Interstellar Businesswoman Tycoon
“You were so cool out there, Sylvia.” Urea and the others began to praise the moment Sylvia appeared. “Yeah. It's the first time I've ever listened to such an exquisite song like the one you sang out there. You're so great, Sylvia.” “I don’t know if it’s a placebo effect, but my mind became clearer when I listened to the song you sang. Thumbs up.” Each of them said a nice compliment about her. Sylvia didn't know what to say except to thank them all. “Thank you so much for your praise.” As she sat down, she noticed that the seats Genevieve and her friends were occupying were already empty. Clearly, they had left in shame after witnessing Sylvia come out as the winner. “Sister,” Asher called as he wrapped his little hands around his sister's waist. “Hmm.” Sylvia looked at him, brushing her hand over his head. My sister is so cool. With his IQ, Asher could understand that everyone was praising his sister for her wonderful performance. So, he was quite delighted about it. He moved his head slightly away from Sylvia's embrace and stared into her eyes. “Can you sing for me every day, sister? I want to listen to your beautiful voice.” Sylvia saw the sparkle in the little guy's eyes, making one unable to refuse his request. “Okay.” A gentle smile appeared on her face. “I will sing for you every night before you go to bed.” “He-he.” The little guy became happy at the answer, and burrowed himself into her embrace once more. The students watched the sweet interactions between the two siblings and couldn't help but feel moved. “So cute. Sylvia, can you also adopt me as your younger sister? I promise I won't eat much of your food. Besides, I can work and clean the whole house for you. My only request will be for me to listen to your song every day.” Urea put on a pitiful expression as she took Sylvia's hand. “Get off your stinky body away from my idol.” Sanchez, as the sole villain, jerked Urea's hand away from Sylvia and looked at her with a disdainful expression. “You!” Urea's anger instantly flared up. “I swear I'm going to kill you today, Sanchez!” She pounced straight at Sanchez, hitting him right in the face. The whole scenario seems to have happened so fast, not giving anyone the time to react. Urea fists rain down on Sanchez. She had been wishing to hit that shitty mouth of his. Hence, she didn't hold back at all when she got the chance. “Ah, help! Save me. She's going to kill me.” Sanchez cried out. Feeling the metallic taste in his mouth, he knew that it was blood and began to cry for help. Damm, has she gone crazy. Witnessing the violence, Sylvia immediately pulled Asher into her embrace, covering his sight with her body. This was a scene not to be watched by a kid. Uast and the other students watched as Sanchez cried for help. But instead of helping him out, they all turned a blind eye to the scene and focused their sights onto the stage. It wasn't that they didn't want to save Sanchez from his current predicament, but because there was already a helper on the way. Not long after, several flying robots appeared in the air, heading in their direction. “I'm going… *Bang* …to …*bang* …hit that stinky mouth of yours to death.”Urea sensed the appearance of the robots behind her, and her punch became faster, knocking out several teeth from Sanchez's mouth. The arriving robots soon landed before their target. Urea also halted her movement at the same time. [Ding. Detecting that Hermes Academy, Urea Dilo, has broken the rules by hitting a student in the event space. Please comply with us and follow us to the punishment chamber.] The cold mechanical voice of the robot sounded. Urea didn't resist and put out her hand. A cold metal device was latched onto her wrists, preventing her from using any of her abilities. Soon, Urea was led away by the robots. Just after Urea had left, another robot arrived, stopping in front of the injured Sanchez. The compartment below its chest flipped open, revealing a small tube filled with blue substance that was inside. Bringing it out, the robot poured the substance into Sanchez's mouth, and his injuries began to heal. As for his lost teeth, it would take several days for them to grow back to normal. Seeing that his face was all healed, the robot left the area. There was a sudden silence around the space, until Uast's cold voice rang out. “Do you know what you did wrong?” He stared at Sanchez, whose face was still covered in blood. There wasn't an iota of pity in his eyes. “Yeah. I shouldn't have gone too far.” Sanchez looked down, not a bit of his mischievous self to be seen. “But--” “No but.” Uast cut in. “Apologize to Urea once she's out of the punishment chamber. Furthermore, change your manner of approach to her. It's so bad.” Sanchez lifted his head, staring at Uast in disbelief. “You… You knew?”Uast didn't answer Sanchez's question and turned his head away. Sanchez was still in shock about how Uast knew of his secret affection for Urea. He had kept his feelings hidden all through the first year. Just how did Uast find out about it? “Go wash your face, Sanchez. It's covered in blood.” Someone reminded him. “Oh. Thank you.” Sanchez stood up and headed over to the restroom. … The event went on until the late afternoon. Although, it was restricted to bring in snacks to the stadium, students could still head outside to grab some food. So even though the event finished late, most of them weren't that hungry. “As you all know, the last activity of the day would be the dinner banquet.” At the mention of the dinner banquet, the audience burst into a cheer. “Okay, I know you're all excited, but make sure to be in the hall before seven. As usual, the two best-dressed students would be awarded the title of the summer camp king and queen.” “Wow, I can't wait for tonight. I've already prepared the dress I'll be wearing to the banquet.” “Me too. I can't wait to be the most dazzling girl tonight.” The dinner banquet is a repeated activity in every summer holiday event. Even though it's said to be a dinner party, to the students, it was a place where they could flaunt out their extravagant dressing. Most especially the students from the top-tier academy. Apart from this, the gathering could also facilitate some business connections among students whose parents are influential.Once the last announcement ended, everyone began to leave the stadium area, wanting to go out for some sightseeing. Or perhaps take some pictures and post them on their moment. “Gosh, I'm so hungry. I'm going to eat to my fill at the banquet tonight.” Colton rubbed his stomach which was roaring out in hunger. Unlike others, he hadn't gone outside to grab some food, so he was quite hungry. “What's wrong?” Seeing Ian, who appeared lost beside him, he asked. “Nothing.” Ian shook his head and got up to his feet. “Let's go.” He began to walk out. Colton stared at Ian’s departing back in deep thought. Quickly after, he shrugged off whatever thinking he had and followed behind him.
