Stronger Every Time I Die
Everyone watching the screen was shocked! What just happened? Did Arthur really catch Kent's fist with his bare hands at the last moment? Everyone gasped in disbelief! If they weren't worried about Mateo getting angry, they would have loved to replay that scene a few more times to see exactly what happened! How did Arthur manage that? The few people in the video were clearly as stunned as they were. But Arthur didn't give them a chance to react; he quickly sidestepped and yanked Kent hard! Kent was thrown harshly to the ground, emitting a cry of pain. That clean and efficient move was even more slick than in the movies! Then, the other three regained their senses, but they were no match for Arthur. In just a few exchanges, all three were on the ground, wailing. They hadn't managed a single effective move against Arthur! The whole process took just a few seconds, and in that time, Arthur had already knocked all four of them down! This was just too incredible! Not just for them, even Taylor in the video hadn't caught up with what happened. Some of the female students couldn't help but cover their mouths and exclaim, "So handsome!" Who would have thought that the new guy, Arthur, could move like that! He must be a seasoned martial artist! Those decisive, clean movements, with not a single unnecessary gesture, were just too cool! A group of people, through one surveillance video, had unwittingly shifted from hating Arthur to becoming his biggest fans. While they watched the surveillance video, Mateo was watching too. Seeing Arthur's crisp and efficient moves on the screen, Mateo couldn't help but cheer for him! Cool! Really too cool! Before they arrived, Mateo had already watched the surveillance video once, and this segment was one he had saved. Watching it again, he still couldn't resist the urge to applaud. Mateo turned off the computer and looked at the crowd again, "So, what do you think now? Do you still think that Taylor and Arthur were bullying the weak? Do you still think that Kent and his group were wronged?"As he spoke, Mateo specifically glanced at Henry, who was leading the group. At this moment, Henry's face was deathly pale, and his back was drenched with cold sweat. His hands were trembling uncontrollably. He had rallied so many people to seek justice from the principal, but now, he was utterly humiliated! Throughout, Taylor and Arthur had no intention of starting trouble; it was Kent and his group, constantly calling them losers! Henry hung his head in shame, unable to utter any rebuttal. The others felt the same shame. They, students of the law school, had rushed over without sufficient evidence, blindly following Henry in the pursuit of so-called 'justice.' The principal was right; they had let down the teachers who worked hard to educate them, and the parents who supported their studies. They didn't even have the ability to judge for themselves. At the time, they were just heated because Kent and his group had helped them before, and they were grateful for that kindness. When they heard that Kent and his group were being bullied, anger immediately clouded their judgment. And they had the advantage of numbers. Henry clenched his back teeth hard, murmuring, "Mr. Mateo, I'm sorry, we shouldn't have made assumptions without clear evidence." What they didn't know was that outside the principal's office, around the corner, a figure was clenching his fists tightly, the fierceness in his eyes startling! After being reprimanded by Mateo, Henry and his group faced collective punishment. Not only were they punished, but the incident was also to be posted on the school's bulletin board as a caution to other students. Arthur and Taylor were unaffected by the incident; both were resilient individuals, and this didn't impact their daily lives. After eating, Taylor took Arthur on a thorough tour of Governance University. Inside the student council office, Finley sat at his desk while Henry and a bandaged Kent stood dejectedly in front of him. Kent dejectedly said, "I didn't expect Mr. Mateo to have secretly installed cameras on that path. We never noticed them before." "This was our impulsive mistake. Next time, we must plan better before we act!" Henry added. At that moment, upon hearing that Kent had been beaten by Arthur and Taylor, he was both excited and angry. He hadn't even taken the time to see Kent first, to ask what happened, before rushing to confront them. After all, they had limited time; once lunch was over, everyone would have left. If he wanted to rally such a large group later, it would be difficult. Finley kept his eyes lowered, and the two couldn't guess what he was thinking.
