Chapter 131 The Great Lis

But before she could think further about it, a small figure suddenly dashed into the room, falling into her embrace. “Wahh, sister. You look so pretty.” The childish voice sounded across the room. “Thank you.” Sylvia leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. “Now that sister is dressed, why don't we get you in your clothes?” It didn't take long for Sylvia to dress Asher up. The little guy wore black suspender trousers, a light blue shirt underneath, a black bow tie around his neck, and white sneakers to match with it. His black hair was neatly combed and styled perfectly to suit his round, cute face. The long eyelashes fluttered delicately, revealing the sparkling eyes beneath. His small face and plump cheeks make one wish to cuddle and kiss him altogether. He was just too cute! “Wow, you look so handsome, Asher.” Sylvia complimented, looking at the reflection of the young boy in the mirror. The little boy’s face flushed red at her words. He covered his face, bursting into a smile under the cover. Sylvia saw his reaction and smile. She caressed his head gently. “Okay. Let's get going. Urea and the others are waiting for us outside.” Urea had already been released from the punishment chamber an hour ago. “Okay.” Asher hurriedly put down his hand and dashed out of the dressing room. Sylvia, with a smile, followed behind him. “I'll leave the affairs of the house to you, 'Bai'.” She spoke to the nanny robot. “And you, Lis, you aren't coming with us, are you?” 'Eek.' Lis gave a low shout before turning to hide away in a corner. How can the great king like me walk out with a half-bald tail? What if there were other pretty foxes at the party? How am I going to have the courage to face the world then? No. I'm not going. I'd rather hide myself at home than make a fool of myself in public. The great Lis must always appear majestic and grandiose in front of the people. Sylvia had no idea of the thoughts going on in the fox's head. Seeing him hiding away, she took his gesture as a refusal. “Okay. See you soon, then. Bye.” Holding on to Asher's hand, they walked out of the house. … On thousands of kilometers of land, a majestic landscape was presented to view. Massive green trees, gigantic waterfall mountains, and several colorful gardens of beautiful flowers that spread across the wide land. Standing amidst this beautiful landscape was a huge building spanning thousands of meters. Erected at the front entrance of the building gate were two colossal statue figures of a man and woman in royal attire. The carving of the two statues was perfectly detailed, capturing the cold and domineering expression of the man, as well as the beauty and elegance of the woman. The faces of the two statues are renowned across the starry sky planet, since those two are the statues of the king and queen, respectively. And the majestic building behind it is where the dinner banquet is going to take place. In waves, students entered the hall, dressed in their extravagant and luxurious dresses. Their excited chatters, cheerful smiles, and loud footsteps broke the silent scenery of the place.'Chi, chi, chi.' The birds who were getting ready to sleep for the night were immediately awoken by the loud human activities. “Oh, look. What a beautiful bird. Can you capture a picture of me with that bird?” “Sure.” Some students stopped by to capture a picture of the beautiful scenery, while others just walked into the building directly. Upon stepping into the building, one would be met with a grandiose view of the starry stars carpet, almost as if one were in the universe space. The bright indoor light and the soft musical tone floated into one’s ears, bringing in a delighting feeling. At the side were numerous tables lined up against each other. Each of them was filled with different kinds of dishes that could send one's mouth watering. The hungry students headed over to the table of dishes and began to help themselves with the food. However, only a few went ahead, since most people here were there to make some connections with the rich students. As a result, the dinner space was filled with fewer students. “Oh goodness. These spicy chicken wings are so good. Who is the chef? I'll definitely give him a hundred points for his skill.” Colton sat amidst a huge plate of chicken, filling up his stomach. His voracious eating behavior caused some girls to look at him with disgust. “Yuck, who's that? How come he resembles a ghost who has been starving for centuries?” “Come on, let's leave this place. I don't want to be seated next to someone eating like that.” The girls soon moved away. They hadn't bothered to lower their voices. So, all of their conversation fell into Colton's ears. But he didn't seem to mind about it and continued eating. He turned his head to the masked person seated next to him. “Don't you think it's too much to come to a dinner banquet with your face covered. Here, have some chicken.” He pushed the plate filled with spicy chicken wings in front of the masked person. The masked person stared at the plate of chicken put in front of him, his face shifting into a frown. “Ah, look at me. How could I forget that you can't handle spicy meals? Looks like I'll have to eat them all by myself. What a pity.” Colton pulls the plate back to himself. “What a shame that you can't have a taste of this delicious chicken. It's so pitiful.” Ian felt like rolling his eyes when he heard Colton's half-concerning words. Ignoring the other party's words, he shifted his gaze elsewhere and just happened to meet the familiar figure walking into the hall. 'Bang.' It felt as if thousands of fireworks were going off in his head at that moment. … Sylvia stepped into the hall in her dress, along with Asher beside her. “Do you want to grab some food first. My stomach is already rumbling with hunger. Damm those robots. How can they leave me starving while being locked up?” As Urea lamented, Sanchez, who was standing at the side, had a guilty look on his face. Ever since Urea was released, he had tried to approach her but was unfortunately ignored by her. “I'm also hungry. Let's go to the table.” Sylvia responded. “I'll also join you,” Uast spoke out. “I'm not versatile in this kind of gathering. But if any of you wants to leave, you can. Don't mind my decision.” The last two sentences were meant for the other year three students who were trailing behind them. “Okay, I'm leaving.” One of them waved and left the group.“Me too, bye guys.” They all left one by one leaving only Sanchez standing alone. “I…” “Let's go, Sylvia.” Urea didn't bother to wait for his sentence and walked away with Sylvia. 'Sigh,' Sanchez lowered his head sadly. “Take heart.” Uast gave him a pat on the shoulder in consolation before walking away. In the end, Sanchez didn't follow them, but mixed into the gathering crowd. Urea saw an empty table and led everyone over. “Here. Have some cake, Asher. I heard that little kids become plumper whenever they eat some cakes.” Urea placed a small piece of strawberry cake onto Asher's plate. “Thank you, big sister Urea.” “Wahh. You're so cute.” It would have been great if those devils she called brothers at home were this cute as Asher. As she raised her head up, her eyes subconsciously met a masked guy sneaking a look in her direction. But in the seconds, the guy's gaze seems to vanish. Is it my illusion, or was that person just staring in my direction? She took another glance at him, but seeing that the other party's gaze was elsewhere, she thought it must have been her illusion.
