his actions, but she still replied. “Thank you. You too, have some.” She took one out of the meat and placed it on his spoon. A smile spread across Ian's lips when he saw this scene. He couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness in his heart. He ate the meat and reached out to pick another piece for Sylvia. But suddenly, he felt a gaze on him and shifted his head towards the direction. Ryker. Ian didn't know why, but when he saw the other party's gaze, he felt as if he had been caught doing something wrong. Ryker, on the other hand, lowered his head and continued to fight with Walker and the others over the soup. But Ian could tell that the latter had already realized something.
