The Despised Luna's Comeback
Wendy's POV: At the Wild Pack's villa in the suburbs. I sat on the couch, smiling as I scrolled through the news about Rosaline and Jasper on my phone. "Wendy, look at this! Everyone knows about Rosaline's scandal now. This lowly Omega's reputation is completely ruined!" Lilian said, standing nearby, speaking cautiously. That night, she was hauled into the werewolf police station. I had to ask the Wild Pack's Alpha for help and pull a few strings to get her out. "Hmph." I snorted, glaring at Lilian. "And you still have the nerve to talk? That night, when we had such a great opportunity, you let that b*tch Rosaline stab us in the back. You can't even handle something this simple! If it weren't for me getting the media to write it that way, we'd be screwed because of you!" Lilian immediately dropped to the floor, kissing my hand with exaggerated flattery. "Yes, yes, Wendy, it's all my fault. But I've been making up for it by hiring all those online trolls to ruin Rosaline's reputation!" "Alright, get up. By the way," I pulled my hand away, suddenly remembering something. "How's Candice doing lately?" Lilian lowered her head obediently and replied, "I heard that the Alpha of the Phantom Pack, her brother, hired werewolf bodyguards to watch over her and won't let her leave the house." "Really?" I narrowed my eyes, a sharp gleam flashing in them. "If she can't go out, then we can visit her." "Wendy, what do you mean?" Lilian quickly asked. I pointed at the photo of Rosaline and Jasper on my phone screen. "We'll show this to the noble lady of the Phantom Pack." After all, Candice was the young lady of the Phantom Pack, and her obsession with Jasper was the reason she'd caused trouble for Rosaline so many times before. Now, if we showed her the gossip about Jasper and Rosaline, she'd be insanely jealous. Once that happened, I was sure Candice wouldn't hesitate to go after Rosaline again. Lilian quickly nodded. "Okay, we'll go to her house tomorrow." "Tomorrow? Why wait? Go now!" I snapped, suddenly standing up and glaring at Lilian. "Why are you still standing there? Go!" I couldn't wait any longer! That Omega sl*t was a temptress, she knew how to seduce men. The thought of Rosaline moving back into Caden's apartment, and spending every day with him, made my teeth grind with fury. Lilian quickly caught up to me. "Wendy, wait for me!" We drove to the Wild Pack's villa, and I told Lilian to ring the doorbell. The one who opened the door was the Wild Pack's butler. I remembered his name was Rico. "We're here to see Ms. Candice," Lilian spoke up. Rico, recognizing us, greeted us politely. "Ms. Crawford, Ms. White, please come in." Lilian and I followed Rico, and we quickly arrived at Candice's room. "Are you looking for me?" Candice asked, reclining on the sofa, and looking at us indifferently. I gave Lilian a look, and she understood immediately. She spoke up, "Ms. Reese, we heard your brother locked you up. Wendy and I came to visit you." "That's not true. I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, so I've been staying in," Candice quickly denied. "Are you okay?" I immediately asked, concerned. Candice shook her head and calmly replied, "I'm fine." "Ms. Reese, we're glad to hear that," Lilian added. "But we really feel for you." While speaking, Lilian pulled out her phone and handed it to Candice. "Look at this. Rosaline, that shameless Omega sl*t, is at it again, trying to seduce Jasper." Candice's eyes locked onto the phone screen. Seeing how close and intimate Rosaline and Jasper were, her expression changed in an instant. She angrily threw the phone onto the carpet. "No wonder my brother took my phone away this morning," Candice fumed. "That Omega b*tch! It's all because of her that my brother locked me up!" Her furious outburst confirmed what I had hoped for. My plan was working perfectly.I gave Lilian a quick glance and smiled as I said my farewell. "Ms. Reese, I can see you're really upset, but we're glad to know you're okay. It's getting late, so we'll let you get some rest and won't take up any more of your time." I nodded to Lilian, who picked up the phone as we turned to leave. Behind us, Candice's voice rang out in anger, "Rosaline, that Omega sl*t, I won't let her get away with this!" Rosaline's POV: It was 8 a.m. when I woke up, just in time for my breakfast delivery from the Ivernia restaurant. When I stepped outside, the driver was already there, waiting to take me to Eclipse Group for work. "Ms. Sinclair, Mr. Holbrook instructed me to take you to the company," the driver said respectfully. A warm feeling washed over me. Even though Caden was away on a business trip, he made sure everything was perfectly arranged for me. I felt a surprising sense of ease, almost like I was stepping into the role of Alpha in the Shadow Pack. As I sat in the car, I looked out the window, my thoughts in turmoil. Maybe I could consider going back together with Caden? I decided to wait a little longer. After all, Tessa's situation still wasn't resolved. When I arrived at Eclipse Group and turned on my computer, I hadn't even started working yet when my phone suddenly rang. I glanced down to see it was Bert calling. Why would he be calling me so early in the morning? My heart skipped a beat. Could something have happened to Richard? I quickly picked up the phone. "Dr. Williamson, is everything okay?"Bert's voice came through, full of urgency. "Ms. Sinclair, Alpha's condition has suddenly worsened. He's currently in the operating room undergoing emergency surgery. We can't get in touch with Mr. Holbrook, so we had to call you."
