Chapter 330 Taylor Talks, Arthur Punches

Kent let out a disdainful scoff. "Hah, Cloudia Corporation? A tiny company that’s only been around for two years? And you actually think it can compare to Finley’s family conglomerate?" Before they could continue, Taylor immediately cut in. "A family conglomerate? And what does that have to do with Finley? Did he build it from the ground up?" That shut them up again. Taylor pressed on, "And let’s not forget—Arthur scored first place nationwide on the SATs! Can any of you say the same?" The color drained from their faces. Kent gritted his teeth and spat out, "Our Finley’s scores weren’t bad either! He was in the top three on last year’s SATs!" Taylor let out a sarcastic laugh. "Oh? Top three? That’s still lower than Arthur’s, isn’t it? Arthur was first! And even if Finley is impressive, what about you guys? Did you score higher than Arthur? Did you build a company bigger than Cloudia Corporation? You’re just a bunch of nobodies, so what gives you the right to run your mouths here?" Taylor’s relentless attack left Arthur stunned. Taylor might not have been tall, and he certainly looked like an innocent and lively guy, but when it came to arguing, he was ruthless! Arthur quickly realized he didn’t need to step in at all—Taylor alone was enough to hold the line against an army. The four guys’ faces turned red and pale in turns, unable to get a word in. At this time of day, it wasn’t quite mealtime yet, and the area was mostly empty. There weren’t even security cameras on this small pathway. Kent and his group, furious beyond reason, glanced around, confirming that no one was watching. Then, with a loud yell, Kent raised his fist and lunged forward! "Taylor! I’m gonna beat you to death, you damn loser!" Seeing Kent make his move, the other three immediately followed, charging straight at them. "You’re going to die!" Taylor hadn’t expected them to actually start a fight on campus. He froze in shock. Kent and his friends were all big and built, while Taylor was only good at talking. If it really came down to a physical fight, they could take him down with just a couple of swings. His face turned pale. He stood there, paralyzed, completely forgetting to dodge.Just as Kent’s fist was about to land on Taylor’s face— A large hand shot out from behind Taylor, catching Kent’s fist in a firm grip. Kent’s eyes widened in shock as he looked up to see Arthur gripping his hand. It felt like his fist had been caught by an iron clamp—, ompletely immobilized. The three guys behind him also froze in disbelief. What the heck? A punch could be stopped like that? Taking advantage of their stunned silence, Arthur calmly turned to Taylor and asked, "If I hurt them, will there be consequences?" It was Arthur’s first day at Governance University. He had come here to study, not to cause trouble. He didn’t want to start a fight unless absolutely necessary. But these guys had pushed things too far. Arthur’s voice snapped Taylor back to reality. He quickly processed the situation and, seeing Arthur effortlessly holding Kent in place, felt a sudden surge of confidence. "Just go for it! Mia will handle everything for us!" Arthur raised an eyebrow. Right, Mia’s family basically ran the top law firm in Evergrand City. And since they were all under Hugo’s mentorship, they were practically family. What were these idiots thinking, messing with the wrong people? With Taylor’s confirmation, Arthur didn’t hesitate any longer. He shifted his stance, his grip tightening around Kent’s fist before yanking him forward with incredible force. Then, with one smooth motion, Arthur bent low, using Kent’s own momentum to flip him over. Kent slammed into the ground with a heavy thud. His three lackeys gawked, their faces frozen in shock. A second later, they snapped out of it, exchanged glances, and yelled, "All together!" With clenched fists, they charged at Arthur. Arthur swiftly stepped in front of Taylor, raising his leg in a powerful kick that landed squarely in one guy’s stomach. The impact sent him flying several feet back before he crashed to the ground, groaning in pain. The second guy, witnessing this, immediately realized he stood no chance. His legs wobbled, and he instinctively hesitated, considering an escape. Arthur didn’t give him the chance. Grabbing his arm, Arthur yanked him forward and brought his knee down hard against the guy’s back. His face slammed into the ground with a sickening crunch, and bright red blood instantly seeped out from his nose. The last guy was already trembling, his legs shaking like jelly. He had no idea what to do. Arthur didn’t even acknowledge his hesitation. With one solid punch, he landed a direct hit to the guy’s eye. The impact sent him stumbling backward, crashing straight into Kent, knocking them both down in a heap.
