Stronger Every Time I Die
The moment Arthur and Ashley appeared, the crowd couldn’t help but break into cheers. Compliments echoed all around. The people on the island were simple and sincere. Some had followed Benjamin through blood and fire to survive on Heaven Island, while others had been brought back during his trips to the mainland. They were all people who had once lived in extreme poverty or had nowhere else to turn. Even though Heaven Island was rich in resources, living here still required trade and contact with the outside world. Over the years, Benjamin had tirelessly traveled beyond the island to ensure its people could live well. All the goods and materials Heaven Island traded with the outside were made possible by Benjamin’s constant efforts. The hardship of those journeys—only he knew. Many of the people here were ones Benjamin had helped during those years of travel. But without exception, they were all decent and trustworthy. Benjamin would never bring anyone with ill intent back to the island, not if they could threaten the peace of its people. That was why life on Heaven Island was so harmonious. Even though everyone came from different backgrounds, the community was genuinely kind and tight-knit. Everyone—young and old—had come to this banquet, and the atmosphere was alive with excitement. Benjamin was truly happy. The whole thing felt like a ruler celebrating with his people. Dressed in festive red, Benjamin stood tall on the stage, beaming from ear to ear. The joy on his face couldn’t be hidden even if he tried. There wasn’t even a host—he took the mic himself, and his deep voice echoed through the massive banquet hall. “Everyone! Welcome to the welcome banquet for my grandson, Arthur!” As soon as the words fell, thunderous applause erupted from the crowd. Arthur, Ashley, and Nina stood behind Benjamin, looking out at the crowd and feeling firsthand the warmth and honesty of the people on Heaven Island. It was no wonder that once people settled here, they never wanted to leave. Heaven Island was a true paradise, a peaceful world apart. With such a genuine community, if anyone ever ran into trouble, the neighbors would step in without hesitation. Far from the schemes and power plays of the outside world, life here was filled with simple joy. Even Arthur and Ashley were reluctant to leave. But Arthur still had unfinished business outside. Zac, Renee, Solivair, the Gray Corporation that had yet to be reclaimed, and the Yanbrough family... Before, Arthur hadn’t been in a hurry to take back Gray Corporation. But now that he had found his grandfather, he couldn’t let it remain in someone else’s hands. Now that he had Heaven’s Cult backing him, it was time to settle these old scores. The Yanbroughs, and many people he cared about, were still on the mainland. If he didn’t confront them, it would only cause trouble later. The banquet continued smoothly into the night. Everyone wore a smile from the heart. They were truly happy for Benjamin. These were people who had once received his help. Now, Benjamin had found his real grandson, and there was someone to carry on his legacy. Their joy was sincere. The celebration lasted until late into the night. Arthur and Ashley officially moved into Heaven Island Palace. In just two days, Benjamin had arranged for an entire courtyard to be set up for them. Everything they could possibly need had been prepared. Heaven Island Palace had become Arthur’s second home. Three days later, Arthur and Ashley prepared to leave the island. Benjamin and Nina reluctantly escorted them to the cruise ship waiting at the dock.It was the island’s safest and finest ship—personally arranged by Benjamin. And for Arthur’s safety, Benjamin had also assigned four of his most trusted bodyguards. These weren’t just any guards—they were handpicked from the elite, masters of combat, and held respected positions within Heaven’s Cult. When the time came, they’d be a great help to Arthur. Benjamin and Nina watched the pair’s figures slowly walk away. Staring at Arthur—now taller than him—Benjamin was filled with emotion. Their time together had been short. He didn’t want to part ways. But he knew the truth: young people had their own paths to walk, their own worlds to conquer. Benjamin gave him a heartfelt reminder. “Arthur, don’t bottle things up. If someone dares to mess with you—hit back. Don’t ever let yourself be wronged. I may not be all-powerful, but in this world, I can still cover your back.” Well damn. He could cover Arthur’s back in this world, and yet he said he didn’t have much skill? If outsiders had heard that, they’d definitely call it what it was: humblebragging of the highest order. But Arthur knew—his grandfather wasn’t exaggerating.
