The Despised Luna's Comeback

Chapter 329 Do I Need to Pick a Day for That?

I was drenched from head to toe. "Rosaline, how can you be so shameless? You're fooling around with Jasper while still clinging to my cousin. You disgraceful Omega! And now you're lying here, sleeping like nothing's wrong!" Queenie yelled, holding a water bucket in one hand and jabbing her finger at me as she ranted. "Rosaline, pack your things and get out of here! You've already broken off your engagement with Caden, and yet you're still shamelessly hanging around?! The Holbrooks would never let a loose, lowly Omega like you marry into our family. We, the Eclipse Pack, can't afford to have someone like you representing us!" Eleanor said, her face twisted with anger. As she spoke, Queenie had already pulled out my clothes and carelessly shoved them into my suitcase. Were they trying to kick me out of the house while Caden wasn't around? I glanced indifferently at the two of them acting so arrogantly, speaking in a calm tone, "Did you throw water on me?" My calm demeanor had caught both Queenie and Eleanor off guard. "So what? It was me who threw water on you! What are you going to do about it? I was just getting back at you for my cousin. Who told you to be so shameless, playing both sides and trying to seduce him?" Queenie said, opening her phone and clicking on today's top trending search. "Look at the mess you've made!" I gave a faint glance. What met my eyes was a photo of me and Jasper from last night in the lounge. In the picture, we were close to each other, both drenched. The caption underneath was suggestive, leaving much to the imagination. I couldn't help but frown. Wasn't everything about last night already cleared up? Didn't Lilian drug both me and Jasper? Why were these shameless media still making up lies? No wonder Eleanor and Queenie showed up this morning to yell at me. I looked at the two fierce and stupid women, and sneered as I stood up from the bed. Without saying a word, I grabbed Queenie by the wrist and forcefully pulled her toward the bathroom. "What are you doing?!" Queenie, unprepared, tried to pull away, but I held her tightly."Aunt Eleanor, help me!" Queenie screamed. I didn't care about her struggles or screams. I dragged her into the bathroom, shoved her into the bathtub, and forcefully pressed her down into the water. "Ah—glub glub ... " Queenie screamed for a second, then immediately choked on the water, it flooding her mouth and nose. I pressed down on her hard, letting her struggle in the cold water. Queenie was panicked, trying to break free, but I held her down firmly, not giving her a chance to escape. It was obvious she had never been through anything like this—she even forgot how to shift. Even if she turned into a wolf, she still couldn't beat my Freya. Who was scared of who? Usually, out of respect for Caden, I'd let her off, but did she think I was that easy to bully? "Aunt Eleanor, help me! Rosaline's trying to kill me!" Queenie screamed from the water, calling for Eleanor's help. "Rosaline, let her go!" Eleanor, seeing my fierce expression, hesitated to approach and shouted from outside the bathroom. I sneered. "Queenie, you drenched me earlier, and now I'm just returning the favor. Enjoy the cold shower!" "Rosaline, let her go right now! Don't go too far. Your scandal with that so-called celebrity has spread all over the internet and news. We're not wrong here. Where do you get the guts to act like this?" Eleanor yelled. Scandal spreading all over the internet? Was it about me and Jasper? I frowned at what I heard. Looking at Queenie, drenched and choking, barely able to move, I finally released her. Queenie scrambled out of the bathtub, but her foot slipped, and she fell hard onto the bathroom floor. The tiles were slippery, and she stayed on the floor for a while, unable to get up. "Queenie, are you okay?" Eleanor rushed over, clearly concerned, and hurried to help her up."Aunt Eleanor, don't touch me! Ow, it hurts so much!" Queenie gritted her teeth in pain, glaring at me with hatred. "Aunt Eleanor, that b*tch Rosaline, you have to kick her out!" I didn't even spare them a second glance, walking back to my room. The phone the waiter had taken last night had been returned to me by Caden. I picked it up casually and glanced at it. The internet was flooded with gossip about me two-timing, hooking up with Jasper, secretly betraying Caden, and cheating on him. The entire internet was blasting me with insults, hurling all sorts of foul language my way. I stared at it indifferently, feeling nothing inside. Once again, I was all over the headlines and gone viral. It was clear someone was fueling the fire behind the scenes. Eleanor helped Queenie out, shooting me a glare. "Rosaline, I'm giving you one day. Get out now! Stop causing trouble for Caden!" I didn't even bother looking at them. I walked over to my suitcase, pulled out some clothes, and started changing out of my wet ones. Queenie suddenly walked up, snatched the clothes from my hands, and threw them to the floor, stomping on them with her wet feet. "Rosaline, listen, I'm not someone you can push around. You'd better take my Aunt Eleanor's advice and leave now. Stop acting like a stubborn nuisance that refuses to go!" Queenie hissed. I coldly said, "This shirt is from Bruda's latest collection, it's worth 3 million, and the suitcase, designed by the renowned Ivernia designer Liso, is worth 6 million. Compensate me." "How could this junk be worth that much?!" Queenie screamed, her face turning pale with anger. "Aunt Eleanor, she's trying to scam me!" Queenie grabbed onto Eleanor's arm. I smirked and said, "So, you can't afford it, huh? That's fine, we'll settle this with slaps." Before either Queenie or Eleanor could react ... Smack! I swiftly and decisively slapped Queenie on the face."How dare you slap me?!" Queenie covered her face, staring at me in disbelief. I sneered. "I slapped you because I wanted to. Do I need to pick a day for that?"
