The Despised Luna's Comeback
"You're talking nonsense!" Heidi's expression changed, and she shouted, "How could it possibly be me?" "Why couldn't it be?" Rosaline's smile turned icier. "Still denying it even when you're cornered!" Heidi clenched her fists, her usually delicate face twisted with anger. "The evidence is irrefutable. You've committed an awful crime. Do you think by throwing the blame on me, you can avoid responsibility?!" Seeing Heidi so flustered, Rosaline raised an eyebrow, speaking calmly and slowly, "Irrefutable evidence? Heidi, your so-called evidence doesn't hold up under scrutiny. "Caden, I want to bring someone here, and then the truth will be revealed," Rosaline said, turning her gaze to me. "Rosaline, what are you up to now?" Heidi grabbed my arm, her voice urgent. "Caden, stop listening to her excuses! Let's call the police! Rosaline's actions are despicable, and she needs to be punished!" I smoothly withdrew my arm and looked at Rosaline, asking, "Who are you bringing in?" Rosaline smiled faintly. "You'll find out soon. I'm going to go get them now." She turned and headed toward the door to the CEO's office. Heidi, clearly panicked, yelled, "Rosaline, are you trying to run away from your crime?!" I grabbed her arm, trying to calm her down. "Tessa, don't panic. She's not going anywhere." Rosaline's POV: Run away from my crime? I smirked. Heidi really had quite the imagination. Let her enjoy her victory for now. Soon, I'd make sure to strip away her disguise and reveal her true colors! When I reached the entrance of Eclipse Group, Anthony was already waiting there for me. The moment he saw me, he hurried over, asking with concern, "Wilda, how's everything going?" I smiled and replied, "It's pretty much as we expected." Anthony nodded. "I've seen the reports online. Don't worry, I'll help you expose Heidi for who she really is.""I appreciate it," I said with a shrug. Anthony grinned and teased, "Honestly, you're way better at this than I am. If you stepped in and let them know you're the legendary hacker, Wilda, they'd probably be shocked." I tugged at the corner of my mouth. "No thanks, I'm not ready to reveal my true identity yet." I led him to the door of the CEO's office. Heidi was still rambling in front of Caden. "Rosaline must have come up with an excuse to run away. You need to send someone to go after her—" I cut her off, "Who says I'm running away?" Stepping into the CEO's office, I flashed a calm, confident smile at the werewolves present. As everyone's gaze shifted to the young werewolf standing behind me, who seemed rather unremarkable at first glance, but the IT expert instantly recognized him. He eagerly stepped forward and said, full of admiration, "Are you Anthony?" Those in the industry knew that Anthony was ranked second in the hacker world of Werewolf Continent. Anthony smiled faintly and said, "Yes, that's me." Out of the corner of my eye, I caught sight of Heidi's shocked expression. I chuckled before walking up to Caden. "This is the famous hacker Anthony. I'm sure I don't need to introduce him." Caden nodded at Anthony, his gaze now carrying a deeper, more probing look. "Rosaline, what are you trying to do? Even if you brought in Anthony, it won't change the fact that you leaked the Eclipse Group bid!" Heidi snapped in frustration. "Really?" I replied nonchalantly, giving Caden a brief glance. "Anthony can confirm that I didn't leak the Eclipse Group bid." Then, I turned to Heidi with a cold, piercing gaze. "He can also prove that the one who actually leaked the bid is you." "Rosaline, stop slandering me!" Heidi's expression changed. "Whether it's slander or not, we'll find out soon," I said, a sharp, mocking smile playing on my lips. I pointed to the computer nearby and said, my voice low, "Anthony, you can begin now.""Understood, Ms. Sinclair," Anthony replied, maintaining a professional demeanor in front of everyone. He sat down, opened the computer, and began typing smoothly, his fingers moving swiftly across the keys. The CEO's office fell silent, broken only by the sound of Anthony's fingers on the keyboard. Heidi stared intently at Anthony's hands, her expression growing more and more tense. I calmly watched her. This game had been under my control from the start. Now, it was almost time for Heidi to reap what she sow! A few minutes later, Anthony typed in the final line of code, and then looked up at me. "Done!" "How did it go?" I asked calmly. Anthony pointed to the computer screen and, addressing everyone, said, "I've found the real time the bid data was sent out—it was at 1 AM today, not 10:30 AM yesterday." I spoke coldly, "Then why did the company's IT expert find the time to be 10:30 AM yesterday?" Anthony glanced at the IT expert, speaking bluntly, "Because his skills aren't up to par." The IT expert broke out in a cold sweat, quickly apologizing, "I'm sorry, Mr. Holbrook, it was my mistake." "It's not entirely your fault," I said, my face darkening as I turned to Heidi, who looked completely shocked. "Because someone tampered with my computer, trying to frame me. Isn't that right, Heidi?" Heidi's eyes betrayed a flicker of panic. She took a deep breath and tried to stay composed. "That's just your speculation." "Of course not!" I replied coldly. "Someone remotely accessed my computer, sent the data to BPL, and deliberately altered the time to frame me. And the person behind all of this, Heidi, you know exactly who it is." "What, are you going to blame me again?" Heidi clenched her fists tightly at her sides, her voice rising in anger. "Rosaline, stop making things up and trying to frame me!" "Frame you?" I smiled as if I had heard something absurd.I threw a stack of photos in front of Heidi, and said coldly, "Heidi, take a look for yourself!" The photos showed Heidi with two burly beta werewolves. Caden's eyes turned cold when he saw the pictures on the ground.
