"Shut up!" Caroline shot back. Francis yanked Caroline away, running so fast that Caroline was out of breath. However, that wasn't the worst part. Francis was one of those guys who didn't know his own strength. His grip on her wrist was so tight, it almost felt bruised. She called out to him to slow down, wanting to pull her wrist out of his grip. Caroline wasn't someone delicate. However, Francis was just too damn impatient! Caroline snapped out loud, "Have you been single for over thirty years or something? The moment you see a woman, you use every bit of strength you've got? You're running faster than you do in combat, and holding onto me as if you're subduing an enemy! If he continued this way, Caroline was about ready to throw him to the ground. From a distance, the two of them looked like they were fighting. One person was pulling the other forward with a cheeky and rougish look. Meanwhile, the other was trying their hardest to break free of his grip, prying at his fingers. Caroline had bathed herself with spring water multiple times, and her skin was smooth and beautiful. Even though she usually carried herself with a strong aura, her beautiful skin made her look graceful. Putting all of this together, it looked as if Francis was taking advantage of Caroline. Of course, that only lasted a few seconds. Seeing that Caroline was resisting, Francis quickly let go of her, his footsteps slowing down considerably. However, he continued talking. "Oh, Caroline! Can't we be a little bolder? For the past thirty years, I've never dated anyone..." Before Francis could finish, he let out a yelp as he felt a surge of electricity twist and surge toward him, sending an electric shock through his body. As the electricity shot through him, his clothes got shredded, his hair stood on end, and his entire body stiffened for just a second before he toppled over. Caroline's eyes widened, and she scanned the area around them. Sure enough, a tall, striking woman with a sharp buzz cut was standing just a few yards away. She stared coldly at Francis, a hint of anger flashing in her eyes. "How dare you bully Caroline, you creep!" Caroline froze for about three seconds before she burst out laughing. As she laughed, she strode toward the woman, pulling her into a hug. "Kay, it's been a long time." It was Kay who had arrived. Kay had chopped her hair off, leaving it cropped short. She was wearing an oversized tank top and baggy shorts that looked like they belonged to a man. Even so, it couldn't hide her beautiful figure. Her skin was beautifully tanned. She had two long scars across her face, but her eyes were stunningly beautiful, and her sharp nose was striking. "Caroline, I missed you so much!" Kay held Caroline in a tight hug, her voice trembling a little. Caroline patted Kay's back gently, not saying anything. She knew it was much more dangerous at the front lines compared to the base. Kay had been living at the edge of danger every single day. The moment Caroline hugged Kay, she felt the solid power in Kay's muscles. Right now, Kay was like a sharpened blade, ready to strike at any moment. "What was that guy trying to do to you?" Caroline and Kay stepped back from each other. Kay threw an glare at Francis, who was clutching his head as he tried to climb to his feet. "Should I zap him again?" Kay asked, looking at Caroline seriously. Caroline let herself feel sorry for Francis for about three seconds. Francis had been dreaming about meeting Kay for so long, yet he'd earned the reputation of being a sleazebag the moment Kay met him. Caroline was about to explain when Francis climbed to his feet. He glanced at Caroline and Kay, quickly heading over with a grin. As he approached them, he called out, "Hi, you're Kay, right? I'm Francis Sutton. I've been hoping to meet you." However, Kay hadn't held back when she'd delivered the electric shock earlier. Francis was still a bit woozy. Even as he looked forward, he couldn't walk straight, and he wobbled with each step. After a couple of steps, he almost fell flat on his face. Kay was indeed really strong. At least, no one else in Hornvale was as strong as her. Kay frowned as she watched Francis approaching. The man staggered toward her like a drunk while spouting lewd comments. Without a second thought, she struck again the moment he got close. This time, from Caroline's point of view, it looked like Francis's entire body had convulsed. He lost his balance and crumpled to the ground. However, this time he was ready. He fell, one knee hitting the ground as he held himself steady that way. Even after a second shock, he raised his head, revealing a crooked grin. His eyes were trained on Kay as he said, "That's hot."
